They are criminals. Do not use them! We signed a contract with them in May to move our furniture from Oklahoma to Texas. They sub-contracted us to a very bad company. It's been a nightmare. The company they subcontracted us to threatened to auction all of our stuff, extort us, and severely damaged virtually all of our furniture. Letter after letter after letter, Nationwide has NOT responded. We have an attorney and are moving forward. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

YOU CAN NOT TRUST THEM! This is the terrible service company which employs a bunch of liars. They failed to provide movers three times on scheduled moving dates. Finally it took about three weeks to be moved, only to find out that the “estimated” cost was much higher than originally quoted. After several months they still haven’t paid back the amount they overcharged.

Let me just start off saying I have moved many times in my lifetime being a military wife. I have NEVER had a more horrible experience than with Nationwide Moving Services. They should really not be in business. My belongings were scheduled to be delivered on June 29, 2010. I heard nothing from the at all the week between when my items were picked up and neither on June 29th when my items were supposed to be delivered. I called on June 29th 2010 and no one could tell me anything. They couldn't even locate the driver or tell me where exactly my belongings were. I was finally given a date of July 5th, which came and went, but I never received a call from Nationwide stating other wise. I had to call them and find out this information. Long story short...a total of 3 weeks passed, I would call everyday, and everday they would tell me they couldn't get in touch with the driver that had my belongings and had no clue where my thing were, if they were even stored or still on a truck. The drive... Read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Brian VanSlyke is a LIAR! He promised me that my things would be delivered within 3-5 business days at the latest, even though the company gives you a two week window. He said "In all my years of experience, it's never taken more than 5 days." It's been 3 weeks and I still don't have my stuff. I'm thinking about calling the police and reporting them stolen. Mr. VanSlyke assured me that there 9000 plus complaints with the Better Business Bureau were due to them moving so many people. I've recieved about 7 calls from other employess saying the date would be the 30th, then the 3rd, 5th,6th, 9th, 11th, 13th, and now the 15th. What a liar! This guy who claimed to be our contact the entire time has not returned my phone calls in 2 weeks. This company is hurting financially and they will do "WHATEVER" it takes to get your money. He claimed to be doing me a favor by overestimating my shipping w... Read more

This company had an employee make me a promise concerning payment for the extensive damage caused to our property during the move. That employee is no longer with the company, the subcontractor they used is out of business, and yet they refuse to honor that promise. Somehow they are the winners, we are the losers, and they claim there is "nothing they can do about it". Meanwhile, they lost a couch cushion, delivered the couch and mattresses wet and dirty, and scratched or broke multiple pieces of furniture. DO NOT use this company!

Hi all, I have faced lots of problem just because of Nationwide.Let me elaborate one by one 1)They never told you that they are brokers. 2)All are liers..We'll transfer your goods in same truck to your place. 3)At the time of delivery they gave the excuse like the truck failed so they god all my furniture in a big trailer in which almost 12 family furniture is there. 4)They lost my few crockery set and broke some. They broke my dining chair in front of me.They lost one dining chair. They broke all the handles to my bed room set. They broke the mirror and whats not... 5)Very rude...all are hell.Don't believe on LORI,BRANDY,SHERRY 6)They never take any responsibility after pickup. 7)All the time you need to call the driver. 8)Its a pathetic service. 9)They just promise that they do assembling and dismentaling as well. But the worst part is when they came for delivery their drivesr were not having screw drivers for assembling and didn't assemble my single thing.left everything like that. They gave me one bid and then after my stuff arrived they doubled the price! They called the day of my move 30 minutes prior to the time that they were suppossed to arrive and said they could not be there till the next day! When they picked up my stuff the guys acted like they spoke no english and did not say a word to me. They had me sign all this paperwork (which I read) when they first arrived and gave me copies. After all of my stuff was loaded in the truck one of the guys started writing stuff all over their copies and when I asked him what he was writing and if I could have a copy he said, "Oh, it for boss, no worries." Of course he was GUESStimatig that there was more stuff than the bid allowed. Thier customer service was awful and you get nothing but the run around. Worst of all they are a broker for actual moving companies so they dont care about you, your stuff, or your problems just as long as they get their portion up front. For the next few days before my stuff a... Read more

I had a very bad experience with Nationwide Moving Services. For some reasons I had to cancel my move with them and once I did that their whole attitude changes. Its been a week since I asked them to cancelled the move and I still didn't receive the refund. Everytime I call they give a different reason and delay it.

Nationwide Moving Services moved my family from Kansas to Maryland. I can honestly say this is the best service that we have received in our 4 times of moving. Thank you Stephanie and Nationwide!!
