PM's answer to Camel; rich and mellow, not as strongly flavored as Camel, but a bit more refined. Burns somewhat slower than regular MROs but still a bit on the quick side. Does not have diammonium phosphate or ammonium hydroxide, which is in the other MROs, and may be why these have a better aftertaste. Arguably the best cig PM makes, excepting Parliament. Highly enjoyable.

Alright, so I am currently smoking these. I decided I don't like any Camels after switching from Turkish Gold's as my regulars. These to me, are the golden standard, so to speak. You feel like a disciple of satan smoking one of these. Anyone ever seen My Best Friend's Girl? That's the one. Well, I'm not a connoisseur of a Cigarette by any means. I am currently self rehab-ing from Heroin, Cocaine, and Muscle Relaxer abuse, and knew I needed to stop. I have found the ultimate cigarette that helps me stay clean. By comparison, ammonia, cyanide, and whatever 400+ chemicals they put in these things are definitely child's play by comparison. Live fast, die young just doesn't cut it when you still want to do something with your life, even if the oil might be spilling for the rest of your natural born life. These cigarettes originally had a toffee-nutty type flavor, like Starbucks Coffee syrup flavoring. But the more I've smoked them, the weaker they have gotten. I appreciate the candy like... They remind me a smoother version of Marlboro Reds. They're not bad, I used to smoke them almost daily. I'd recommend them to anyone who enjoys Reds, but wants something slightly smoother.

These aren't bad at all. I can't quite decide whether I prefer these or the reds. When I first tried 27's they kind of tasted like I was smoking a tree, but I got used to them and they are...about equal to reds. DIfference is red's are kind of tangy and exciting and these are kind of mellow and woodsy. A-OK.

I have been wanting to try these forever and yesterday i got my self a pack. At first i was impressed with the goddamn pack itself. It was goldish brown, with the whole Smooth Rich Mellow thing going on. it was a soft pack (which is cool for me because i never got a soft back before) and on the top there was a blue paper that says "quality tobacco" or some crap in some rather fancy writing. It was a verry seducing pack. well i pulled one out and smelled it. It had a caramely tobacco smell. Verry nice. Lit it and took a few good puffaroos. now i should explain here I HAAAATTEEEE ANY NON-MENTHOL CIGARETTES, exept Camels, because i find they taste like bunrnt anus. I like camels becase they hav a woodsy, cedar taste. but back to the 27's, they tasted fantastic! it was strong without being harsh, flavorfull with out being over powering and smooth with out being dull. these are my new faves. 5/5 :)

Haven't had these in a few months, but all I remember is being able to chain smoke them and still feel no real buzz. Definitely a quality tasting cigarette, but a rather boring experience to smoke.

i like marlboro 27s, i remember buying them when they were the marlboros "holiday blend" and enjoyed them every much. Although i dont buy these all the time, they are an awsome replacement for reds, they seem to taste pretty close to the same to me (even moreso then mediums) i would recommend them. 4/5

After smoking them everyday for a while they're good cigarettes, have an exelent taste, and are smooth just as it says, something about them reminds me of a coffee or chocolate. However after a while i lost the buzz from them and moved to No. 54's 100 packs. Occasionally i'll go back and smoke a 27 if i'm out, but the buzz just isn't close to what a 54 can do.

i love No. 27 best flavor!

  • by

    Fri Aug 07 2009

It is as the box describes, smooth. Tastes sorta like cardboard in my opinion, but an overall good smoke.

i think these ciggarettes are amazing. they have a little hint of sweetness, dont dry out your mouth, and arent harsh on the throat. To me a taste a hint of chocolate when i blow smoke out my nose.

If you must smoke marlboros these are your best bet. Still overrated and a little bland. However not bad.

Great! these and reds are the best full flavors

  • by

    Thu Jun 18 2009

This one is my cig of choice. Very mellow like it says. Most other cigs give me really bad dry mouth but not so with these. They dont leave a bad after taste, in fact the after taste is almost like coco. I first tried these cigs because I liked the pakage (this is the first and only time I ever did anything for that only reason) and found that I really liked them. All of the other cigarettes that I had tried were either too harsh or had nothing going for them at all. These here are full flavored, yet amazingly smooth. These get an A++ in my book.

