My Daphne does very well on this food. Been giving it to her for a year now, recommended by a well respected nutritionist out in Ca. She used to have seizures once in awhile but has had none to speak of. She loves the taste which isn't saying much since she loves ANY kind of food....she is an Italian GreyHOUND and know I know where they coined the term CHOWHOUND. LOL. Anyway, it's good food, healthy and you can really see the carrots and peas in it!

I feed the Duck and Turkey. My dogs love this food and do really well on it.

I'm using Instinct Duck & Turkey dry for my 4 dogs. They also get canned Instinct in all flavors as a topper. Sometimes, I use the raw medallions. I love this food and company! My dogs eat it up and are doing great! I am a believer in rotation feeding for dogs and I normally rotate between a few different companies brands, but I have decided to rotate foods from this brand alone. I plan on rotating the dry, with various can toppers. Then feed the raw sometimes, too. It's been working for my dogs!

Tried the wet rabbit formula, and my dogs loved it! I usually alternate my wet canned food with Innova EVO dry, and I really liked this one as it didn't have a really offensive odour like some wet or canned food does. Will definetly buy this again, as well as try some of the other meat sources available from this line.

This food is actually one of the best kibbles out there. I love the instinct line, except for the rabbit kibble, since it uses "fat" as a preservative. It has been discovered that added fat to dog food increases bloat and other issues. however the duck kibble is really great and has done well on my dog who has a very sensitive stomach in general. chicken is okay too, but maybe too much protein than duck. i think the duck kibble is the perfect compromise. i feed this along with dehydrated force dog food and embark dog food which isnt heat pressed so most of the nutrients are still intact. i recommend you check out that food alongside the instinct line. i think prairie is a little too much grain for my dog to tolerate.

I've use the dry rabbit formula which is considered an "exotic" meat so its great for pets with allgeries. its very palatable and my dogs enjoyed it. It was a bit more pricey then other dogs foods which is why I stopped feeding it, I've heard though that the brand has reccently lowered its prices due to the bad economy. even though the price is lowered they havn't changed the size of the bag, the formula or the quailty of the ingredients.

My 3 year old basenji has terrible allergies and this food has thus far had the best results. Although I have not tried all three flavors, she loves the duck and has done very well on it. In my research for finding top quality kibble dog food, I believe this brand is at the top with a few others. I highly recomend it.

One of the best dog food on the market in my opinion.

My dog knows when the can is cracked open, he's getting good food. Although mixed breeds are usually healthier, we rescued the one exception -- a 7 month old terrier mix with REALLY serious digestive problems! I have 3 Pekingese who eat rotate with the Instinct canned and frozen raw.

The ingredients look good, but my dog definitely doesn't like the taste. We mix other ingredients in with his food and with Instinct, he'd eat everything but the kibbles; he'd spit them out if he accidently got one in his mouth! The pet store I buy from said they get about a 25% return rate with Nature's Variety.

Update: I have used the Duck formula for awhile with my bostons and I have noticed their poop piles are pretty good size for such a good quality food. With the Chicken formula they had the sh*ts big time, will not use again. They do better on Innova Evo and the poop piles are way smaller.
