Dr. Nishihara claims to provide ?professional, compassionate, and comprehensive care for children? and I experienced the exact opposite. I asked a few questions and tried to understand the treatment he was providing. He was belittling, rude, and defensive. He gives the impression that there is only one right way to treat a child and that is his one size fits all approach. You are not allowed to question or try and understand. If you do, he is belittling and condescending. I just feel sick inside even thinking about it again. If his medical advice was infallible, maybe I would overlook his arrogance, but it is not. There were chemicals under the sink in one of the exam rooms without child safety locks on the doors. I was chastised about my immunization card as a legal document, but then they failed to write in the dates of the shots my child was given by their office; challenged to find any doctor who would give my child more time for a well visit.
