Tue Oct 17 2006The first album by my favorite group-still holds up 41 years later.

Thu Feb 09 2006Very solid debut, if not truly outstanding. Nothing particularly bad about it at all, but the really, really great Byrds albums, IMO, are the 4 in a row from "5th Dimension" to "Sweetheart of the Rodeo," very few bands have had a streak of masterpieces in a row like that, and they should all be heard by all serious and historically mindful fans of rock music.

Sun Sep 25 2005This album should be much higher. It had great sound especially the bass guitar.

Mon Apr 11 2005Great debut from The Byrds. A hugely influencial album that ushered in the folk-rock genre.
