I drive about 30 min to get to Michel Benaroch Hair Stuido, I truly love it. They have a great selection of quality hair products. Love the feel of the Salon great people, but I love my stylist Anita and would drive a hour for her!! I've lived in New York and LA for many years and have had various stylist . I'm a very meticulous about my hair color even though is just dark brown Anita is fabulous with color and gets it right every time!! She's also amazing with extention, did I mention FAST!!! I've been cursed with frizzy, curly hair but recently Anita changed all that, she introduced me to Brazilizan Blowout ....I swear for anyone that wants Amazing, Glossy Straight hair everyday, ,then you have to try Brazilizn Blowout! I think I'll never go to curly again. To me the grass is greener on the other side!!! Thanks to ANITA :)

This is a Salon with the best artists in hair color, cuts, extentions and products. One inparticular is, Anita. A pro with extentions and color matching. Mr. Benaroch knew what he was doing bringing this incredibly talented stylist to his salon. This is a five star rating and would recommend this salon to those who love perfection.

Ian Skolnik of Michel Benaroch Hair Studio has been cutting and coloring my hair for the past two years. I will never go to another hair stylist because Ian is an experienced and talented individual; and he is a joy to be around. By nature, I am a fussy person. Ian never fails to amaze me. Michel Benaroch has done hair for celebrities in Beverly Hills before opening his own place in San Diego. I heard that women would travel from SD to LA just to have their hair done by him!!!! I just fell in love with this salon. It's very cute and the whole staff does an amazing job with taking care of it's customers. I left with a completely new look with my hair. I also found out that they do hair and make up for special events. I will be getting married this December and I will have them do my hair and make up as well as my whole family. Very excited!

Where do I begin? First, this is not about me, but my wife. She used to get her hair done in Beverly Hills by the stylists that did "the stars". And, it showed - she could have beautiful blonde hair that looked just like theirs. Sadly, we have had so-so results looking for that same type of artistry here in San Diego. I recently went to see Ian Skolnik because I needed something new. I had been seeing the same stylist for the past several years, and she refused to ever to anything different to my hair! I was recommended to Ian by a friend, and am sooooooo happy with the results. I explained to him why I was dissatisfied with my current style, and together we create a style concept that I LOVE!!!! Not only is Ian a hip 30-something himself, but he regularly attends trainings to keep his skills and artistic eye up to date. I am so happy to have found someone that is willing to "see me in a new light".

I've been getting my hair cut by Ian ever since he started at Michel's Hair Studio and he has always provided me with an exceptional look that is both edgy and classy at the same time, I often come in with abstract suggestions of what I would like to try next with my hairdo and he always creates a perfect execution of what my elusive yammering's ask for. Right now I am rocking what I call the "Metroxican" which he stylistically sheared out of my mass of hair. Michel is an expert artist. He has cut and colored my thick, wavy hair at long, medium and now short lengths and it always looks amazing (not an easy task with my hair texture). Color is unbelievable and very natural looking. Everyone at the salon is very friendly and hospitable. I used to drive to Beverly Hills from North County to get my hair done after several attempts to find a stylist in town , then I found Michel. Definitely the best salon in town!

Michel Benaroch has been coloring and cutting my hair for nearly 10 years. I have lived all over the country and been to many colorists and stylists---there is no one better than Michel. Even when I lived in areas such as Seattle, I never found anyone who did such an amazing job with my color and cut. I would often "make an excuse" to come to San Diego just so that Michel could color and cut my hair (or fix what some "high priced/well-intentioned " stylist had done to my hair in Seattle). Michel's studio is amazing, his quality of service (from the reception desk to his assistants) are truly remarkable. His other salon Bella (in La Jolla) is fabulous as well. As we know, it is hard to find that perfect stylist--and once you do, then you want to stick with them! Annie Riley of the Michel Benaroch Hair Studio RUINED MY HAIR. Instead of cutting it the way I asked, she cut my hair into what looks like a growing out mullet. HIDEOUS! When I told her I was not happy, she gave me a nasty attitude. When I told Michel Benaroch, the salon owner, that I was very unhappy with my hideous new haircut from Annie Riley, he said he could not do anything because she is a booth renter and not an employee. He then tried to sell me hair products to mask the destruction. What?!?!?! DO NOT LET ANNIE RILEY CUT YOUR HAIR!!! or you will be very sorry

I went here for my first time the other day and it is a great place! Anita is an amazing stylist, beautiful young lady, and genuinely nice person! I would highly recommend her to any man/woman who is looking for a great cut/styling from a great/friendly person. The staff there is all very friendly and the salon is super clean and has a nice layout. I will definitely be back.

I had my first visit to Michel Benaroch Hair Studio recently and I absolutly loved it! I went to see Sumika, a fabulous stylist there for my highlights and haircut. To be honest I was kind of nervous because I found them on city search but when I got there they made me feel so comfortable. First of all the place is so elegant and when I sat down the offered me coffee, tea, soda, what ever I wanted. The staff was so friendly and I felt like they really cared. Sumika was awesome, she was really thoural during our consultation and really listened to what I wanted and also gave feed back on what she thought would fit me! She did very detailed work and when she was finished It looked absolutly amazing. She did my highlights perfect! I like natural looking highlights and I think she did some low lights in there to to make a nice blend!
