Could have been one of the great movies of all time, but it was ruined by Audrey Hepburn lip-syncing to Marni Nixon.

Hey! Heres a hint...it's a musical. That is why it has songs. A huge and beautiful production with Audrey Hepburn as one of the stars. Best seen on the big screen.

A great movie. Audrey Hepburn was good as Eliza Doolittle a flower girl who meets Henry Higgins a prefessor of language. Higgins boasts he could even teach a "flower girl" to act and speak proper. Eliza ends up staying with Higgins while he teaches her to speak and be a proper lady.Rex harrison is also good as the arrogant Higgins. Who by the end of the movie has grown to care for Eliza.{ even though I question why Eliza would want to go back to Higgins} Lots of good songs. Just a charming story that came from the Book Pygmalion.which had a different ending. The scene at the horse race was especially amusing.

Interesting plot. Some very nice music (not all songs, though, some I skip over, I admit). But "I could have danced all night", "Send me to the church in time", "With a little bit of luck", "Ascott" are very nice, I listen to them very often. Eliza is very funny. The scene at the race, for instance, is hillarious.

Although the movie is nearly devoid of objectionable content (aside from the occasional profanity), there are two things that absolutely destroy the movie. First, the songs are extremely grating and annoying. Second, the sexism in this production is outrageous. No more is this obvious than the shockingly-inappropirate ending. The ending is completely different than the short story, Pygmmalion, that this 1964 movie is based on. I just can't recommend this production.

Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn are perfect in their roles as Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle, but the songs certainly drag the movie down. A lot of them are a bore to listen to but a couple are pretty good.

An excellent and endearing musical, it's a very sweet story. I personally don't go for "chick flicks" (I'd imagine this would fall under that category), but I still enjoyed it. The scene at the horse race was definately my favorite.

I must've seen this movie over 100 tiumes. It was my favorite movie as a child, and remains my favorite to this day. Audrey is amazing in this movie. Who would've thought that someone as classy and flawless as Audrey would make such a great Eliza Doolittle? As much as I love Julie Andrews, I think Audrey was perfect for the screen version of this classic.

Audrey Hepburn is my idol. This is a 6 star movie. Everything about it is fabulous. Rex Harrison was made for the part, as was Audrey. I'm upset that the movie didn't win an oscar. I don't think that Julie Andrews was as good as Audrey Hepburn. The best movie!

The first half of this movie is excellent with its fun singing and great acting, but in my opinion takes a drop in quality in the second reel.

Audrey Hepburn, what else do I have to say? Great music. My Fair Lady addresses an important topic->social classes. The costumes were beautiful.
