The staff is the worst. They do their very best to humiliate you in front of other patients. They act as the thugs, doing the doctor's dirty work, strong arming you for cash so that the doctors can prance around like sweethearts. Don't be fooled. I know from first experience that if they think you owe them any amount of money they are not interested in your or your health, (except where it may be construed as mal practice) and they have cheerfully notified me that I am no longer welcome as a patient as long as I have an outstanding bill, even though I am making payments on it. Also, even though Dr Kristen was the doctor on call and delivered my baby, Dr Roberts was supposed to be my doctor, but she didn't even come in to check on me or see the baby while I was in the hospital. I found that to be very rude. If you enjoy assembly line treatment and worst case senarios you will love it here.

i went in for my appt and Sadie, the nurse practiioner admitted to me that the ultrasound machine she was using on me was old and not very good. The second appt they made me wait for 45 min while they figured out my insurance that wouldnt start until Sept 1st and I offered to pay cash for the visit and they told me that I had to pay the entire $3000 for services i have yet to receive and then i would be reimbursed once my insurance took effect. I asked them why they didnt call me the day before so we could have sorted all of it out before i drove all the way out there. I told them it was ludacris and i walked out.

Dr. Joe is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.. he actually spends time with his patients and answers all your questions. You WILL have to wait, he usually is late, but its because he takes his time with all of his patients and/or had to delivery a baby, etc. It is worth the wait, trust me. I had biopsys done and would love to have him do my surgery, but got dropped from my insurance. I have a lot of OB/GYN problems and had a complicated history and he took the time to get to know me and my history and was able to treat me and manage my symptoms better than anyone else has so far. The nurse/physician assistant is amazing also, Sadie. The ultrasound tech is IN OFFICE and she is really easy to work with.

Dr. Roberts is awesome. She has been seeing my teenage daughter for about 2 years. My daughter has some hormone issues and Dr. Roberts helped. She has continued a relationship that called me in when my daughter was 17 and considering being sexual active. Dr. Roberts treated her (and myself) with dignity and respect. When my 17 yr old calls - her calls are promptly returned and appts booked accordingly. Has she had to wait? She's going in for easy appts. - OF COURSE SHE HAS TO WAIT - there are women in the room with BIG issues on occasion. People need to remember the golden rule. Office staff are not underlings, when you treat them with smiles, jokes and niceties - it's usually reciprocated. If you're waiting too long - remember the doctors aren't in back having martinis - they're tending to people's needs who may be greater than yours today - lucky you. And at least you'll know when you DO get back there, they'll treat you the same. Act like an animal - you'll be treated like one..

MWC was my doc for my first pregnancy. While the docs are high quality, I am afraid there is some mismanagement happening in the office. First, expect LONG wait times (at least an hour usually more) with only a few minutes with the doctor. Second, expect to be charged for everything. I had hypertension 5 months in and was told I needed monitoring twice a week (no one could explain why, though). I was charged for 2 tests every time. When I was then referred to a perinatologist for the same service I paid for 1 test (the EXACT SAME PROCEDURES!). Third, post-partum care was terrible. I had extreme swelling of my feet and instead of seeing me, they sent me to the ER -- the ER doc thought they were nuts as this was normal swelling for a C-section! Cost me hundreds of dollars for nothing. My C-Section was a piece of cake thanks to the docs excellent skills, but it is not worth the other issues. I am pregnant again and am switching to another OB.

They have the STUPIDEST patient info system, it's paperless and that means you have to sign up on a website to fill in all your personal info, the website is horrible and very user-unfriendly and when I called them to say that it was down, can they let me fill out the info at my appt, I was told that I had to arrive 1 hour before my appointment? If you want to use a modern system, fine, just make sure it's one that works!!! Also, I dont appreciate being FORCED to use my SS#. Sadly, the lack of good doctors in Vegas means people put up with POOR service because they have no other options!!

Meadows Women Center office staff is not the best however I have been going to Dr. K Rojas since 2001, I had a lot of issues with my health and I only have great things to say about her care or any of the doctors at Meadows Women Center. I was trying to get pregnant and I went to Dr.K.Rojas as she specializes in high risk pregnancies, she really helped me through all my issues and a year 1/2 later she delivered a healthy baby girl. It is true though that if you go see her and you are pregnant, you will see all the doctors in that office. Her husband Dr. J Rojas and Dr.Roberts. I had to do a lot of monitoring during my pregnancy and I had no choice but to see whoever was available at the time. My personnal experience was great with Dr.J Rojas and Lisa Roberts, I did not feel uneasy or uncomfortable with their care on the contrary. They are top notch doctors but they do need to have a more caring and efficient office staff and a small apology would be nice after you have been waitin... Read more

I loved their office and everyone in it. Yes, do you have to wait a long time sometimes to see the doctors but not always. They have a lot of patients because they are great doctors and very knowledgeable. That is why the wait is so long. When I had my baby they did everything they possibly could for me. The office staff was amazing and treated me so well. I loved going to see the doctors because everyone in the office always remembered me and always came up to me to say hello. I felt like they were my second family. I highly recommend them to every woman!

When I first went to see Dr. Roberts she was personable and down to earth. I felt comfortable and made it clear that I wanted her to be my physician for my entire pregnancy. After that first visit I only saw her twice, one of the other doctors became my primary for a reason unknown to me. The office is horrible crowded with wait times of 2 -3 hours. The staff is in constant turnover with no one being well trained. The nurses tell you one thing and the office staff has no idea when you get there what to do with you. They even lost a urine sample I had left at their request. And forget about trying to talk to the billing department. They have no idea what you are supposed to pay or why. It takes up to a week for them to even return your call. I wish I had made better decisions after my first visit. Hopefully this will help someone else steer clear of this office.

I would not reccomend this doctor to anyone. My experience was bad from the first phone call. I called and asked about certain equipment-was told they had it-booked an appointment, waited approx 6 weeks for my appointment. When my appointment came, it was cancelled with no apology-and a very bad/rude attitude from the office staff letting me know that the doctor's time was more valuable than mine. Also, they did not have the equipment that I was originally told that they had-they did not "know why" I was told they had it. No responibility for their mistake. Did not return my phone calls. Unable to get me in for another 6 weeks or so-complained to office manager, no apology there either. Very poor customer service-I decided to find another doctor rather than be tied to these folks. As the office staff is who you will deal with most of the time, I suggest finding another option-this one can cause uneccesary stress.

Several people referred me to Dr. Lisa Roberts who works for the Meadows Women's Center. When I tried to make an appointment, I was told I had to provide my SSN. The medical world is an area where identity theft found a great source of information, especially prior to shredding. Medical practices do not need SSNs for treatment anymore unless your insurance is so outdated, that the insurance company uses your SSN for the I.D. number. I have never been forced to provide an SSN for medical treatment and find it highly unusual that someone would try to strong arm-me into giving protected information when not needed. Meadows Womens' Center denied me treatement because I refused to give my SSN. Your SSN is legally protected information. Meadows office policy is set by its owner, Joseph Rojas, according to Meadows' office manager. One should question why a random number isn't generated and why Dr. Rojas is so far behind the legal times and willing to needlessly increase identity thef... Read more
