There is a naturepath/gynecologist, hypnotherapist/life coach, chiropractor, in addition to experienced personal trainers and fitness instructors. Also available are body wraps and spray tans. Individual attention is given to each member based on their needs. Great, unique facility!

I have seen a few gyms come and go now in the Elliot and Rural area, and Luna fitness has been the best one yet. The staff is friendly, and the gym is very clean. The class schedule offers a great variety for everyone, and encourages members to try new work outs.

I have used this gym for over 4 yrs. The gym switched ownership a few times. Luna Fitness taking over was the best thing that could have happened! The owner is actively involved in all aspects of this gym on a business level and personal level. She goes above and beyond to make sure all clients are 200% satisfied and she cares, it shows!! She sees every client as an individual, not just a client. Recently I faced a very big tragedy, having my mother killed by malpractice. The owner went out of her way to allow me to post a fundraising flyer at the front desk and she personally took the time to share her personal condolences and had my family in her prayers! I lost my job in June, lost my transportation, and fell behind in all my bills. She went out of her way to freeze my account, until I got back on my feet. The owner of this facility is a very savvy business woman, loving mother, and her passion is in helping others with fitness and wellness! I have used coed gyms before and am cool ... Read more

It is so nice to be able to work out at a place for women only. The owner of the facility is an incredible business woman herself and genuinely cares about all of her members.

As a former member of one of the larger co-ed gyms in the area I have to say that Luna fitness is a step above in my opinion. The classes are great and the people are friendly. The facility is clean and people actually wipe down the machines after they use them (Thank you ladies!) I appreciate the fact that it is a gym for all ages as well. This is the only gym and fitness program I've actually lost weight on, with much gratitude to Skye and her encouragement to stick with it and tailoring it to my needs! If you are looking for something different than the same old gym routine give Luna fitness a try and I think you will be pleased!

Luna fitness is an amazing place for women to get in great shape, learn about health and fitness and be supported by an expert team in a warm environment. The fitness classes, such as yoga and Zumba are taught by skilled teaches. There are wonderful classes to take in abundance. Whatever your schedule, you can kind a class that works. The trainers are also highly knowledgable and dedicated. They also provide adjunctive doctors who provide a range of services to support women's health. I love the Infa-red body rap which provides amazing benefits. Luna also provides childcare! If you are a woman that wants to improve her health and self esteem, Luna is the place to go.

First of all I'm not a gym person. I have always been turned off by the meat market mentality I would find in the chain fitness centers. So I was excited to stumble upon Luna Fitness during one of my random attempts to find gym. Both my phone and first visit consultations were conducted by friendly and non-pushy ladies, which allowed me to let down my guard and see the benefits the gym had to offer. Luna Fitness is a Women's Only facility and this concept has given me that extra confidence I needed to try new equipment and classes I wouldn't of tried in a traditional unisex facility. Plus there is a wide range of women (young, mature, in and out of shape) who are members so you can be inspired without being discouraged by those around you. My current routine has me taking the later classes and morning weekend classes so I get a good mixture of the staffing and fellow members. Both the staff and members are very personable without it feeling like they are invading your personal s... Read more

First off, let me say it does not have state of the art equipment and its kind of dirty (using some of the equipment I would have to look down on the ground and see old finger nails...ewww) but it was empty most of the time and you could work out in peace and quite. But in all reality, I think I was the youngest person there (and I'm in my late 20's) and they made me feel so unwelcome! Skye the owner never once said Hi! or made me feel comfortable or made a small talk (which I love in a small business), in fact I always felt as soon as I turned the corner she and her employees were talking about me. Also, like every gym they find a way to screw you out of your contract. I was told one thing when I signed up and told another when I went to close it. They were rude and acted like they really didn't care. And in this economy, customer service is EVERYTHING! Considering they were always empty I guess she can afford to screw people over. Just like her gift to me was "stealing" a mon... Read more

At Luna Fitness they really care about helping you reach your goals. This is the first time I have experienced this at any fitness center. Other centers take your money and run. Skye Roberts the owner of Luna Fitness is an upbeat wonderful person who always takes the time to let you know that she is there for you when you need a boost. It's like belonging to a family away from home............Try it and experience the difference.........

