Thu Oct 27 2005Never fired it but always wanted to. A legend among rifles, shot big bullets that left big holes.

Mon Jun 27 2005I have shot hundreds if not thousands of rounds with this weapon. It is still in use in some parts of the world but the ubiquitous AK-47 is supplanting it. It has great stopping power and is easy to operate and load. The 9 1/2 pounds helps with the recoil.

Thu Dec 02 2004Unmatched as a basic infantry weapon in WW II, despite a couple of minor drawbacks. Ever had an M1 thumb? An easy weapon to shoot and to field strip. Pretty reliable under most conditions.

Sat Oct 09 2004The weapon was good, but the design could't let u reload in the middle of a clip.