I don't know about it tasting like candy. Um, yeah, tastes nothing like candy to me. It's a great blend, very smooth, with a nice rich tobacco flavor. Doesn't have a nasty after taste that some cigarettes have given me in the past. I started smoking 27s regularly after trying several other brands.

From my experience, these cigs become more and more sweet tasting the further you get through the pack (or two)... I liked the buy one get one free, which was the only reason I bought them. I enjoyed the first few, however they started tasting similar to pancake syrup, toffee, honey, or caramel... The taste is almost describable by looking at the color of the pack. They don't taste at all like tobacco, which obviously tells you something about them. These seem like cigarettes for people who want to smoke a sugary candy coated cig. These do give you a good buzz, however I've heard that they add more ammonia to speed up the nicotine absorption in this particular blend. These were originally released as a Christmas special cigarette years ago (in different packaging). I can't imagine smoking these regularly, but I'll give them a few stars for lasting longer than other marlboros, and the strong buzz.

for a full flavor cigarette i would say this has to be one of the best smooth and rich as stated on box

    Wed Mar 25 2009

its basically a red with an extra long filter to smooth it out the cigs themselves look badass with the old style No.27 instead of the usual Marlboro. that alone states its eliteness.

    Tue Mar 17 2009

My first cigarette ever, and will always be my favorite. Tastes rich and distinct, goes down smooth, and for me it's always a bit nostalgic lighting one of these. I also just love how the packaging looks, all gold and class. LOVE IT!

    Mon Mar 16 2009

    Best cig ever.

  • by

    Wed Mar 04 2009

I like the taste, but there is no hit to it. I mainly smoke menthol so the 27s aren't as strong. But if you want a nice smooth regular cig this isn't bad.

these are my 2nd favorate next to reds

  • by

    Sun Feb 08 2009

Although I'm an aestheticist and I find the packaging to be truly repulsive, like something trashy that stepped out of a 1970s kitchen, I was given one once and really enjoyed the uniqueness, although I'm not sure I could ever get over the packing, after reading all the positive reviews, I might just have to pick up a pack for myself - it's also a plus that 27 is MY number, it's even tattooed on my ankle, haha.

I quit smoking 5 years ago (grudingly) but out of all the cigerettes I ever smoked these were the best. I went from Marlboro Reds(too strong) to Marlboro Mediums which were pretty good to finally the 27's which I think are the best.

    Wed Dec 24 2008

I just tried these 27's for the first time. I've been smoking for 30 years (all different brands). I gotta tell ya, it was the weirdest smoking experiance I've ever had! (from smoking anything legal that is). I got a really weird head rush at first & then a buzz. A few minutes after finishing the smoke I got the shakes like I was on speed or had the DT's. What do they put in these things??? So far I've had 2. They smell & taste good, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna stick with them or not.

    Thu Dec 18 2008

I bummed one of these off my girlfriend, and they were fairly good, better than the Newports I smoke. They taste great, they gave me buzz just right, and they are smooth. I am thinking about switching to these since they are cheaper than newport but they are better.

    Mon Dec 15 2008

heard they were going to stop making 27s anyone know if this is true? if it is that would be terrible and i will probably quit smoking. ive been smoking 27s for a little over a year now and there is no other cigarette out there that tastes any better, wouldnt go back if they discontinue this product.

    Tue Dec 09 2008

The best tasting cig I've tried so far. It is very smooth and has a curious flavor. My friend let me try one of his, my first impression is that it tasted a bit wierd, but not in a bad way. These are the kind that you need to enjoy slowly, otherwise you don't get the full effects. Would definitely recommend. Oh right, cigarettes are bad for you and such.

Decent taste, hardly any buzz. Disgusting after taste. Wait, don't all cigarettes have that?