I have been a member of this gym for five years now. Luna is the third ownership to have taken over and it is the best by far! Skye and her team came in and took a dying gym and turned it into a thriving place of kickbuttness! Skye has personally helped me when times were tough and I was backed up with my membership. But instead of shaming me, Skye encouraged me to keep coming because in times like these, we need to work it off baby! I just signed on for another two years because I don't see myself going anywhere else. It may not have state of the art equipment, but what it does have makes up for it tenfold. The atmosphere is so comfortable and relaxed that all levels of fitness feel at ease. I should know, I fell off the treadmill while I was jogging. No worries though- the girls just laughed it off- no men to take notice either! My husband is so happy that I have this gym because it makes my day so much better. I have taken advantage of the group classes (Nancy is my favorite instru... Read more

I had been thinking about going to a gym for a long time, but just didn’t have the gumption to do it, nor did I have the motivation to do any exercising on my own. One day after the first of the year I received a flyer in the mail from Luna Fitness and there were some key words that caught my eye, i.e. women only, restorative yoga, tanning, etc., thus I kept the flyer and decided to go check it out. I was given a tour and an introduction to the Luna philosophy, along with information on the available seminars & classes. Believe me I had no plans to join, but after hearing that Luna Fitness works to address all women’s issues, not just exercise & nutrition it was hard not to feel that I was in a place where I could get a lot of the things that I was missing in my life, so I joined. That is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff at Luna is extremely friendly and they really care about the women, which is very important to me. I need service providers in my life that ... Read more

I've been a member at many valley gyms. I really like Luna for it's group fitness class selection. Spinning, Buts & Guts, Pump It Up, Yoga, and Zumba are just a few that I am sure to attend. I can't go to a gym that has 1-2 types of classes offered in the late afternoon/evening because I get too bored. I love the variety. I also like to lift free weights. Most other gyms are packed on the weight floor and getting the weights I wanted when I wanted them was nearly impossible. At Luna I'm never waiting for a set of dumbells or a bar to be returned. The staff at Luna is great and the instructors are very knowledgeable. If you are interested in shedding some pounds, or just getting stronger, I recommend Luna and its numerous ways to "find your groove".

I've worked out at the women's fitness facility on rural and elliot for 8 years now. Since it became Luna Fitness about 2 years ago, it has never been better. I love the comfort of working out with and among women only in a real gym. Some of us women are athlete's, train for marathons and need a workout that other women's gyms like Curves can't offer. There is a diversity of excersize classes, even some that specifically help women with our problem areas. I am a fan of the spin classes, and so is my smaller, tighter backside, hips, and thighs. The staff, trainers, and instructors are always friendly, helpful, and can relate to you woman to woman. Some gyms may be fancier, but for me comfort, customer service, and atmosphere are much more important. I would recommend Luna Fitness to all women, of all ages, and al fitness levels.

I've never been into going to the gym, I can't stand how crowded they are and I never feel like I know what to do there. When I found out about Luna Fitness I was really excited becasue I was ready to change my life and I needed to be around others like me while I did it. Luna is great because its more then just a gym, there's also a Naturalpathic doctor on staff as well as a life coach, so not only do I get to work on my physical body but my mental and emotional body as well. And ini my opinion the whole package is much more important. I also love all the classes there. Sometimes I wish the gym was a little cheaper (although its really not bad, it's about $35) but I take a lot of the classes there and they're all fabulous. I mean they could charge at least $10 for one of those classes, so to get them everyday for a month is well worth it. The classes are perfect for me because I don't have a lot of expierence working out so I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing; and since it... Read more

I would love to says how wonderful and welcomed the staff at Luna made me feel. Now although facility is a little smaller than other major gyms, the environment felt more comfortable and easy going. They offer a wide range of fitness classes and siminars, their memberships are affordable and come with a variety of payment options and they also have a daycare center on the site which makes it easier for mothers to bring their children along. I feel strongly that Luna is committed to helping women reach their fitness goals, especially with the support system they offer.

