Morgan Freeman

Freeman has been a great actor from the word go ,i dont just understand why sometimes the hollywood ignores such people for a long time.Their has been always great perfomance from him .check out the latest movie when he teams up with mat damon.INVICTUS.

Everyone Loves His Voice! he is a fantastic actor and can play any role perfectly.

I think he's at the same place that Michael Caine was in the 1980's taking everything that is offered to him, which has meant there are some pretty spotty films on his resume. But he acquits himself in every one of those. When he is in a choice vehicle, like Million Dollar Baby he has the power to elevate even a quality film to a higher level.

When Morgan Freeman played God, a lot of people freaked out. I rejoiced. How awesome would it be if God really was a bit like Morgan Freeman? The deep but soft voice. The sweet crinkly eyes. I just love him. The Bucket List was my favorite film of his yet. He is so endearing. Someone I just want to hug.

He's a total bore.  Always plays the same character in film after film: the noble, stolid, dignified, sexless, totally unrealistic "good blackie."  Runs his lines with the same emotional valence, irrespective of what the scene calls for.

I like Morgan but he isn't very versatile with his roles he's always playing the same person in almost every movie but he's an overall good actor.

One of the very few stars that doesn't give less than a stellar performance in any movie he's in. Shawshank, Miss Daisy, you name it. I found it funny though when someone told me that almost every character he's played is helping a white person. But hey, this man is top notch, one of the 5 best actors by far.

Great, great actor in everythng i've seen him in. He seems to draw you in somehow. Can play basically any character he is given superbly.

He's done alot of great work, but he is responsible for my favorite take on God in Bruce Almighty.

Watching Freeman makes you feel wiser somehow. There's just something about him. That alone earns him 5 stars.

Morgan Freeman is undoubtedly a great actor whose mere presence can literally legitimize ANY movie. In looking at his career, however, anyone who can appreciate acting can appreciate his ability to play all kinds of characters. From his days as the Easy Reader on 'Electric Company' to his portrayal as fatherly-figure Sgt. Major John Rawlins, of the 54th Massachusetts Regiment in 'Glory', and anything within and beyond- Freeman is the epitomy of great acting.

Morgan Freeman is a serious actor who is long overdue for an Oscar. He has gravitas, that quality which exudes confidence and weight. When he's onscreen I am drawn right into his character. "Seven" was one of my favorites (he put Brad Pitt in the shade in that one) but Shawshank and Driving Miss Daisy were excellent. Actually, I've seen every movie he ever made, and there isn't a bad performance in any of them. If someone says they don't like Morgan Freeman then one has to wonder what sort of movies they DO like. If a movie critic is excited by "Dumb and Dumber" kind of movies they might not appreciate Morgan Freeman but any real movie buff will know what a powerhouse talent Freeman is.

He can play just about any role and do it extremely well. I especially loved him cast as Alex Cross. It's about time he won an Academy Award. It's long overdue IMO...

Have loved him since he played Easy Reader on the Electric Company. His performance in Shawshank Redemption is one of my all-time favorites. It was nice to see him finally get the Oscar that he deserved for Shawshank, Driving Miss Daisy, Street Smart, and Glory.

a bit overrated i think. probably the best role i have seen him in was Sum of All Fears, a good movie not recognized by the masses.

I've never understood why he doesn't receives greater kudos. He can do quiet desperation and the wise man to perfection. Morgan can also draw wit from out of nowhere.

One of the best ever!! Superb in Shawshank and Glory. And you've got to love the job he did in Nurse Betty.

a great actor I have enjoyed seeing him in many movies. He was great in Shawshank Redemption, Driving Miss Daisy.He also has a good narrative voice. I am looking forward to Renting Million Dollar Baby. Iheard he was good in this movie.Quite the versatile actor.
