Simple play book, no creativity, bad offensive play calling. Wastes 1/2 the plays running previously failed up-the-middle plays, (ie.Jackson could have been a Hiesman winner had he been run outside (at least some options) instead of into the pile over and over again.)In desperate need of an offensive coordinator(like USCs). Also has faild to teach QB to survey the field (ie. QB throws to covered rather than wide open recivers down field.) Thinks he can beat better teams with basic/simple game plan - but it doesn't work that way- Fails to recognize that offensive creativity/suprise (again, play book and offensive coordinator deficiencies) their only hope when playing better teams. Needs to start the season at the top of their game and not gradually work up to it like he has indicated. Great defense. Nice guy!
