Sat Sep 02 2006I am getting on a bit in years, but cannot resist a new razor. I have been using a Gillette M3Power for some while and except for one other, have found it the best shave so far. I was a scientist so do daft things like shaving one side of my face with the power on and the other side with it off. To be honest, power on, is only marginally better (lasts longer) and that might be because I am better at shaving one side of my face. However, I decided on the Power version of the fusion, which comes in both powered and not powered versions. If Gillette engineers do not win awards for design and engineering I am very surprised. Mon Feb 13 2006the only reason i have a nice razor is because my mom bought it for me. 5 blades? with a 6th on the back? give me a 59 cent bic.

Mon Feb 13 2006ZZZZZZZZZZZZ Is the commercial over yet? I don't have facial hair so I don't give a flying gopher's crap about shaves.

Thu Feb 09 2006Gillette perfected the razor a couple of years back with the Mach 3 Turbo. I tried the Fusion and the only improvement is the single blade on the rear for shaving under the nose. Yes all these Gillette blades are pricy but for me they last a month and shave oh so close.

Mon Feb 06 2006Call me when I can just press a button and my face will be smooth. All of the gimmicky razors are getting pretty old, and the commerical for this was weak.

Mon Feb 06 2006boxnbullride, my sentiments exactly. Mach 3 blades are pricy enough. I can't even imagine the damage a 6-blade razor would do to my wallet.

Mon Feb 06 2006Wow! I figured they would jump from 3 blades to 4, but 6!? This is a great advance in technology folks! Sigh... Zuchinibut is right... This thing looks like a gimmick, and there was nothing to the commercial.
