Wed May 12 2010I saw Sarah for a cut/color and I loved the experience from beginning to end! Very sweet, professional, and full of knowledge. They even called me a few days later to follow up on my services. I used to pay more for way less and I'm just so glad I found this place!

Wed Oct 21 2009Just started going to this place about 5 months ago and I have to say that I am impressed every time I go. I see Yvonne & Brianna for haircuts and lowlights and LOVE them both. I have also treated myself a few times to spa services and am now addicted to the Mini Facial- it is only $35 and is so relaxing. The entire staff here is so friendly and they are always offering to do little mini spa services while you are waiting. If you have not been to this place, you must try it!

Tue Mar 31 2009People get what they pay for, but they don't pay their employees nearly what their worth!! I interviewed for a massage therapist position and they start out at $11-12 per hr!! Seriously!! Spend thousands of dollars going to school to be a licensed MT and get paid that!! NO THANK YOU!! I was so offended that once I heard that, the interview was pretty much over! They can afford to be "fancy" because they're making about $50 per hr based on what they pay their employee. How unprofessional.

Wed Sep 03 2008My salon experience was nothing but a hoax. Mark paints the illusion that he has trained his employees to be the best in customer service. Honestly I was very disappointed the front desk was beyond rude!! One in particular to avoid is the older lady who wears enough make-up to be Ronald McDonald's double. The girls there treat you like a dollar sign. My greeting was yelled from the other side of the salon where this woman was sitting at the counter talking about her crazy weekend. I expected a relaxing pampering experience not to hear about someone's drunken weekend. HOWEVER!! the talent there is pure and amazing. You have to ask for referrals though. Each girl specializes in certain types of hair but each of them are great. If it is one thing that Mark does, is give them continuing education. My stylist, MICHELLE(the best ever), explained they are trained in the latest trends and techniques. Don't bet on the fact that they sell haircuts on experience level. th... Read more

Sat Jul 05 2008I took my daughter to both the Cottonwood Mall location and the new Coors location (I couldn't find them listed here, but I wanted to warn people none the less) and was VERY disappointed both times. I brought pictures for the stylists at both salons and even told them what not to do, and both times the styles came out horrible! I thought the first bad cut was a fluke, but even at another location and with a new stylist they messed it up! Both stylists did what I asked them specifically NOT to do and I had to have both cuts corrected, BOTH TIMES! Like another reviewer, I too have no problem paying for a good cut and Mark Pardo is supposed to be the best, but the Westside salons from our experience are the WORST! You know when you take your child to another salon and before you even say a word they can just SEE the horrible work it's pretty bad. I wouldn't ever go back to another Mark Pardo after the work they did on my daughter. Bad haircuts are hard to grow out and what is eve... Read more

Tue Oct 23 2007I RECENTLY SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR A MASSAGE AT THEIR WYOMING & PASEO SALON/SPA. THE LADY WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE SOUNDED PRETTY RUDE AND STUCK UP. WHEN I WENT IN FOR MY APPOINTMENT MOST OF THE WORKERS I ENCOUNTERED WERE TO BUSY TO PAY ANY ATTENTION TO ME. I ADMIT, I DONT LOOK LIKE THE RICH, ELITE, UPPER CRUST IM SURE THEY ARE USED TO SERVING, BUT I STILL DESERVE TO BE TREATED GOOD. I AM PRETTY OVERWEIGHT AND HAVE NEVER HAD PLASTIC SURGERY. I FELT PRETTY OUT OF PLACE. EVERYTHING CHANGED AS SOON AS I WENT IN TO GET MY MASSAGE. CINDY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE SURE I FELT COMFORTABLE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE. SHE IS A SMALLER LADY BUT DONT LET THAT FOOL YOU, HER HANDS ARE MAGIC! THE MASSAGE WAS THE BEST I EVER HAD. I LEFT FEELING RELAXED AND THAT FEELING STAYED WITH ME FOR A WEEK! SHE WAS THE BEST THERAPIST I EVER HAD. TOTAL PROFESSIONAL. EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE ELSE WAS PRETTY SNOTTY SHE WAS SO COOL AND WORTH EVERY PENNY AND THEN SOME! I WILL GO BACK AND SEE HER SOON AND ... Sun Jan 21 2007I recently had my hair cut and colored at Mark Pardo. It was the BEST experience. The people were friendly, the service was exceptional, and I am getting compliments daily on my hair! After trying so many other places in town, and ending up so disappointed...there is no way I would go anywhere else again. Mark Pardo is a must-try!!!!

Tue Jan 09 2007I finally found a wonderful hairstylist in Albuquerque! After moving here four years ago, I have gone through many bad haircuts until I was referred by a friend to Marcy at Mark Pardo. This place is pure class and the staff treats the customers like family. Marcy gave me the haircut I have been looking for and I am her newest fan! Call in advance because the girl is busy!

Mon Jul 24 2006ark Pardo is one of the premiere spas and salons in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Their staff is friendly, professional and talented. They are adept at the latest styles and treatments, and really deliver on a soothing, relaxing experience. Mark Pardo is also one of the more recognized names in New Mexico, and therefore a gift certificate from Mark Pardo is really appreciated by the gift recipient. There pricing is certainly appropriate for the quality and experience. If youre looking for a bargain, you need to look elsewhere. If youre looking for a quality treatment and experience, Mark Pardo is it.

Thu Jun 30 2005I've gotten better cuts from my husbands barber. The colorests were fair at best. Pedicure was pathetic (although the facial was fantastic)!!!! The counter staff is as snotty as a 600 dollar a cut salon in NYC. Give me a break ladies, you're in ALBUQUERQUE!!!! Won't go back. I have no problem spending as much as 400.00 for an amazing cut/color, but I wouldn't go back if they charged 10.00 a cut...that's about all it's worth.
