I too have been looking for Mystic Mint cookies. When I was with a group living in China, many of us CRAVED them--requests for boxes were sent to families, and we all shared when someone got one. I finally found some that are even better. They're a seasonal item for the December holidays at Trader Joe's. If you have Trader Joe's in your area you can stock up in December. (I did but they only lasted 'til February!!) They're called Peppermint Joe Joes, and the only difference is that the mint center has tiny pieces of peppermint candy. Oh, and they are better quality...better chocolate used in the coating etc. Worth waiting for.

Mystic Mints - the BEST cookie Nabisco ever made. It was really idiotic of Nabisco to take them off the market. Shame on you Nabisco.

BRING BACK THOSE COOKIES! My dad used to by these when I was a kid and we loved them. They were the best cookie on the market and they still would be if they were around. I kept searching thinking maybe only certain stores were carrying them and then I discovered they were discontinued. Those Oreo cookies they tried replacing them with are not the same. Not even close in my book! Yes, I agree we need to start a petition!

I live overseas and the last time I was home in the States, I looked and looked for Mystic Mints. I didn't know until now that they were actually discontinued. I thought maybe it was a regional thing. I use to get them in southern California, and in New England. But when I was in Florida last summer, none of the grocery store clerks knew what I was talking about. Why isn't there a petition on www.thepetitionsite.com to send to Nabisco to bring these great cookies back? Maybe I will start one!

I am absolutely heart-broken to learn that my favorite cookies in the whole wide world was discontinued. I use to live in Washington State but moved to North Carolina for 10 years...North Carolina didn't have them (I thought it was a regional thing). But we have since moved back to Washington and that was the first thing I looked for at the grocery store and was perplexed why I couldn't find it...now I know...now I will go cry...BRING THEM BACK PLEASE!!!!!!

Obviously, you haven't enjoyed the discernable difference between the two. Mystic Mint Cookies have a richer and thicker dark chocolate coating along with more mint between the two minted crispier chocolate cookies. ABSOLUTLY no comparison!!! Especially frozen. BIG mistake Nabisco for mess'n with a product so tried and true. Also, try finding Wheat Hearts and Waffer Creams! Where'd they go?Tell Nabisco.com to BRING THEM BACK on their website.

Yes, the mint OREOs are not NEARLY as good as Mystic Mints!! We used to eat them on camping trips instead of smores, even! I mean, here's a story for ya: in college I had the world's nastiest roommates. I bought a box and opened it to share it with them. When I took a break to the ladies room, I came back to discover they had eaten them all just to spite me! Well, says a lot about them, but also says something about how good the Mystic Mints were! Why do companies keep taking great and tried-and-true products away, can anybody tell me?

Maybe it's its just me, but I don't think Mint Oreos and Mystic Mints taste the same. They are similar styles (mint cookies in a chocolate coating), but Mystic Mints has a better texture in my opinion. It seems like better ingredients are used in Mystic Mints.

I have loved your Mysitc Mint cookies and bought them for years. Even when their price increased I would savour every bite. Why in the world would you take them off the market, unless you are hoping that the poor saps like me who are addicted would buy them by the gross, if you ever brought them back, because I would be afraid that you would arbitrarily take them away again. This cookie was one of the few pleasures that I allow myself, thanks so much for taking that away!

The best cookie nabisco made & they discontinued it? Now we & everyone else buy the competitions version, which isn't as good. Who was the moron[s] at Nabisco who made this brilliant decision? As the Donald would say "You're Fired!"

What was Nabisco thinking!!! I LOVED those cookies and now you can not e4ven find them anymore. The oreo version is not the same and should not have been produced when they had a perfectly wonderful chocolate covered mint cookie. Have they stopped making them are are there still some out there floating around.

The best cookie ever! I cannot find them at my local Kroger grocery store. Are they no longer made? This would be sad.

My husband & I first discovered Mystic Mints on our honeymoon. We got them at a small market in the redwood forest and enjoyed them in our tent. For the past 26 years they have been an anniversary tradition for us. We're quite disappointed that we can't find the originals anymore. There's something special about that mystical name :-) At least we can substitute the fudge mint Oreos.

Wow, Mystic Mints are truly delectable! Basically, they're mint-flavored Oreo cookies dipped in a dark chocolate coating. The mint flavor is not overpowering, and the chocolate cookie layer is crisp and tasty. The outer coating of chocolate is just thick enough, and it has a rich, smooth taste. Mystic Mints are so satisfying, I don't feel compelled to eat more than one at a sitting. If you like the combination of chocolate and mint, you'll love these cookies- guaranteed.
