I contacted Chris about a leak that I was having in a rental property. He was prompt to schedule the appointment and called me right after the appointment with the results. Even though the issue was not plumbing related he gave me several suggestions and a vendor that can help me remedy the problem. I called on Sunday evening and by Monday morning Lane was sent out to fix the problem. Not only was he done in a less than a half hour, he was incredible friendly and helpful. They were very good about communicating what time they would arrive, and did the job promptly. The service technician, Lane, was very careful not to damage any of the landscaping outside, surrounding the spigot he needed to replace. The plants appreciated his efforts!

Chris Mock was quick to respond to my service needs by phone and in-house service. He arrived and finished as he said. He and his assistant were very professional in their craft and explained thoroughly about the repair plan. The service call was completed in a timely manner and with ONE visit. I needed a gas pressure test performed on the house I just moved into, and upon calling all of the plumbing companies that were listed online in the Baton Rouge area, decided to go with mock plumbing for two reasons: They charged over 100 dollars less than the average plumbing company and offered to fix any minor leaks they found at no extra charge. Brandon and Lane showed up fifteen minutes early for our appointment and went straight to work. Within minutes they had located a faulty valve and before I knew it, it had been replaced. Unfortunately, when the inspector came my lines still weren't holding pressure. However, Brandon and Lane showed up the next day without being called to fix the leak. This time, the leak required a part that they didn't have on hand and some work in a tight space near my air conditioning unit. Mock plumbing was fast, affordable, and courteous. After speaking to Mr. Mock on the phone about my water heater issue, he gave me an upfront estimate and encouraged me to shop around for others. I did so and found his in line with other companies. Once we agreed that he take care of the job, a plumber was at my house within an hour. After diagnosing my problem, Chris and Brandon surmised that I might not need an entirely new water heater. They replaced only the defective parts. Because of this, I spent about $300 instead of $900 (I had purchased a new water heater that I returned). They could have easily just done the work that I called them for and made extra money, but they didn't. The work that Brandon did was quick, effective, and always courteous. I would (and do) recommend Mock Plumbing to all my friends and clients.

I've called Mock Plumbing on two different occasions now, and there's no question that if I ever need any plumbing services in the future I will be calling again. Chris and his associates are professional, honest, and perform excellent work. I highly recommend Mock Plumbing!

I called Mock Plumbing in the morning and after telling them what the problem was they gave me an estimate of the cost based on usual conditions. They came out in less than 3 hours and went to work. The men were very polite and took time to explain what they found and what they were going to do. The cost was exactly as they had said and was a fair price for the work performed. I was very happy to have found a plumber who was honest, reasonable and professional. I highly recommend them.

Chris Mock and his crew came in and replaced an entire shower enclosure for us. To achieve this, 2 door frames had to be removed and lots of extra carpentry work had to be done. Chris patiently put the door frames back up with the help of his co-worker (who does carpentry work). We decided to take our wallpaper off in the bathroom and Chris was able to tell us what was needed to get the walls ready to paint. He and his guys sanded the walls and textured them also. Chris brought in a painter who was meticulus and did an excellent job. He replaced the shower and fixtures and the our new bathroom looks AWESOME! Chris went way beyond his scope of pluming for us and made it look brand new. Thank you Chris!!! I would recommend this company to everyone!!

