The first album by my favorite group-still holds up 41 years later.

Very solid debut, if not truly outstanding. Nothing particularly bad about it at all, but the really, really great Byrds albums, IMO, are the 4 in a row from "5th Dimension" to "Sweetheart of the Rodeo," very few bands have had a streak of masterpieces in a row like that, and they should all be heard by all serious and historically mindful fans of rock music.

This album should be much higher. It had great sound especially the bass guitar.

Great debut from The Byrds. A hugely influencial album that ushered in the folk-rock genre.
