Mission Maids

I called around and Mission Maids were one of the cheaper companies. I also liked the fact that I get the same crew each month and I can pick and choose what they do so I can keep the cost down since they charge by the hour. The maids are reliable and friendly and work hard. I have recommended to a few friends who have had similar experiences.

We had another selected to do our post construction cleaning. They flaked that day. We were moving in the following day. Mission Maids were able to come out the same day, stayed until 9pm and did a fantastic job. it would been a disaster if we had not found them, The maids were great, real pros, they did a great job and Mission Maids hourly rate was less than the other company as well.

Flexible and helpful, maids speak good english and we get the same crew each time. Maids do go work and are always on time.

out of all the real cleaning companies Mission Maids had the lowest rates. Plus we could pick and chose what areas of our apartment we needed cleaning. I like their flexibility and willingness to work with us to keep the price down.

We waited for 2 hours for them to come between the 10am-12 slot we'd been told they were scheduled to come. At 1pm, I had to leave, so I left my husband with a list of things for them to do. At 2:30, they finally showed up. They did most things on the list (not all, and definitely nothing beyond it) and then took off, leaving behind a bag of garbage in the hallway and some cleaning supplies. It was good work, but they came late and left some things around. I'd consider using them again, but would want a time slot guarantee (and maybe a phone # to call if they're late?) and be firmer with the walk-through.

I was hoping this would work out as they are quick to show up and make appointments, and it seemed pretty convenient... However, the reason i used them is bc my regular cleaning lady was on vacation. Compared to her, i was beyond disappointed. It felt like I had just had cheap motel maids in my home, and it smelled like it too. They did a half effort job on my bathtub, which still need some work, rearranged a few items in my kitchen and bathroom and did not even wash the ONE dish that I had left in the sink. I have a normal sized 2 bedroom apt and they wanted $116 for 2 people, which I was willing to pay but it had to be an outstanding job, esp bc there are two people! Needless to say I wont be using them again, and can't wait for my regular lady to come back.

We had some ceiling work done in our home and for some reason the contractor did not block off the area they were working on. Came home from work, it looked like it had snowed in our house. Mission Maids came out first thing the following morning and cleaned everything. We have many delicate things in our home, nothing was broken. Very happy with the service, Mission Maids was cheaper than their comp as well.

We have used Mission Maids on and off for a number of years. They always do a thorough job, the teams are prompt, hard working and friendly. We have recommended to a number of friends, all who have commented they received similar service

We had a large project, 150 units in Los Angeles. Our original cleaner was not able to handle the volume and we brought Mission Maids as a backup. Well within a day we had fired our first option and gave the project to Mission Maids. They had more crews, who worked faster and did a better job. We will be using on our next project.

My quote was for 2 maids @ $32/hr who would need between 2-3 hours to do a move out cleaning on our 3 bdr house. Cost would range from $128 to $192. Actual charge to my credit card was $240, and no receipt was provided, nor can one be obtained. Actually 3 "maids" showed up, not 2. They worked hard and fast for 2 1/4 hours and then split without leaving an invoice or receipt. When I discovered my credit card had been charged $240, I inquired and was told, "You were charged an introductory weekend rate of $32 per hour per maid. 2 maids were at you’re your for 3.75 hours for a total bill of $240". That was simply not true. When I argued, the guy simply told me he would look into it and get back to me. Never did. I emailed and asked for a receipt of some kind. Never got one. Just checked reviews on Yelp! and it appears many others have been duped just like me.

I contacted Mission Maids after reading they were the Best of Citysearch 2007. They have done a great job - our apartment is immaculate. Granted it's taken them a while but we have a big place. Two people came and it took 4hrs for a deep clean of a 2500ft apt for a total of $202 - not bad for a once-a-year deep clean. I'll hire them again definitely.

We are on a budget. Mission Maids will cater to your budget by allowing us to pick and chose what we need cleaned in our apt. This allows us to keep the cost down. Other companies we used in the past forces us to do an initial deep cleaning which was far too expensive for us. They send the same maids who are always on time.

They were able to come out the same day, we had a pipe burst. They were able to work around the plumber and by 4pm our house had been put back together. Highly recommended

I have had trouble with other companies not showing up on time. Mission maids are always prompt and do a thorough job. I like the fact that we can vary the cleanings each time based on our needs and available budget. I researched several of their competitors and Mission maids was the least expensive.

