Was OK reserve for Celtics for couple of seasons but his minutes dropped every year, but was still known as the spiritual leader on the team. As a Laker fan, you couldn't help but be annoyed by Carr, as the team's towel waving cheerleader on the bench who did nothing but mock the Lakers during the 84 and 85 Finals, which included wearing goggles in game 7 of the 84 finals to mock Kareem. And then would always come up with excuses or would never give the Lakers credit when they won. One glaring example being after Game Two of the 85 Finals which the Lakers won in Boston after being blowin out in game one. He said something to the effect that the Lakers had won game two after being mad of everything they read in the media in game one and thus saying if their had been a newspaper strike in Boston at the time, the Celtics would have won game two!
