WARNING!!!!!! NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!! the don't move you you. The quaote and get someone esle to move you, that you will never hear of or find in the yellow pages. THE WORST PEOPLE EVER!!!!!! All the people that said this was a great company must work for the company. The driver that picked my furniture up had a bunch of thugs with him that drunk my water and threw the trash in my yard. Damage my furniture and nickel and dime me the whole time. The price kept changing every two hours. Noone at the office would answer the phone. I was told my furniture would get to my new address in 10 days even though the contract said 14, try 20 days later my furniture shows up in a beat up truck with more thugs. They put my new white furniture on the ground (dirt) yard, I had to tell them to take it inside I paid too much money for my belonging to have them treated this way. So mgm needed a new pit boss so they called yours truly I will miss michigan city as I have lived there my whole life. But blue chip just cant stack up to the vegas strip. I had my house moved out here last month by this chicago moving company, Moving central. They did a fanominal job. The only beef I have is that it took like ten days to get here. I had my new place ready 3 days after they picked me up on november 11th and they took until the 20th. For a guy that works 12 hours a day I need exact times not approximates. Id use them again in a heart beat but I will be better prepared for the wait next time.

So I finally graduated med school! I just rented my first apartment too and I love it. However all my thing's were still at my parents house and all 130lbs of me could not lift my furniture so I hired movers. I called around and got 2 great prices but moving central's bbb rating sold me on them. I had a minimum load under 1400 lbs they said so I paid less then 1000 for the whole deal and I didn't have a dime more than that so its a good thing I paid what they promised. Either way My furniture arrived wed the 1st and I start my new life as a resident monday so wish me luck!

I have to start this one from the top. I grew up in Ohio in the sticks in a town of 100. I hated it. I set out to the city "Columbus" looking for the job that my 4 year degree was meant for. I wanted to work in high end clothes and besides the boutiques kept open by ball players wives there's no market. So I looked and found a job at GQ in Phoenix, Arizona awesome right? Wrong they wanted me out there in a week! So I looked around and priced 5 Chicago based moving companies and at least 2 from Ohio. At the end Moving central won they came in about $300.00 less than the franchise companies and packed all my things in boxes shrink wrap etc so I didn't have to touch a box. Oh and I stored my things with them for a week at no charge while I decided on my new condo to. The jobs great and they were a big part of my relocation thank you all.

I had to move to Atlanta for business. Granted its starting to get cold in New york where I live and love. But long distance move s always sucks the air fare, hotels, cable company and on and on. At least the moving service was on point. My quote was $1250.00 on the dot and that is all I paid. They gave me a time line when my furniture might be delivered they made it on day 6 "yesterday 11/29" 2 days after my paint was done so perfect timing. I will be calling them as soon as this club is running the way it should and I can go back to Manhattan.

I have moved from Moscow to the U.S. and back a few times and these Moving central guys are perfect at this job. I was picked up last week 11/20 and delivered yesterday 11/28. Going from the frigged Twin lakes wisconsin to Miami was the best decision I have made in years. These men showed up to my home in WI packed my things and loaded the truck in no time.Everything is fine then I find out they have to do other international moves on the way I was mad about it but I understand to make a profit they have to.I will call again in the future if and when I need help.

I recently moved from Los angeles and I was a little weary using a Chicago moving company but I was pleasantly surprised. They picked me up on October 31st and had me set up in my new place in Houston in 4 days they gave me a window of like ten days but told me to be ready. So I left California the day they picked me up I stayed in a hotel for long weekend and they showed up and set me up in my new town home in no time. They are going to be the first call I make if I ever move again for sure. Thank you, Aubrey

It is really that easy! From beginning to end, Moving Central was fantastic! They were friendly, efficient, fast and affordable. After recently dealing with another moving company, Moving Central was a breath of fresh air! They were flexible and kept me informed every step of the way. They were in and out quickly and very professional. Our move had several kinks in the road but your team willingly worked with us and made us feel very much at ease!! I've moved from Chicago to Los Angeles a few times before and each time was a nightmare: the $1100 estimate was $2100 by the end of the move, the movers were intimidating thugs... you just couldn't win, so the act of moving because something to be "dealt with" vs. "done." Moving Central has changed that completely. They come to our place in advance, they give you a written figure, and that's all that you pay. None of this "we charged you $100 extra to wrap your TV in a blanket" stuff -- it's all included. Their advance person was super-friendly and professional, and the moving guys were SO nice and very careful, even with things that didn't seem delicate or important. Moving Central was absolutely exceptional. From start to finish, our moving experience with Moving Central was absolutely exceptional. Every facet of the move was impeccably handled with ability, competence, and incredibly hard work (Our new apartment is a 6th floor walk-up.) They provided extra boxes and tape when we ran out, helped to pack what we hadn't finished before they arrived, and dismantled and reassembled several pieces of furniture. When we unexpectedly had a snag that caused us a 20 minute delay, James and his team took it in stride, handling the problem with grace and professionalism. I was very impressed with Moving Central & I recommend them to all friends and family.

Reliable, Efficient Movers This is definitely the best moving company I have ever worked with. We first had a consultation with a very friendly man named Ben. He came to our house and assessed how much it would cost to move all of our things to our new house. Afterwards, he gave us a quote and they stuck to it. The movers were super quick and helpful (I am 9 months pregnant), and handled everything very professionally. This is one great company!
