She listens to what makes you comfortable and helps you takes risks and chances that you will absolutely love! Also, with color...she hits a home run! I get so many compliments on my color and it is due to her vision. I highly recommend Kathy as she provides you with exemplary service and you will love your look once she is done.

I prefer to allow hairstylists to do their job. I walked in the first day I met Pam and said "do whatever you want". My hair has been amazing since. She even took me to a shade of red that I would have never dared, and I cannot wait to show it off! I've seen her do professional and tame, but let her try her creative side on you..you won't regret it!

I was recommended to Jamie by a co-worker back in 1998 and it was the best thing to ever happen to my hair! I have spent 10 years as a faithful client that drives an hour every 8 weeks for the priviledge of the best service and skill in Atlanta... I recommend her and her salon so highly that my mother and husband have both become long-time clients as well! The salon is very stylish and the entire staff is very friendly and professional. The receptionist knows me by name and that goes a long way! Thanks for being the best!

I just moved to Atlanta from Detroit, Michigan and got a package from the Welcome Wagon. In it was a gift certificate from Melange for a haircut. I started asking around about the place and was shocked at how many people were already clients. I decided to try it and stopped by on Friday afternoon. I walked in and asked if I could get in sometime soon and the front desk person smiled and said she would find a place for me. It was then that a bouncy, vibrant Jessica came to take me away to one of the worlds best shampoo's, followed by a fabulous haircut. I am so happy that I scheduled a hightlight appointment for next week before I even left the salon. I am glad I didn't toss that gift away and am very pleased with the service of staff and the stylist. Looks like The Welcome Wagon really knows what they're doing when it comes to knowing how to make us newbee's feel right at home.

After many disappointing visits to various salons my boyfriend suggested that I see his stylist, Mary, at Melange. He has been going to her for a while and thinks she is great! She listened to all my bad hair stories and asked me various questions about what I wanted. My highlights look fantastic...better than it has looked in years!!! It is such a fun salon, the stylist seem to really enjoy each other as well as their clients. I actually look forward to my salon visits now.

I would drive by the salon on my way home from work every evening and would see the stylist's doing hair and thought, I should try that place. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did! I called and asked if the receptionist could recommend someone and she said, "every stylist in here is fantastic or they wouldn't be here!" I thought, what the heck, I was sick of driving to Buckhead and paying $100 for attitude and being rushed in and out. The very helpful receptionist scheduled me with Pam. I have been in hair heaven ever since. I have come to realize that most of my neighbors also go to and have been clients of this salon for several years. I met a woman at Target one day and loved her hair and asked where she got it done, she exclaimed "Jon at Melange Hair Studio!" I laughed and told her I went there too and Pam was my stylist. Pam Burriss at Melange Hair Studio! She is great. I love the salon, the atmosphere, the receptionist there is very friendly and always remembers me when I call to book an appointment. I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Pam since they opened over 4 years ago. It is nice to have a salon and stylist who I can rely on to be consistent with my appointments, my haircuts, my color and who is always able to help me relax and have fun after a long day. You can also visit the nail salon next door while your color processes too! If you live in the Grant Park area and looking for a great hair salon, call and make an apointment with Pam, you will be happy you did.

I get my hair cut with Mary at Melange. My wife suggested I go there instead of the "supercuts" I had been getting for years. I really enjoy the atmosphere and it is so easy to pre-book appointments months ahead and then get the reminder call the day before your haircut, fool proof way to go. Go see Mary, she will hook you up!

I went to John for 8+ years and thought he was the be all end all of stylists. Their prices are great for their services, but that is provided your schedule is accurate and they don't mess it up. YEars of going and TONS of referrals and booked appointments MONTHS in advance. Loyalty you would think would be respected and appreciated. The new receptionist messed up my schedule, all I received was excuses excuses excuses. Let's be accountibly people. This is not my problem. I take the time to book appointments months in advance to ensure I have an appointment, then that goes out the window because someone screwed up. Needless to say I had a funeral and leaving town the day after my "supposed appt" that never happened. The receptionist was full of excuses. This was the first time in years that I let a stylist touch my hair. After several bad and expensive experiments I decided to let my hair grow . When I was ready for a new look, Pam at Melange was recommended to me by my sister. I made my appointment a couple of weeks in advance with Pam, and showed up a couple of minutes early. She was ready to work with me immediately. The Salon has a very modern look to it and the staff was very friendly. I love Pam's approach. She was honest and took the time to discuss what I wanted out of my hair cut and how I wanted to wear it before she starting cutting. She gave me some good advise on easy - at home styling , and after she finished cutting I was thrilled. My hair looks fantastic! I love my new style and now I'm hooked. (THANKS PAM! )

Oh my goodness! I have found the one and only person to ever touch my hair again! I saw Tara at this salon from a recommendation from a friend. What a cool chic! We talked about a new new style and I cut off 8 inches from hair. I also had a color change which I love love love!!! I was a blond and Tara said to try red with blond hilights for this time of year!!! I LOVE IT!! Tara was fun and helpful. She said what I should use to take care of my hair. I've never loved my hair as much as I do now. YOU HAVE TO CHECK HER OUT! YOU WILL BE HOOKED!

The service I received was wonderful. I am so pleased my friend Jennifer recommended this salon. I had an appointment with SHEILA and absolutely adored her! She had a consultation(she sat down and discussed what I wanted and made suggestions from her professional perspective). She gave me a wonderful massage with the shampoo and a treatment masque(complimentary). The haircut is the best! It is so versatile. I can do so many things with it and love it more every day!!!!! I am telling everyone to try her at least once, they will be hooked.

WOW is right! I found this hotspot online and I am very pleased. I had an appointment with Shelia and she sat down to chat about my options for a new style. She actually listened and we came up with some great ideas. My last haircut at another salon was a disaster. Shelia turned it into a masterpiece! I didn't have to lose too much length(which I love) and she transformed my style. She is really an artist. My color she did is so much fun and cool too. Shelia put me at ease the moment I walked in and took very care of me. I have had many compliments on my hair and have sent in 3 friends already! This is the best haircut I have ever had!! Richie is amazing. I was referred by a friend because I adore her hair, ALL the time. I made an appointment, which the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I travel out of town quite a bit and I wanted to get in the salon as soon as possible. I have never received as many compliments on my hair before. He listened to me and made suggestions of what would be great for my hair. He was right!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I have found my stylist !!!

What a wonderful experience! I have been going to all the salons in atl. I was recommended by a friend to ry this place out and ask for Sheila Lee. What a discovery! She was so cool and trendy that it was awesome. She listened to me and what I wanted and it came out better than what i had imagined! Sheila Lee is an expert! She works with an apprentice Richy who was just as wonderful! He gave me a head message to just die for! If i could I would go every day just for him to wash my hair! He was funny and loves what he does! Really cool guy and what a pair they make!!! very in sync and extremely creative. Sheila Lee gave me styling tips to use at home with the recommende products to use on my hair! I am now using Bumble and Bumble and i adore it!
