Sat Jul 23 2005Ya'll should be okay next year. I've never really hated ya'll that bad when you weren't playing us. That scam I read about that ya'll pulled on the Crazies, was hilarious. I can't believe how much it worked to perfection! What idiots! I guess having a script to outline how to cheer for a basketball team comes back to haunt you, huh? They should go cheer for their polo team or some grey puopon sport, because they obviously don't know basketball. Ever notice how when the ref makes a call, they get all confused for a split second before they understand what happened. They don't know the game. I've actualy seen them start booing, realize the call was in their favor and start cheering. Did you hear about the two Carolina fans that sat right smack in the middle of the crazies during the first Carolina game in '05? They had a sign that read POSERS with arrows pointing in all directions around them. I heard nobody said a single word to them about it... ................pussycats. GOLLY GEE THEY... Read more

Sat Mar 12 2005I was seriously torn between a 3 and a 4 on this one. I decided to give them a 4 on the sheer fact that they sweapt Duke this year, and beat them in last year's tourny. They have A LOT of talent, and I will personally be watching their progress for next year. Caner-Medley will be a senior, and will take much of the leadership on his shoulders. Gilchrist will also make an impact, making Maryland my team to watch next year in the ACC. We already know that the ACC holds great schools such as UNC, Duke, and WF; but I think next year Maryland will come into their own. They just need to be consistent.

Sun Mar 06 2005does maryland have some talent, yes. But personally I hate to watch Gary Williams, i think he's a crazy dramatic basketcase. And Maryland fans are a disgrace. It's hard for me to support a team where the fans have no class, as seen when they hit Carlos Boozer's mom in the head w/ a beer bottle, when they riot, and when they chant f*ck jj.

Fri Jan 07 2005The Terps are a complete team. Solid coach who's a proven winner. The roster has a little bit of everything: solid, strong PG, Deadeye 3-point shooter, tall, shot-blocking PF, several tweeners ( guys who can play guard or foward), role playing big men, deep bench. Gary Williams doesnt recruit big time blue chippers, but gets solid kids who are very good college basketball level players. Terps win and go the the NCAA's.

Wed Nov 21 2001Gary Williams' squad can get back to the Final 4 if they can overcome that early loss to Florida...I love Steve Blake; his court vision is unmatched, with the exception of Jason Williams...Losing Terence Morris will only help them; he was an overrated guy who became enamored with his own hype...Juan Dixon is a do-it-all college player, but he's very thin out there at 6-3, 164. Still, he's a master thief and scorer...Drew Nicholas could start for other ACC teams; he's good in his 6th man role, though; he's a fine perimeter scorer...Byron Mouton is a great all-around player; he plays hard on defense, he can score inside and out...Lonny Baxter is a load; he outplayed Boozer frequently in those Duke games.

Wed Jan 26 2000Gary Williams' teams are always in the Top 10 in the RPI Ratings. Obviously Gary Williams doesn't choose CREAM PUFF schedules like most of the teams in the Big East (with the exception of Connecticut). And they only beat North Carolina on their home court the past four seasons..if that's not a Big Game, I don't know what is!

Tue Oct 26 1999Has Gary Williams ever won a big game?
