As steak lovers, we chose Morton's for our anniversary dinner. We normally would have chosen Ruth Chris or Mastro's. While the meal was satisfying it was a bit pricey and not very memorable. My steak was well cooked but the sides were nothing exciting. I also expected more from the interior of the restaurant. I appreciate the tableside menu reading but could have done without it. Just give me the menu and let me choose!

In celebration of my fiance and my first child, I decided to take her and four friends out for steaks. Unfortunately, I picked Morton's. Although the service was prompt, the place was extremely noisey and I could hardly hear the waitress telling us about the menue despite the fact that she was practically yelling it into my ear. I felt that I was in an overcrowded college bar on a Friday night after finals. When my steak arrived it was cooked medium as I requested, however it was heavily chared and resembled a large piece of burnt toast. I had two laborous bites and then settled for a meal of sides. Outback, they are not even in your league.

This was at the Biltmore location, right next to the Ritz Carlton Hotel. This was our first and probably last visit. It was the worste Rib Eye I've had in years. I must have gotten a bad cut or something. I ate only 2 or 3 bites. Fortunately, they took it off the bill. My wife had the filet. To be honest, it was pretty mediocre too. The salads were great. The ambiance was a bit stuffy. The wine was good and the service was excellent. Even with my steak taken off the bill, total tab come to nearly $150 for two. It was not a dining experience that would like to repeat at half the price.

Restaurant's not as good as they claim. Steak was average at best, but people say they like it because of the price. Go here if you want to impress people, not if you want a good meal.

Scottsdale Morton's is the best in Morton's chain. I've been in Chicago, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vancouver, etc. and no one is as classy as Scottsdale's. Steaks and side dishes are wonderfull (I reccomend Rib-eye and spinach ala cremme or garlic mashed potatoes). The atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated, not the bussineslike scene as in other cities. It's a pleasure to have dinner and enjoy a good time at Morton's. Pricey, but it worth it!!!!

classic upscale steak house. very stuffy club room type. traditional. fusions or anything too exciting. just the regular steak house stuff but top of the line ingredients...but i still prefer Ruths Chris with their sizzling butter plates

I have never had a greater ribeye than at the Morton's Steakhouse in Scottsdale, Arizona. I took my boyfriend for his birthday last year. We are huge steak eaters, have been all over the valley looking for great steakhouses and have found the top one. Morton's! We will continue to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or even weekends there! My steak was huge, I had to finish it it was too good to waste! I would reccommend to anyone & everyone! Great, great, great! It's a 10+!

Spent Christmas with a friend in Phoenix. In lieu of gifts, we usually enjoy a good meal and good friendship - one of life's best gifts. Had Christmas Eve dinner at Morton's and as is true with other Morton's around the country, the Phoenix outlet didn't disappoint. Filets were thick, juicy and perfectly cooked. Split sides and the tomato and mozzerella salad. All salads and sides are big enough for two. The wine list is expansive and nicely varied - prices are as well. Clubby and warm, the ambience at the Phoenix restaurant is just as welcome as the other Morton's. Service is friendly, funny and knowledgeable. My friend and I always skip dessert and have a Key Lime Martini instead. Yummmmm. Try this place ~ you won't be disappointed.

Morton's has a lovely atmosphere nice & not to snooty. The staff is wonderful & seem to like to work there. Their porterhouse was absolutely fabulous. Everything was Great! Would without a doubt enjoy to dine there again. Also, one of the captain's there is very handsome & sexy & will alway's aim to please!!!! Delicious.....

My husband And I thought the 2 filet mignons for $80.00 was a real bargain. You not only get the two juicy tender steaks, you each have a choice of shrimp alexender or the crabcake to accompany the beef. You start with the Morton's salad or ceasar salad for eachof you. You have a choice of one potato & one vegetable per couple. Then dessert is included...godiva cake or cheesecake for each... and coffee or tea. We are returning next weekend because this is too good!! Service was impeccable, as always.

Best steak in town, hands down. Try a 3 1/2 pound lobster for an appetizer before the main course. You'll be glad you did.

For steak around the world there is only one, Mortons. I have eaten at most all of the greats and this one is still number 1.

I disagree. It starts when the waiter displays steaks in plastic wrap. PPLLEEAASSEE. I think most educated people know the difference between a filet and a NT strip. Tables are way to close together. Their multiplier on wine is GREED. Give me Mastro's its clearly the best steak house in OPhoenix area

With the sole exception of Ruth's Chris, Morton's of Chicago is the best steakhouse I've frequented. The experience begins with the presentation of the cuts of meat that are available on the menu. When the establishment is not afraid to show you what they are actually serving, that means they are not hiding anything. The sides and salads are also wonderful, and the service is superb.

Excellent service, top-notch food, and cozy seating. Big fat shrimp and scallops, melt-in-your-mouth rare (oh wait, that's just the way I like them!) steaks. Definitely one of my favorite places to take a date. Forget the naysayers and JUST DO IT! p.s. If you like your food overcooked and over seasoned, go to Sizzler.

This place just sucked. My steak was cold 1 minute after it hit the table. 2 of us spent 230.00 for a sub par meal. I should have known better than to venture from Ruths.

Our service was great! I haven't been to Morton's in a long time, I don't remember their steaks being so good. My filet and the sides were wonderful. All the staff took great care of us.

On my last visit, when orderring I informed the waiter that I loved their mushrooms and even inquired how they were prepared. I orderred two servings for our table. When our steaks arrived, there were no mushrooms. I inquired if they were coming and was informed they would be right up. 15 minutes later after our steaks had been half eaten or cooled as I had waited, the mushrooms arrived. The waiter came and informed us that he forgot to place the order and stated, "My Bad". I guess 15 minutes was the rule for this server, as our desert followed 15 minutes behind our after dinner coffee and it was difficult to get these coffees refilled. I have had much better experiences at the Morton's in Scottsdale and would return to that location in the future.

Being from the Midwest I'm use to having some of THE BEST beef. It took awhile for me to find it down here but I did. Midwesterners look no farther - Morton's of Chicago is your place.

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening here. Cocktails as we waited were yummy, and the food was unbelievable. Very attentive service--you feel important being so pampered. Charles Barkeley was at a nearby table, so we definitely felt like we were in a 5-star environment!

Awesome very rare new york strip, broiled to perfection, black on the out side, cold inside.