I have visited Luna Fitness on various occassions for events and have always been impressed with the welcoming atmosphere and friendly courteous staff. As a heavier woman I am often intimidated by other fitness centers but that didn't happen at Luna Fitness. There are a variety of services offered and I particularly enjoyed the Hydromassage table. As a long time survivor of Fibromyalgia I appreciate gentle ways to relieve muscle pain and the hydromassage table did help. after getting off the table (reluctantly I might add) I was able to stand straighter with less pain. I also experienced the infrared body rap and was amazed that afterwards my clothes already felt loose and baggy. While being treated staff made sure to check on my comfort often and answer any questions I asked. They did not make me feel like less of a human being because I was over weight and I feel that when I am able to begin an exercise program this is the place I would want to begin that journey. I was also impress... Read more

My search for a holistic approach to health & fitness has ended. Luna fitness provides numerous informational seminars, all with excellent content. Their list of fitness class offerings is fairly extensive, ranging from kick boxing to meditation. Additionally, their spa services are great; I especially love the hydro massage. If thats' not enough, the staff is great; knowledgeable and also friendly. I can't imagine a better environment for getting in shape.

I only toured there but I don't know what anyone sees in this place. The equipment looks like it's from the 80's, the TV's are from the 90's, the hydro-massage table is a joke & the woman I toured with was weird & pushy. Everything is cheap exept the membership! Way too overpriced for today's economy. And what for? Nasty old equipment? No thank you Luna Fitness.

Prior to joining Luna Fitness, gyms intimidated me- but Luna fitness is empowering, fun and offers great Zumba classes, challenging workouts and helpful customer service. Sky is a talented, empowering and patient trainer who has taught me numerous new exercise routines- she has shown me the light from my exercising fears. She offers empowering emotional support and is a great trainer.

Luna is my home away from home. I love all the various services offered. I use them all (group fitness, personal training, spray tans, hydro massage, body wraps, naturopath, and life coach, etc.). The staff members are fabulous. They are fun and supportive. I couldn't possibly explain everything I love about Luna; you'll have to see it for yourself to understand. But, it's worth the trip, the time, and the money.

I've been to many gyms, this one is super! Customer service is great - great wellness information to coinside with fitness. Many classes gives you a variety in your workouts - less to be bored with. Love not having to compete to get on the equipment - there is plenty to go around for everyone. I couldn't be happier!

I've belonged to quite a few gyms over the years and Luna ranks first in providing women exactly what they need not only for physical fitness (they've got all the equipment & classes you'd want), but also for your mind and spirit. Not sure you'll find that anywhere else. I love the variety of exercise classes they offer and am so fortunate for what I have experienced in the seminars offered by their life coach! Did I mention they have a doctor on staff. This is definitely a woman's gym, owned and ran by women, who know what to offer that will benefit us in all aspects of our life.

I was an active member of this fitness center for over four years. The actual facilities and personnel were very good even through their management and ownership changes. They had a good offering of classes and services. Unfortunately, for personal reasons, I left the club in February of 2007. Then in August of 2008, I received a billing statement saying that I owed for the current 3 months (Jun, Jul, Aug 2008) membership dues plus late fees. I hadn't been a member for 16 months and was quite shocked that I would be getting a bill for recent months activity. Of course, I disputed the charges but they are insisting that I need to pay them. Further, they continue to post current month's dues on to the account. How is it possible for a company to dig up dead accounts and start charging the customer again? They have the upper hand when they have the ability to report negative findings on a customers credit report. I'm up to my 4th dispute letter - and counting......
