This is the public rateit all web site and obviously thge majority of people like rhythmical,latino songs more than the rock or any other kind of music.And Ricky Martin is ,no doubt about this,the most popular male artist in the world.

To fight among ourselve whose music is better or worse? No,let us enjoy the beauty of the sounds we like the most. I like Ricky Martin and it really hurts to read how many of comments here are so disrespectful as they haven't been written by humans but by some strange unknown race.

Fantastic song with abundance of rythm,melody,promising intentions,seductive,it captures your heart and imagination.I am over thirty and this song makes me feel alive,simly the song of sunny days somewhere on the tropical island with the smell of ocean and love. O,and RICKY! He can sing nothing and you can hear the music of his heart!

Great song!The first artist after J.Englesias who has achieved world fame singing in spanish language.And Maria is this song.

One of Ricky's best, but you have to see him perform it live to really appreciate it. Fantastic.

I know this song very well. I was in Franc that hot summer when the song had blown Europe out of it's traditional cliches.It was great feeling to see young artist,Ricky Martin,to have such a huge hit in his own language,which most people around Europe don't speak.It's different to reach the top of the music scene with the song which doesn't uses english language,it's more difficult,and as I now Ricky Martin is from the Puerto Rico,small island in the middle of nowhere,no background of the big market at home.So it must be something special in his music and in him to reach to the top of the top of world music scene. Maria is the great song of the great artist.

I remember this song ruling the charts six years ago all over Europe and most probably in some other places.It was such a good time to hear the song in spanish language to reach to the top.Not that I am spanish native,I don't even speak this language,but feeling was still good just knowing that there have been some other artist from other countries than USA or UK to be able to capture the hearts of the people. Maria was that song and Ricky has entirely deserved all the fame and glory it has come with it.

This is one of my favourite songs of Ricky.I prefer spanish version,and video is just breathtaking.
