Michele Lynn really takes her time with you during the consultation. By the time she starts the service you are very confident that your hair will look fabulous when she is done. I have never been disappointed! Having curly hair is always a challenge, but because Michele's hair is also curly, she really understands the nature of curls.

I went there because I read so many good things abot her salon and it is very close to where I live. I was a customer of Ann Gerorge before (and will be again in the future). I wanted some highlights and the same haircut only an inch shorter. Because I have a job interview for a very conservative position, I asked not to make the highlights very bright. I wanted the hair not to be too boring but I also did not want really a lot brighter hair. Now I have a) hair that is a lot brighter and b) the same haircut I had back in 4th grade!!! And when I got upset about her cutting off hair by more than I asked for, the hairdresser first told me "I am not done yet", later "we talked about this", and then "this was probably be a language problem" (refering to the fact that I am a non-native speaker). Great location in the South Loop, right off the Orange Line at Roosevelt. I walked in and was immediately excited to see my favorite Redken line, Urban Experiment. It's so hard to find in the city! For my cut, I told my stylist Michele that I wanted to do something different with my curly hair and she gave me excellent advice and options. I left with a great new look!

I was so impressed with the customer service at Michele Lynn. If you go here, be sure to get your hair done by Michele, highly recommend her! She's a bit more expensive than the others, but totally worth the money in my opinion. Great communication, cool styling techniques, took her time and ended up with an overall quality cut.

I had previously went to a bargain haircut place and gotten a new hairstyle. I guess I should have known, you get what you pay for. Needless to say, the haircut was not what I had wanted. The next day I started calling salons near my home looking for someone who could take me that night. Michele's was able to book me for that evening. Danyele was my stylist and when I told her what I wanted, she was able to fix my hairstyle and make it look great. I was so happy when I left. Prices are very good, and I got coupons for money off my next two appointments. I had a great experience and would recommend this salon highly. I will be making a return trip.
