Sun Feb 11 2001Arrrggh!!!! 1. I order 3 items from website but when I hit submit I get: "Server busy try again later". Later I "try again" and order goes through. When I check my email there is TWO orders with the same three items. 2. After 20 minutes on hold I have a very nice customer service agent cancel one of the orders. That should be enough right? 3. The morning after I check my email and there is no cancelation confirmation but there are two emails saying that the same two of three items had been shipped and my credit card charged, thank you. 4. After spending another 20 minutes listening to the netmarket on hold COMMERCIALS, I talk to another very nice person who can't find any record of a cancelation but then cancels the remaining item on the order I had cancelled the day before and gives me an RMA number to send back the items I did not want. 5. Thu Nov 16 2000They organize it well and deliver it fast, but the things I buy look so different from how they look on the site. I feel like I've been cheated. It's true that the price is low, but the thing I bought doesn't even look worth the price I paid. The customer service is good and polite.

Tue Sep 05 2000The NetMarket site botched my order and ended up thinking I had ordered two of the same thing. I went through their cancellation process THE NEXT MORNING and got a return e-mail telling me they'd TRY to stop the order, but couldn't guarantee anything. Six days later I got another e-mail informing me that, in fact, they couldn't stop the order (in six DAYS!?!?) and that I could opt to just buy the second, duplicate item, by simply accepting it and not responding to thier e-mail (isn't negative-response ordering illegal?). I had to call them to confirm that I DIDN'T want the second item, even though I'd already told them that, and then go through the return process. It's been four weeks, and while they hace confirmed reciept of the returned item, they still haven't credited my account. The customer service I got was fairly polite but useless and canned.