We live at the northern end of Malibu and Mission Maids was the only company I could find that was willing to come out to our home. The added bonus was their pricing was less than most and so far they have done a great job we have been using them for 4 months now. The maids come out once a week and we always get the same girls. I asked one of the managers about their negative reviews and she stated that they everything they can to make customers happy, however being a maid service some customers can be unreasonable with cost and quality expectations plus being quite rude. Mission Maids has policy of not letting their employees being verbally abused by rude customers. They seem to treat their folks better than the other companies we used when we lived in LA.

The first time they were great. As was the second and third time... and then the service started to crash and burn. They missed an appointment and I had guests that night. The apologies were profuse. They started to skimp on the dusting and cleaning, nothing major, so not worth complaining about. (They no longer dusted shelves or moved objects but simply dusted around them and unplugged my TV for some unknown reason.) Then they cleaned some stuff with the wrong solution leaving marks on my furniture. Someone had to come out and fix it and the note they left behind was very rude. Apparently streaks and marks weren't important. Then the last straw came when the supposedly same crew I had had for months came and cleaned items that I had specifically asked not to be touched since the very first time and every other time I had used the service. Used them several times. Always are on time and do a good job. I like the fact they are not a franchise and that they screen their maids.

We have used several services and not really been happy. Other companies show up late, change teams which is frustrating since we have to re-train the maids. Mission Maids always sends out the same folks each trip. Our maids speak great english, they are professionals and I like the fact they have been with the company since 1997. It seems they have almost zero turnover in their staff. We have been helped by the same 2 managers for almost 6 yrs. They are very flexible and will always do anything asked. Highly recommended.

Great job, were able to come out the following the day. I like the fact that the customer gets to pick and chose how long the maids stay and what they do. Mission maids is really flexible and their staff is professional.

We have had problems in the past with other cleaning services. Mission Maids is one of few cleaning companies in Los Angeles that has an A rating from the Better Biz Bureau. They have been great, ontime, nothing ever goes missing and they speak ENGLISH!!!!

I needed a monthy cleaning service since my original maid was not available. Since Mission Maids got great reviews, I decided to give them a try. I called them and they quoted me $58 an hour for 2 people, approximately two hours of cleaning time. When they came, there was 3 people, which is fine, because it should take less time, but this was not the case. They charged me $200 ($185+tip) to clean my small, one bedroom apartment! I usually pay no more than $80 with my other cleaners (my apartment is small!) I have no idea what this team of three were doing for 2hrs, but it was no more clean than any other time. Very dissapointed, I did not time them or watch them while they where cleaning, but I wish I would have. When I called customer service, they told me that the price was normal for a "dirty" apartment. That is fine, but my apartment was not even close to being "dirty". We had a baby shower and the maids came in yesterday (Sunday) to clean up the mess. Mission Maids was recommended to me by a friend who uses regularly. They cleaned only the areas I wanted. The maids spoke excellent english, were fast, thorough and friendly. I have an all stainless steal kitchen, it looks like new!

Called up and got an appt for the next day. The maids arrived ontime and did exactly what I wanted. They were efficient and friendly and the quote was what I paid.

I have used MM for several months and we have been very happy with the service. You can customize the cleaning each time and we always get the same two ladies each week. There rates are lower than their competitors and it was reassuring to know that they are A rated from the Better Busiess Bureau. We have recommended them to our neighbor and she has been happy with the service too.

We have had two cleaning jobs performed by Mission Maids. The first cleaning was very good overall. However, they failed to cover the "included services" and vacuum underneath my couches, which were left in filthy condition. I was told it was my fault for not communicating to the crew that I specifically wanted this done. I'm sure anyone can agree this is NOT my responsibility, as it is specifically outlined in the INCLUDED services. Not to mention, people are not always able to be around to converse with the maids because they have to work. The second time around however, I DID specifically tell the maids to clean under the cushions. I even showed them. I also said not to go into my closet as it was not a priority and therefore, more money spent for them being there longer. When I returned home, the crew was gone. Cleaners are professional and on time. I was very impressed and will continue to use them in the future.

