Im 29 years old and have been a dancer for 8 years. I'm college educated (UC Davis), down to earth, easy going, and hate drama. I'm not a whore, nor am I looking to hustle money from men outside of the club. I'm engaged and i'm absolutely in love with a man who understands that my job is just a job and I leave my work at work. At the end of the day, my hours are flexible, i can take time off whenever I want and have my days free. I make more money than a lot of men that come into the club. Men assume women that work in this industry are whores, liars, drug addicts and damaged. How about re-examining your narrow-minded preconceived ideas about dancers. I am a classy girl who came from a good family, I have morals and values and am a good hearted person. There are tons of women that work in this industry, and judging dancers purely on their occupation is just plain ignorant. If a person has these awful qualities that this blog has put out there, it's not the job... they were most likely ... Read more

I could simply say that not wearing a seatbelt saved my life... so no one should wear seatbelts because one time in my life is saved me. You dated a stripper one time, you had a bad experience, therefore everytime someone dates a stripper they're going to have a bad experience. no, wrong. you are wrong. i hope you all know that about 90 percent of the population cheat. It's all just a game. get over it. I'm a stripper. I don't whore around. I have long term relationships with all my effort put into them. i try to make it work as best i can. and i do not cheat. I do not lie and find it stupid. I am extremely honest, caring, and forgiving. I am classy and know how to save my money. In fact i pay for my college education and my apartment. no one can even tell im a stripper, it is simply a double life. I don't dress slutty and i don't act slutty because i am NOT slutty. Do not judge someone by their profession. you will regret it. There is no need for name calling, a women did you wrong. i... Read more

every one seems to be forgeting that strippers (like myself) are WOMEN. and we tend to come in all different types. If the girl is a liar, then she lies. if she wants to steal then she will steal. she could be working at a clothing store and doing what she does but it wouldn't be based on her job. Fact! dancing(stripping) is a convinient way to bring in a good amount of income without having to have any form of education or expirience of any kind. Strippers are independant contractors which means they are their own bussiness(having the ability to make your own hours and schedule)Therefore you will find some women that wouldn't be able to hold down a job that requires them to be reliable doing it. On the other hand. If a girl is ambitious, intelligent and driven. then that is who she is and she's going to take advantage of the opportunity to make alot of money. I have met many dancers who invested their money into real estate, or started bussinessess of their own with the connections t... Read more

Let me tell you guys something, I've been dancing 7 years, I'm 25, and I keep my business at work and my personal life at home. If a women is going to cheat she is going to do it regardless if she is a stripper or not. This world is hard and making 10 an hour doesn't cut it expecially when half of that goes to a gallon of gas. Now I can understand most dancers use guys for money, well if your that stupid then I think you deserve it, not all dancers are whores and drug addicts either. I don't drink nor do drugs, I have in the past though when I wasn't dancing. I woman can carry herself smart and classy regardless of her profession, and when I go to a regular club I feel like I'm at work anyways because the men act the same and the regular girls act like tramps. So I think you can date a stripper, but just like any other person, you have to find the right one.

Why not? I did for a while, when I was between marriages, and it was a fair bit of fun.She was a lot more interesting, and had more common sense than some better educated women I was seeing.More gymnastic, too........

I agree with a previous reviewer that dancers should be treated like any other person. I dated a stripper once. She was tall, beautiful, well-educated, a good mother and smart from the streets of New York. But, when I found out that her ex was connected (really connected), was part of the Florida mob AND was packing heat in that little purse of hers, I knew I was in over my head.Run, Forrest! Run!

One thing, hot good looking women with brains don't strip. You see, they don't have to. The hot chicks I know, wouldn't consider doing such a thing. As a guy, I like to work for it before I get the goods as well as the mystery. Strippers are what they are.

Well i am a stripper and i have alot of class, i am not a drama queen, i am one of the most down to earth ,outgoing and a really giving person. And yeah i have my "issues" but not more than anyone else! So even though alot of strippers are what u guys have said, there are alot including me that are stable, have class, are not just a PIECE OF MEAT, are not just for having fun or fucking and some of us like me are just stripping to get through school! So b4 u guys talk us down more and judge us just remember that most of us are just trying to make some money so we can get through school and have a little fun at the same time, just like everyone else. The only difference is we are probally making more money than most of u and we use the art of are bodies to do so. Oh and by the way i also have a fiance that i have been with for 4 years now and i have been danceing for 3 1/2 years. I also do not drink and have never been drunk nor have i Ever tried any drugs, and for the record since strip... Read more

This one should be titled, "Never stalk that stripper you obsess over. She'll call the cops, or get her biker boyfriend to kick your ass, or both." I dated a stripper for a good while, had a great time. To me she was my girlfriend who happened to strip for a living. To mikeholly93 they appear to be basely objectified things, isn't that the same mentality that serial killers have?

I dated an ex-stripper once. She was a bit of a drama queen. In my defense, however, I'd like to point out that I only went out with her for a couple months and that she had a large rack. And those are my XY chromosome justifications!

J.Red. says it all, but I hasten to add the old adage "never sleep with a woman who is crazier than you are," and remember that old song--I last heard the New Riders of the Purple Sage sing it--"She's looking better every beer!"

The one thing I took away from my 3 month stripper relationship would be these following rules: 1. Never ask for a strippers number until all the lights are on in the club, from experience, the girl i had persued and got the number from, well, once the lights came on, it was a catastrophe. : 2. Dark lights and black lights can make any girl look hot, just wait till the end of night when you can get a good shot of her with lighting. 3. Never piss off a stripper because a strippers wrath is a horrible thing. 4. Never tell a stripper your real name, age, or location. 5. Always use spermicidal condoms, under all circumstances neccesarry. 6. Never piss off a stripper because they are so unstable that you might wake up one day with 37 missed calls from her after she had swigged a gallon of mean green mad dog, trust me, not a good experience. 7. Never ever ever under any circumstance meet their family, because if you do, you are automatically designated her knight and shining armor. 8. Watch ... Read more

Strippers are only good for one thing, to have fun. Do not fall in love like I did. Do not take them to serious. Not all girls are sluts or whores but one thing I do guarantee is that they all have issues that will show there ugly face if you begin a serious long term relationship. Good luck and make sure to use protection.

Sounds like someone is a little envious. . .I wasn't this lucky, but my buddy dated a few of these ladies and at the present he is a fine member of society. Score one for the sexually active. . .
