Usually great fans. LOUD when Nebraska is on defense. Last few trips since Nebraksa has fallen on hard times, fan base is a little harsh, but nothing that isn't acceptable or normal.

All seats are great! The big screens make all the action visable to all seats.

Not the best facility (I think there's just one bathroom and one concession stand for the entire visitor section), but by far the best fans I've ever seen.

Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE is one of a kind. First of all, the fans make the stadium what it is. The place has soldout since the early-1960s if I remember correctly, and fans show up in their scarlet and cream every game and are some of the classiest and most knowledgable you'll find. Though it isn't as appealing to the eyes as some other top stadiums around college football may be, the recent addition on the north side of the stadium, as well as the renovation of the press boxes in the late-90s has made the place a little better to the eye. Memorial Stadium had the first replay screens in college football, and as already mentioned, now has the largest video screen in college football. Those screens have led to the Tunnel Walk, which is becoming a tradition in itself at Nebraska, in addition to the 5 national championships, 3 Heisman winners, and numerous other distinctions NU and its players have received. The atmosphere in and around Memorial Stadium on gameday is somethin... Read more

First college stadium to have video replay screens. First college stadium to use field turft. And soon it will have the largest video replay screen in all of football. Greatest fans in college football (win or lose we applause opposing team as it walks off the field). Loud passionate sea of red. Beautiful weather in the fall. Best place on earth on game day.

Stadium itself is ho-hum but the fans make up for it. Loud and into the game. As an Aggie, I have to say that the Nebraska fans are probably the friendliest I have ever met. They were polite before, during and after the game and made us feel quite welcome.

Memorial Stadium in Lincoln Nebraska is without a doubt a top 10 stadium if not top 5. Way to much history and tradition to not be. Its truely one of the greatest venues of College Football.

Stadiums, how do u rate them. Size? anyone can build more seats. that has nothing to do with prestige, how about sellouts. the fans dedication, and the atmosphere play into this stat. and who dominates here, well the record books say memorial stadium over and over, i think 273 times to be exact.

ATMOSPHERE AND FANS SAY IT ALL. MOST CONSECUTIVE SELL OUT GAMES

The husker have a long standing tradition of winning, but they also have a lond standing tradition of problems. This ranks right up there with Miami. From bad disrespectful players, to wife beaters, to steroid users, to sucker punching fans on the field. the program need to crack down on discipline issues up there if it wants to be respected. But the huskers will do anything to win even if its to recruit problem players. Winning is not everything if you cant win with honor!

Memorial Stadium is one the loudest and craziest places on saturdays during the fall. If you ever go to a game you can feel the excitement right when you get out of your car. When the tunnel walk starts and sirius starts blasting through the speakers all your hair on your body stands up. Its one of the most exhilirating times of your life. I have been to Texas A&M;, Texas, Oklahoma, Penn State, Colorado, and Kansas State, Memorial Stadium is the loudest and best places to be. And with new seats and a new big screen being added it will be the best in the country.

260 consecutive sellouts.... people just love this place! Combine that with one of the biggest card stunts EVER (dont just this last year), and you have magical makings.

I've been to every home game since the 2003 season and every game I get chills down my spine. The people are amazing, the stadium is amazing, but most importantly the players are amazing. If you've never been to a college football game, I highly recommend you visit Lincoln and be a part of the NCAA record for consecutive sell-outs.

This stadium epitomizes college football. I don't know what else can be said, the fans are among the classiest and most knowledgeable in the country, until recently the team was always Top Ten material, and is placed in the perfect location where 80% of the state's population is within an hour's drive of Memorial Stadium.

There is nothing like the Sea of Red at a Cornhuskers game, and the fans are awesome. This is a must see for Stadium travelers

Nebraska's Memorial stadium is a state of the art facility. There is a lot of tradition there, the fans are top notch and now we have, in my opinion, the best coaching possible

Size and crowd support is impressive, but should have made seating additions match the original architecture of stadium. What's with the mammoth suite/press box? It over powers the entire stadium bowl.

Fabulous fans, great Fairbury red hot dogs, great sound system, 1st video replay boards ever installed in a college only stadium, and a stat board so fans know who's gaining how many yards.

There is good and bad things about Memorial Studium. Memorial has very good lay out that gets every one of the 71+ thousand in the stadium with in 30 sec. of stading in line. What is not good is getting out it is bad major trafic and people jams. The seats in Memorial suck very small, meant for some one that is about 5'6, but new press boxs, and a upper deck under them are great. The fans are mostly nice to opposing teams and there fans.