We signed up for Mission Maids recently, we just fired Molly Maids. I like the fact the maids, speak english, are professional and do a thorough job. Plus we get the same team each week. If we ever need extra things, like a fridge being cleaned, the maids are more than happy to do it.

We use Mission Maids from time to time for the last several years. The management is friendly, the maids are efficient. We had a small issue on one trip which they took care of immediately. Overall we have been very happy with Mission Maids. Plus they are cheaper than most of their competitors.

The customer that posted what terrible service they received and attributed it to having a small place should have served as a warning! I have a small place too, but I decided to call anyway, and it is still two hours work for two people as I am a clean freak... The person on the phone was nice and assured me that someone would arrive at my home between 8 and 9:30. I specifically addressed the issue of how timing was important and that's why I chose this window as opposed to a later one. No one showed up and no one called. I called at 9:45 and 10:00 as still no word. No one answered the phone. At 10:30 still no one called back or answered. I left two messages. I don't know what part of this constitutes service, but it is the worst! On top of that, now I'm in a bind for getting the house cleaned before my guest arrives. I have used Mission Maids for years. Recently, my small 700 sq foot job has been put at the end of their interest. Over the last two month...

I have used Mission Maids for years. Recently, they have missed the time window 4 times for my small 700 square foot apartment. They do not contact you when late, nor are they very interested in maintaining small jobs. I have become very jaded, as they seem to expect you to work around their schedule, rather than around yours. I suggest caution and avoid them for anything less than big dollar jobs.

Prompt response, competent customer service. Mission maids responded quickly to my request for a maid and they were there that day.

I can call at the last minute and get service either same day and or the next. I like the fact that can request the same team each time. Great service.

We had a huge 4th of July party. Our house was thrashed. The maids came in on Saturday morning and by noon we had a habitable home once again. They pressure washed the back patio, cleaned up all the trash.

They always do a great job, there rates are fair, less than the competitors. Hard working honest people.

We are shooting a film. Mission Maids came out to look over out massive location. We got an emailed estimate within an hour and they were able to send out a cre of 10 people the following morning at 5:30am. They stayed all day and cleaned a 27,000 sq foot home with 14 bathrooms and 2 guest houses while we were setting up for the shoot. The team leader spoke great english, took direction and got the job done. We had a manager show uo 3 times during the day doing quality control checks. The estimate was spot on and we have hired them for daily service for the duration of the shoot.

I give Mission Maids credit where credit is due: they did a very good job cleaning my very messy apartment. In the process, however, they broke my toilet bowl handle and my showerhead, neither of which had shown any signs of damage or wear before the cleaning. Furthermore, they threw away some of my books -- you'd think you wouldn't have to instruct cleaners not to do that! When I called customer service to report these problems, the guy said he'd get back to me within 24 hours, and never did. (They cleaned my apartment over two weeks ago.) So I can't recommend this service -- there must be other services out there that can do a good job cleaning without causing unnecessary damage, and that know the difference between trash and a book.

I tried all these services and Mission Maids was by far the cheapest and offered the most flexible and best service.

We had scheduled another company to come out an clean our place. My parents were coming into town that evening and the other company flaked on us the morning they were scheduled to come out. Mission Maids was only co available and they were cheaper than our first choice. The maids were quick, thorough and efficient. We will definately be using these guys again. Recommended!

We had a rager last night. Mission Maids came in the morning and glued our house back together. It's hard to believe they did it so quickly. Our house was totally trashed. They were even able to pressure wash our patio, its looks like new.

My friend recommended these guys. She has used them several times. My team arrived on time and ready to work. The maids seemed experienced, spoke surprisingly good english and worked hard. I will call them again when I need them in a few months.

We had a water pipe burst in our home. Once it was fixed I called Mission Maids to come out and clean up our house which was a total mess. The estimate turned out to higher than the price we were charged. The maids had all the gear and I liked the fact they use environmentally friendly cleaning products. The maids spoke good english and were knowledgable. Overall we were very happy.

I used to Mission Maids on a fairly regular basis. I am teacher so I have to watch my pennies. I found a slightly cheaper service and decided to try them. What a mistake, they were late, took longer so I ended up paying more and they broke a figurine my mother left me which they won't replace. So I am going back to Mission Maids, they are always on time, the maids work quickly and they arer insured for breakages if they occured. Mission Maids is a much better service.
