New York City is definitely the place to be without a doubt. And its fairly warm in the mid to late Spring. NYC is all about excitement. You never know what will happen. Everybodys different unlike other cities. You go to any other city and everybody acts the same, goes to the same places, etc. In NYC, everybodys different. Its the only place really where you can be an individual and not be worried about what everybody else thinks around you because in New York, nobody really gives a crap. A famous celebrity could be walking down the street and nobody pays attention because they dont give a crap. But one thing you have to watch out for in NYC is where you are and who you talk to. NYC is not a safe place for young, college students to be. Last Spring a college student I used to know was shot and killed in Washington Heights, a very bad neighborhood in Uptown Manhattan. The mafia is also a thing to watch out for. NYC is the place to be. If you dont like NYC, then s... Read more

It was okay, but overcrowded and overrated. The fact that I am from California did not help much either. Some people were happy about meeting someone from California, and others were not.

New York is a destination that is your best bet for culture, diversity, and another spin on life outside of Davis. Things are hectic, fast, and always on the move in New York. There's always something to do. The only knock is it's still in the U.S., so you don't get to experience being in a different country.

New York is just too far for me, personally to go. Besides, the weather is not fantastic. Kids want to go to fun beach resort places, not busy cities.

New York City is a good place to spend any break. The night life is awesome, and you can entertain yourself during the day at tourist attractions like the Statue of Liberty or NYSE. There's also tons of museums. The only problem is that it can still be really cold, even in March. It definitely isn't the place to get a tan.

Be prepared to have lots of fun in the Big Apple. You must be a city lover to enjoy it though. Although you can always escape to central park for a breathe of fresh air. Don't go without getting a chance to go to a show on Broadway. They are phenomenal.

New York is cold during the Spring time. It is big and impersonal. I cannot imagine going to New York with a group of friends to party for a week. I would have to site see and this would be exhausting. Also, I think of the beach when I think of spring break.

Great city to visit! Times Square is full of cool sites. You can try to stand in line to get on MTV's "Total Request Live." There are so many tourist attractions, like the World Trade Center, Statue of Liberty, etc. It's also a great place to shop because there's no sales tax.

I wouldn't really want to go to New York for my Spring Break because of the lack of beaches. For spring break, students want to go to the beach and see half naked people, and New York wouldn't be the place.

NYC is one of the most fascinating places in the world. The Broadway shows are the best, and the restaurants are unbelievable.

This city is not for the laid back. The shopping is great, and the night life is even better. With tons of different hotspots to go to, New York is a definitely happening place.

I believe New York is one of the greatest places to visit in our country. There are many great tourist attractions such as Times Square, The Statue of Liberty, etc. But if fun in the sun is what you're looking for, you might want to choose a different destination.

New York is a great place for anyone to see. Be sure to go with a group and someone who knows the area. The weather isn't always the greatest though.

NY is fun if you like the city. It reminded me of Madrid(Spain), where I come from.

New York, for Spring Break! My definition of Spring Break must include the beach in a tropical locale. Go to Florida, Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico, but not New York!

New York as a spring break destination? Give me a break. It's an amazing city, but spring breaks should either involve skiing or the beach.

N.Y. would be the best place to go to get culture and entertainment all in one place.

New York is a non-stop party. You can literally drink around the clock if you want. So many attractions that it makes my head spin.

Kind of an overwhelming place, but so totally unique, you gotta go. Stay out of the midtown tourist traps and cruise the outer boroughs -- eat borst in Brighton Beach, go to any of the hundreds of differents kinds of ethnic restaurants in Queens.

New York does not get warm until late April and throughout March is the rainy month, best to go to the beach somewhere in the caribbean.
