Dear Michael: Joan and I want to thank you for arranging the wonderful trip to Alaska. This was truly one of our favorite trips, and we are so appreciative for the excellent planning and advice you gave us. Your suggestion for an extra day in Anchorage was exactly the right thing to do. We enjoyed the time there, as well as feeling rested when we joined the tour on Monday. Our stays in beautiful Talkeetna and Denali were great, and the train rides to both places most enjoyable, with wonderful meals. The highlight of that part of the tour had to be the day spent in Denali National Park. The scenery was spectacular and the many sightings of wildlife was almost unbelievable. We could not get over our luck to have seen fourteen grizzly bears, as well as many caribou, moose, red foxes, etc. It was the experience of a lifetime. Michael - I wanted to take a few minutes after our FANTASTIC Africa trip to thank you and your staff at Magic Happens Travel for all the prep work you put in before we left, the magnificent personal service provided during the trip, your concern for the four of us who were taking an extra trip after you and the major group returned and the central repository you set up for us to share pictures. We enjoyed taking them and found it fun to share with others who were also proud of their pictures. This makes the 5th or 6th trip we've taken with you and the NC Bar and, of course Lisa took our daughters on a European River boat cruise that you arranged, so we have had significant experience with Magic Happens. The work you do for the group, the work you've done for us individually, and the welcome personal friendship we have established combine to make our trips effortless, memorable and truly the vacations we wanted. We now have been on about a half dozen trips put together by Magic Happens. Without exception, every one has been very well planned, with fine ships and hotels, great ports and stops, and memorable guides. The acid test came on the Africa trip when the bus driver failed to pick us up. With no advance notice, Michael was able in two foreigh countries to find us rooms in Jburg (convenient to the airport, and in an Intercontinental, no less), arrange for our flight rebooking, and even to have the train in Zambia run off-schedule so we did not miss what was one of the highlights of the trip. Peggy and Michael also are great fun as traveling companions, and obviously enjoy the trips more than "just business" to them. Our ultimate compliments to Magic Happens are that we keep coming back, and that we chose the Company to plans the honeymoons for our sons, both of whom are getting married this year.

We have been very happy repeat customers of Magic Happens Travel since going on our first cruise in 2003, which was the Alaska Brew Cruise. We wanted to get married during the cruise and Michael recommended a wedding planner in Juneau, Alaska. The wedding was held in the beautiful Glacier Gardens Rainforest and it was just perfect. After, we joined the rest of the brew cruisers at the Alaskan Brewery for lots of great beer. We were on two other Alaskan Brew Cruises that Magic Happens arranged in 2007 and 2008. It is really fun traveling with other beer lovers and the special beer-themed excursions are top notch. Both Michael and Marcie are extremely knowledgeable and excellent to work with. In 2003 we asked Debbie to set up cruise for our 50th wedding anniversary. She made sure all our cabins were close to each other, that all of our group eat at the same time each evening. She did an outstanding job for us, the entire group had a great time. We really could not have had a better trip than this but later we did! Because of Debbie we ask that she plan a cruise/tour to Alaska for us and this was truly an experience of a life time for each of us. We still talk of this trip.
