Mr. Appliance is so much different that other service companies I've dealt with. It was refreshing that a real human being answered the phone and she was pleasant, professional and very helpful. The technician was also very professional - impressive that he brought and used his own door mat! I would highy recommend Mr. Appliance.

Called to have my oven fixed. The tech thought it was the igniter, put a new one on and it still didn't work. Told me it was the safety valve and to replace it with parts and labor would be over $300. I declined. Was going to buy a new stove, then decided to call Appliance Connection. Came out and took the stove completely apart. Turns out the valve was clogged. Cleaned it out and voila my oven works for less than half what Mr. Appliance was going to charge. Did not need new parts at all. The tech never even mentioned the valve could be clogged. Rip off big time.

My washer was not working, I called to set an apt. to have it fixed they where honest to tell me that it was going to cost me more to fix than buying one. Thanks for being honest most appliance shops would have went ahead and fixed it.

Mr. Appliance was a recommended shop to repair our 2 year old Thermador oven. An oven that should not have had any problems! Even though the double oven was no longer under warranty, Thermador agreed to send us the parts for free (no joke - almost $400 worth of parts). The labor to fix the oven was $207.74 - not the least expensive, but, we needed to go with a recommended Thermador repair shop. Both visits (once for the diagnosis, second for the repair) were very professional. I would recommend them!

I called Mr. Appliance when my icemaker stopped making ice. They came out early the next day and were able to diagnose the problem, had the part readily available and complete the repair very quickly. I've used Mr. Appliance on several occasions before and will continue to use them due to their great service.

I called with a dishwasher problem at the end of the day and they were able to schedule me for the following afternoon. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The work was done within 30 min. I did think the price was a little on the high side. All and all though, I was very satisfied with their service and will recommend them and use them again in the future.

Came home from work to find my refrigerator not cooling so called around and couldn't find anyone to come out right away. Called Mr Appliance Thursday morning at 8:15 and they had someone over by 10:15 am. The service tech, Richard, was very friendly and was able to complete the work then and there. I am definitely calling them when i need other work done!

My fridge wasn't cold. Called Mr Appliance, they were able to send someone out later that day. The tech called before coming, nice touch. The tech was friendly, helpful, and knew what he was doing. Gave me a quote ahead of time and fixed it. I would recommend Mr Appliance, they deliver what they say, and didn't waste my time(or money)

We had just come back from vacation to find our freezer on the fritz. Called Mr. Appliance and they were out the same day, gave me a quote and fixed it right then and there. The tech knew his business and was very friendly (and kinda cute:) I cant believe they warranty thier repair work for a year parts and labor. Ive had a lot of home service work done and ive NEVER heard of that. I wish more companies performed like MR APPLIANCE!!

This company charged $350 to fix the icemaker in my refrigerator. They used the wrong replacement part and the icemaker doesn't work correctly; it keeps randomly turning itself off, so I rarely have enough ice. They have been unresponsive to my attempts to have them correct the problem.

They came out and misdiagnosed my dishwasher as needed to be replaced. I paid the $79 fee to them. Then went and got a new dishwasher. Turns out when the it was being installed we discovered there was no power going to the outlet and the outlet was bad. The installers checked the old dishwasher and said it still worked. Wasted $400 bucks that I didn't need to spend plus the $79 for a bad diagnoses. The installation and delivery was $100 so if I wanted to return the old one I could only do as a trade and I would still lose the $100 bucks. Called Mr Appliance asked simply to be refunded the $79 and they have been avoiding me. I recommend avoiding them.

I called this company on Wednesday and they said they could be out by Friday between 12 and 5:30. I called them around 3:00 p.m. and the person answering the phone said that I was their next stop. When it was almost 5:00 p.m, I called and they told me that they called me around 1:00 p.m. and I did not answer my phone. I waited all day at my house and someone was not being truthful. No one called my cell phone, I checked my history and my caller id and I am 100% positive that no one called my number and besides they told me at 3:00 that I was next in line. I don't like to use companies that waste my time and it all seemed a little shady. I will not call them back.

Well, I gave them more than a fair amount of chances to right their wrongs. My broken icemaker on my Subzero has been serviced by their repairmen maybe 6-7 times, and STILL doesn't work. The guy they sent was very nice and personable, and seemed to know what he was doing, but after the third visit where he had replaced different parts, and reassured me that all was well, the problem persisted. I called and asked for another repairman who perhaps had more knowledge about SubZero brand, and was sent, with many assurances, a new technician. Same thing, replace parts, leave, problem still there. Comes back and says he has to order another part and that will do it. That's the last I ever heard from them, and the last I will ever call back. I was not charged, of course, for all the repeat visits - although there is the original charge which I may ask to be reimbursed for. But there was also the matter of loss of time - calling, making appointments, waiting during the time frame, and ... Read more

I had them come out to my house friday to fix an icemaker. The repair technician, Brian, spent about 20 minutes fiddling with it, told me it was fixed and start working soon, and then left. Later that day I had to call him back out there because it was still not working. He said he'd be back that afternoon. I waited around for him to show up, but he never came. Saturday I called into their office and spoke with a man named Charlie who told me that the earliest he could get me in was on wednesday, DESPITE their technician having fudged a job the previous day and then blown me off in the afternoon. After some discussion and some chiding, Charlie told me he could get me in on monday afternoon. SO I take off work (again) monday afternoon to wait for Mr. Appliance to show up. Nothing. I called their office and got no help there. Today I call again, and lo and behold, I'm scheduled for wednesday afternoon. Thanks alot Charlie. Now I have to take another day off of work and wait f... Read more
