Michael Mann

Michael Mann is one of my favorite directors his work in The last of the mohicans, heat, and collaterall was great. Miami VIce was pretty good too. He is one of my favorite.

"Heat" and the very underrated "Last of the Mohicans" are solid works. . .Mann has some good films in his resume. . .

Did some fascinating stuff with Vice. But was a total chowderhead not to use Jan Hammer again to score the Miami Vice film. He lost all credibility with me after that.

Highly stylish, occasionally provicative. The Insider was excellent for infusing excellent action movie excitement into a tale of moral dilemna. Ali was pretty satisfying. Heat was kind of empty, but still a good cat and mouse thriller.