Chris is highly professional - don't let his relaxed approach fool you, he's extremely knowledgable when it comes to plumbing issues. I found a damp spot in my carpet, and it turned out to be a slab leak... I didn't realize how common they were around Baton Rouge. Chris responded immediately, and even stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to look at the situation - no charge. He arranged for the leak detector to come out and went out of his way to be here for the appointment. Again, no charge. The next day he gave me a quote - which was a range due to the complex nature of the problem and lack of certainty which of several pipes was leaking (they were crossed under the slab - which we never could have known had Chris not insisted on the leak detector). I have a rent house that was having drainage problems. Water was backing up into the shower and tub. I Googled "Baton Rouge Plumbers" and ran across Mock Plumbing Repairs. I noticed that all of the reviews were positive, so decided to give them a shot. I called and spoke to Chris Mock. He was polite and friendly and said he'd try to get someone there to check it out that day, which he did. They came and ran a "snake" through the pipes and found a hole in the main drain line clogged with roots. Chris gave me an estimate and I authorized him to do the work. Early the next morning he called to tell me they had already completed the job. He then sent me photos of the job site from his phone, showing the gaping hole in the old drain! 5 stars Recently my wife and I took on a remodel project for a home we would live in. Time was of an essence and I had planned all along to finish the plumbing myself. I ran out of time and money on the project and called Mock plumbing to give me a price to finish. He came out that same day and started the next and even went way beyond our expectations to insure quality and satisfaction. They saved us a lot of money considering what all he did for us. Someone could have easily come in and charged us twice as much due to the time frame we needed it done and taken advantage of us. He did what he said he was going to do and did it when he said it would be done for the price he promised. He did not nickel and dime us to death. On a Friday night I broke the pipe from the hose going into the house. I was able to cut the water off and immediately started calling plumbers in the Baton Rouge area. Mock Plumbing gave me a fair estimate on the work (lower than anyone else) and were out at the house the next morning. He offered to come that same night but was even honest in saying it would be less expensive to wait if it wasn't an emergency to get it fixed right away. I had a leaking waterline in my slab and called a plumber recommended by my warranty company, they charged me $200 to say "yep, it’s leaking!" feeling taken advantage I researched other companies and Mock Plumbing was the most professional and courteous. Mock Plumbing was extremely friendly, professional and they responded to our needs in a timely manner. I researched four other plumbing companies in our area and none can compete with the courtesy and value offered by Chris and his team. I have owned my OLD condo for about five years now. Over those five years, I have repeatedly had plumbing problems so I've seen my fair share of plumbers. Mock Plumbing goes above and beyond any other plumbers that I have ever worked with! Chris works quickly, efficiently, is personable, and has GREAT rates! When I was told that I would need a whole new faucet, he offered to go purchase it for me (seriously?) or I could go purchase it myself and he would install it for me for $50. I couldn't have been more happy with Chris' work and have every intention of using Mock Plumbing from now on.

So, I called Mock Plumbing based on a really positive review I saw online somewhere, and I'm really happy with the work they did. I called on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving), and I'm sure most plumbers were either closed or were charging Holiday rates that day since it's kind of a Holiday. Chris Mock told me he would be out in half an hour to an hour, and showed up exactly 30 minutes later. How often does that happen? He fixed the problem with my garbage disposal, and since he only had to adjust a pipe, didn't even charge me for it. He came back later with some specific parts and fixed my other non-pressing issues: a slowly draining bathtub and some bathtub faucets that didn't work quite right. I was very happy with Chris, the work he did, and the final price for everything. I would highly recommend him to anyone, and I'll call him next time I need some plumbing work done.

Chris Mock is an excellent plumber. He diagnosed a leak with our toilet and sink drain and repaired both in a timely fashion. I found him to be honest and forthcoming regarding different options for repairs, and he made a sensible recommendation for solving our problems. I missed Chris Mock's website when googling for a BR plumber, and hired someone else for an estimate which would have resulted in a $300 fee to change out the jets in my Jacuzzi tub because the water pressure was coming from only one jet suddenly. I did not allow them to do the work. I made a decision to call someone else, and in googling again, located Mock Plumbing. He came over and adjusted the jacuzzi jets to where all are again working perfectly by just pulling the non-working ones out. The housekeeper had inadvertently pushed a few of them in while cleaning. He wasn't going to charge a fee because it only took him 1 minute to discover the problem, but I gave him a nice tip for coming over the same day. I read people well, and felt he was honest and fair from the start. I will keep his card and call on him whenever needed and will highly recommend him to everyone I know.‎ Rena
