I reserved this moving company 10 days before my scheduled move. I initially spoke with Sherry who seemed very nice and was quick to reserve the day and assured me that I would be scheduled for an AM pick up. She was also quick to take a $100 deposit on my credit card. The following week (several days before my move) when I hadn't heard anything back, I called them. I called on three separate days within a week of the move and spoke with three different people who all assured me that the move was confirmed. Well, lo and behold, the day before the move at 2:30pm (less than 24 hrs before the scheduled move on a holiday weekend), I get a call from EMILY who informs me that they have to cancel the move because they simply don't have enough movers. I have moved quite a few times in the past few years and I have to say, I have never experienced such professionalism during a move. The guys personable and professional, they took my bed apart and put it back together, gave me boxes and tape when I ran out, and treated my electronics with more care than I do. They were courteous to my new neighbors, dealt with the parking, and didn't comment about all of the stairs!

They put pads on the floors so they weren't tracking dirt in every trip in or out of the house, they wrapped all of the furniture to help protect it, and the guys were really nice. I have a business too and have referred them to several of my customers, and every one of them has been very pleased. They apparently do commercial moves as well as residential, I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been ripped off before with other movers who have cheaper estimates, and then later they add on other charges for extra boxes, tapes & hourly time. A friend recommended the company to me and I couldn't be happier for choosing Movers in Long Beach. The price is fixed before the move based on what you are packing (no cheating because they will charge you for the things you didn't mention you were packing). So my advice is that you tell them exactly what you want moved & the price is reasonable. All my valuables were packed carefully, the movers friendly & professional. Can't thank them enough for this fabulous move. By the way I moved from a two bedroom apt to my new apt where they unpack my things for me.

Guys did a great job. I called them last minute because my original moving company did not have a certificate of insurance .They came within an hour and were able to provide insurance to my builging. They do have an insurance and they do have a licence.Check their website they have all their licences #s there.‎

Moving is one of my very least favorite things on the planet, but Movers in Long Beach and the people I dealt with in particular made it much less stressful. I whole heartedly recommend them.

From start to finish, our moving experience with Movers in Long Beach was absolutely exceptional. Every facet of the move was impeccably handled with ability, competence, and incredibly hard work (Our new apartment is a 6th floor walk-up.) They provided extra boxes and tape when we ran out, helped to pack what we hadn't finished before they arrived, and dismantled and reassembled several pieces of furniture. When we unexpectedly had a snag that caused us a 20 minute delay, Ivan and his team took it in stride, handling the problem with grace and professionalism. I was very impressed with Movers in Long Beach & I recommend them to all friends and family.

When I initially phoned for a quote, I spole to a representative named Sam. He was courteous and knew exactly what he was doing. Due to unforseen circumstances, the move date had to be rescheduled. Again, I called Sam and he confirmed there would be no problem. The day prior to the actual move I received a call from Movers in Long Beach to ensure we were on the same schedule. I appreciated the extra care immensely. The day of the move two of Movers in Long Beach men arrived right on time and ready to work. Those two men were fast, polite, professional, and very careful. They never slowed down and took great care with our items. I will definitely recommend Movers in Long Beach to any person that finds they need to move. Long Beach Moving moved our family about a month ago. The four gentlemen that moved us were prompt, courteous, extremely professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business with them and with Long Beach Moving. Since our things were put in storage in anticipation of a move to a permanent residence within the next few months, my wife and I will definitely call Long Beach Moving to move u again.

These guys really made us happy my wife especially. they came in and packed up everything and did a good job at that and the delivery was the biggest hurdle because my wife wanted our thingsd within 2 days and even though we were told that it would be between 2 and 7 days they made it there 2 days later which made her a true believer. The move was a success and we recommend anyone to them.

just recieved my internship at a hospital and was moving to Mississippi and needed a reputable company to do that move for me and had been referred to Movers in Long Beach by a friend who had used them in the past and had a good experience with them. I was moving out of a 2 bedroom apartment and had gone over a full inventory list online and was contacted by Christopher River to go over my quote and he was very helpful and walked me through every aspect and told me what to prepare for, how to avoid potential fees etc.... The movers themselves were outstanding, Jake and Michael were really, really friendly and just plain out great at what they did which was very refreshing. I was so worried about moving and really had no idea what to expect, these guys were so nice and understanding and I would certainly recommend them to friends, co workers, or relatives.

My items arrived yesterday the 27th the day after Thanksgiving and the movers actually came on Thanksgiving evening and it really made me think how hard of a job moving and trucking is. The next morning we fed the guys some home cooking and they were like amazed that we invited them in for food. With that out of the way, everyone was so great to work with all the way down the chain. Eric explained everything to us in understandable terms and advised us of any additional fees that could be charged and how to steer away from them. The quoted price was 4900.00 and the ending balance wound up being 5120.00 for additional weight. we requested delivery on the 27th although we understood it could be after that because they told us that delivery dates were not guaranteed but they would do their best. They did show up on the 27th and we were thankful for that and the move couldn't have gone better. Good luck in the future and I hope everybody had a great holiday adn lots to be thankful for.

me and my wife and children got stuck by 2 moving companies this weekend and were in dire straits when we contacted Movers in Long Beach and very skeptical when they told us they actually had a unit in our area that could pick our household goods up on the next morning. their price was higher than the other 2 companies and they explained that was the reason that the other companies never showed up and one never even called to apologize or explain why. the movers did in fact show up the next morning early and loaded everything onto a truck and were off. we were contacted this morning by josh to tell us that our price was a little lower than the first estimated quote only by 45 dollars but it is better than owing the more money. also the men that moved us were very good and although we were not delivered yet we think everything will be good and will update this review once all is delievered sometime this week. so far it was a very honest and easy service and i hope the rest goes this way... Movers in Long Beach set up our move from cali to new york and our delivery was early last week and I was asked whether or not I could post a review here breaking down our move. These guys have done 6 or 7 corporate moves for our company and the other moves went very well and we use several other vendors for corporate moves and we chose them for our move. Our move was not so simple because there were a few hurdles involved, first, the storage unit we had our belongings in was off the beaten path and their semi could not get anywhere near the unit so they had to park it outside of the facility and rent a smaller truck from the storage company which was a real pain because it took them 8 hours to pack our boxes, load the smaller truck and then unload into the semi, this process was very backbreaking for the crew. The time estimate over e-mail was 5-7 hours for 3 people to move our 2BR Three big dudes showed up on time Friday morning, somehow magically squeezed our furniture out through our tiny tunnel-home door, and were driving away 90 minutes later. Then all our stuff was moved in, and they were driving away to their next job two hours later. Total time: 3.5 hours! Actually, one of the dudes wasn't that big (I might have been about his height). But he could have probably kicked my azz with two hands tied behind his back. These guys are awesome; I'll be calling them again for my next move. the main reason I went with Movers in Long Beach is because they do conduct business online. I work in an "open" office and do not need all my coworkers listening in on my bidness.Movers in Long Beach has an e-mail address, and they do use it.
