New Moon shows the battle side of the loves story of Twilight. The unity of the vampires and the revenge side of the vampires shown in the book marvelously. This is a Grete mixture of vampires and wolves. Wonderful story. this book is more exciting than the Twilight but have to read Twilight to understand New Moon fully. Superb book.

The Volturi race was quite intense in this series but the selfless acts of Edward and Bella made you think anything was possible. This movie and book kept you on the seat of your chair and wanting more . I could not put it down . What a roller coaster ride and when it ended I could not wait for another.

New Moon makes reference to one of the moon's positions, and the fact that the saga goes on... Would like to see what happens when Victoria appears, and also when Jacob tries to interfear...

Ahhh drama. Gotta love it. I like this book because of Jacob. He's fun, exciting, challenging and he wont take no for an answer. He's like the bad boy. He wants Bella to do crazy things and live a little. He makes the whole series in my opinion. Who wants boring old Headward that doesn't let you have any fun and tries to shield you from the world? I dont!

I was slightly disappointed in this book. It may be because I'm an Edward girl at heart, and I thought this book had entirely too much focus on Bella and Jacob, but something was lacking in the plot overall. I'm not saying it was bad, by any means, however, it didn't catch me the way Twilight did.

I won't say too much about this one, but this....... I can NOT wait for this to come out this next year. They are filming it as we speak, but the series in general is AWESOME!!

Talk about emotion! New Moon had so much emotion interwoven throughout the pages that I actually had a hard time putting it down. Like literally, couldn't set the book on the table. I read this in two sittings and when thinking about rereading the series, this is the one that frightens me. I'm not sure I'm ready to go so invested in a book again! Beautiful story - lots of action!

I think some of the readers of the Twilight saga must remember that this is a fictional story. The comments from some the readers, being outraged are really dull. If you don't like the book, then you don't like the book. For the girls that are "obsessed" with the series, we'll that's really normal. I remember friends of mine having huge crushes on the Harry Potter characters. As for a history lesson, a lot of Twilight is suppose to be reminiscent of Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights". If you havn't read the book, please take a chance to. It is an American classic written in 1847, where a girl obsesses her whole life over a boy. Thanks

A Lot of the reviewers here are criticizing this book based on Bella's emotional codependency of Edward. "This book teaches girls that all they need is a man to be happy," is a common complaint. What these feminazis fail to see is that Edward is "the" man for Bella. I have a belief that most people who marry or have had very long term relationships do so out of convenience and compatibility and very little to do with "love". These people have never found a person in which their relationship consists of mutual giving, not giving out of duty or obligation, but giving because you want to take care of that person and not because you want them to do something for you later. In my 31 years of life I've never seen this nor experienced this. All relationships, and yes that was an all encompassing blanket statement, have a subordinate and a dominate; there are no true equals. So these Feminazis having never found "their" man is unable to grasp the concept. This work of fiction is about such an ... Read more

I think I might be a little old for this book. I thought it was intersting and enjoyed the story line, but the characters were a little over-wrought for me.
