Melrose Moving

I hired Melrose to help my daughter pack and load everything into a uhaul. My husband injured his back and was not able to help with her heavy pieces or move the boxes. i called Melrose Moving to get some guys to help us. It was relief to have them. They were always a step ahead and made it all work out. They did a great job organizing things in the truck. Everything arrived to Colorado without damages.

I've used Melrose twice. First time was about eight years ago, and a great job then. Recently I tried moving my own furniture ... not so great it was a total mess. So i ended up calling Melrose Moving last minute to have them do the job that I was not even able to finish starting. They were exceptionally efficient and worth the money. No damaged furniture and had everything completed in less than four hours.

Melrose Moving did a great job for me. They called ahead and asked if it was ok if they came a bit early which was a plus because they were able to help pack some stuff I was behind with. They were fast and cautious, with my things.

I Melrose Moving for move me from Glendale to Marina Del Rey. They were fast and reliable. They got everything moved for me in a matter of hours, all for a price comparable to renting a U-Haul myself. I will absolutely use them again if I have to move.

Very pleased with the moving experience with Melrose Moving. Moving with Melrose took away our stress. Rashid could not have been nicer and more professional. I got exhausted just watching them. They worked non stop and really hard. All our furniture was wrapped in the moving blankets they provided. Not even one furniture or wall dent out of my old house and in to our new one. fast friendly and very careful. The 3 men that came to move my home were fast friendly and very careful with all my furniture and home. They worked fast and took min. of breaks. I was very impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. As we walked thru my home prior to the guys getting started, they explained how beds would be broken down, mirrors removed from dressers among other things. They was very thorough and I could tell he had the experience to complete the move without any issues. I was worried about having enough room at the storage facility and they assured me there would be sufficient space. And was right. Thanks again for a less stressful move.

This company really did everything right, punctuality is an undisputable sign of professionalism and these guys were absolutely professional. Prompt and careful did a quick overview of the house (we used to live in a big house) and started lifting and going in and out. They finished loading the truck in less than 4 hours, which I believe for a 4 Bedroom house is an outstanding feat. Thank you guys! I will recommend you to everyone!!!

An excellent experience! The moving company arrived as scheduled, worked quickly, efficiently, but carefully. The crew was friendly and helpful, and respectful of my belongings. In at least one case, left items in BETTER shape than when we started. Move completed in the time estimated. Overall, an excellent experience. I would recommend them highly.

Moving from Pasadena to Thousand Oaks was a very daunting prospect but Melrose Moving made it that much easier! Not only did they have to move us from the top of 3 flights of stairs and a very long driveway but they did it in record time and without ever making it seem like it was an effort. From scheduling and organizing insurance requests with the reps to the actual move date itself, everyone is professional and polite. I've never had anything arrive broken, or not arrive at all. The guys are fast, always on time, and take great care of my belongings.

What I liked most about Melrose Moving was how affordable and the service was above average. I feel I got the most for my money. This company is very professional and they provide excellent service. The prices were great too. Our move relied upon time and they were at each location on time, just as requested. We do this move annually and they now are our official movers. They were very careful and paid extra attention to details. Top notch movers.

I've moved 9 times in 10 years and for this most recent one I decided to break down and hire movers. It was the best money I've ever spent. They were able to schedule me with a one day notice which other companies could not do. When they arrived (on time!) all three guys were friendly, courteous, professional, and fun to have around. From the time they arrived to the time they left the new house was a total of 3.5 hours. They were very careful with my things - nothing was damaged, including my Ikea and Target furniture. I highly recommend hiring these guys. Hopefully I won't be moving again for a long time but when I do I will hire them again in a second.

Needed helping with packing. Packing on my own was hard to continue as I found more and more stuff. The guys two guys that came to do the work were great. They had so much patience with me. i even had them help me decide what to toss out and what to keep. They made me feel like a customer they cared about and not just another packing service. At the end I ended up hiring them for the moving service too! They did a great job overall! Melrose was very helpful and recommend them to anyone that needs help with a move.

Recommend Melrose for anyone that is interested in getting the best service when it comes to moves. I have hired different moving companies in the past, but will no longer be experimenting. I have found the one company I can count on for any move. I know with Melrose I will get a good treatment from the reps and have outstanding service from the moving guys.

FIVE stars to Melrose! The did an outstanding job just this past weekend. I had them help me move to my new home. They did a great job and never complained about a thing or gave a reason to not do something. Total opposite, they offered to give me a hand when they saw me moving heavy stuff. Moving crew was very professional and efficient. Did not give excuses, or complaints about anything that had to be moved. They never hesitated to take an extra step to help me out. I was doing the move by myself with the help of the movers. So I was very stressed and overwhelmed afraid something could go wrong. Offered a hand with anything they saw me carrying. 5 STARS, fireworks and A-pluses all the way! Melrose Movers helped the husband and I move from a one bedroom/loft in Venice to a one bedroom in Brentwood exactly one month ago today. Good deal, on-time arrival at 10 AM as requested, super professional care, excellent service, friendly communication, efficient use of their time and our time. FYI: Book early if you desire a weekend move - with almost a month in advance we still had to settle for a Thursday or a Monday. Considering the savings (compared to our previous moves with a national chain) however, they were definitely worth taking the day off work. SUMMARY: We're glad we moved with this company and will more than likely be ringing them up within a year or two the next time we move. Thanks again, Melrose Movers.

We used them for our commercial move, they were rude, complained of being tired from another job, broke items, refused to put desks together they took apart, yelled at our staff and were all together rude and unprofessional. I would never use them again nor recommend anyone using them. They do not allow you to check the truck to make sure your items are all unloaded and they even ask you to tip them...for what bad service. They drug their feet and made sure the hourly rate went into overtime, worst movers ever!!!!

I had these movers move two of my pianos, and although I was very nervous, everything went well. The movers were very careful and now I am playing in my new townhouse.

I am really impressed with the customer service I received. The price was much lower than others quoted to me, and I was pleasantly surprised that the service I received didn't suffer because of that. The movers were friendly and courteous, far different than other experiences I had where the movers didn't speak any English or only cared about doing the least possible work and getting out of there. They actually took the time to ask us what was in different boxes and what was extremely fragile. They then moved the boxes to the specific rooms, just like we asked them, instead of just dumping them all in one huge pile. They waited while my wife and I had decided about the best place to put the furniture and even moved it a few times so we can see what it would look like. TIP - if you book them from their myspace page, you save 10%.

Good, honest guys. I had a long conversation with the manager over the phone and explained that I had a lot of fragile belongings that needed to be moved. He made sure that the movers brought heavy duty blankets, frame protectors, and other equipment to make sure my things didnt get damaged. When the movers got to my place, they wrapped up my plasma tv very carefully and waited for my approval before loading it into the truck. Movers were very considerate, customer service was awesome. i was worried about finding a moving company that would be able to pick up my things from two different locations. i figured that they would charge me extra for the mileage and what not. when i called melrose moving and explained my situation, they told me it was no problem at all and i wouldn't be charged for the extra location since it was so close. i was honestly amazed! they were able to schedule me for the day i wanted and they ended up doing a great job. i'm glad i used a company that didn't try to rip me off. they were a great help and i'd definitely use them again.

i just moved with them this weekend and they did a great job. my best friend had used this company before and recommended me. when i told the manager that my friend had used them before, he gave me an amazing discount! i have never used a moving company for such a low price. he was very friendly and confirmed my moving date and time right over the phone. i had a huge tv to move and the movers were able to wrap it up so it wouldn't get damaged. they were very careful with all of my belongings. i really appreciated the customer service and help with the move!
