I heard about Lohmann Dental from Rebecca who was very nice and friendly. She helped me get an appointment and we arranged my treatment as my schedule premitted while going to college. The staff there were super friendly and caring. I needed a deep scale cleaning and I was very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend going there.

I'm on the fence with this office. Up until the end I had a pleasant experience. The front desk girls were very helpful and addressed all my questions. They were even able to work me in when the schedule was full. I was pulled back by the hygienist right away and didn't have to wait long. I was greeted by everyone I passed. The hygienist was extremely nice. She was gentle and explained everything very thoroughly - she even showed me pictures of the teeth that needed fillings so I could see them. She was very personable and listened to my concerns. Dr. Lohmann was also very tentative and reviewed everything with me again. He seemed to be concerned about my teeth not my pocketbook. After he talked to me about the work that needed to be done he explained that his office manager was going to go over the rest of the details - this is when it went all down hill. I actually found Dr. Lohmann when I first moved to town four years ago and literally opened up my BC/BS booklet and saw that he was in my neighborhood and in my plan. I didn't have any referrals but I thought.. what the heck! How lucky was I! They are soooo nice! Everyone there makes you feel comfortable and at ease. They have NEVER taken me late for an appt and are always efficient and timely during the exams. Dr. Lohmann is so sweet and I always feel like I'm in great hands! They have the capabilities to show you on a big screen what's actually going on in your mouth and explain it thoroughly so you understand. I was having some sensitivity and they explained why and what needed to be done. You never feel like you are getting some service you don't really need. I cannot recommend this dentist and dental office enough. They are wonderful!! And if you want your smile to sparkle.. give them a call! : )

Been going here for a few years. I never have to file anything with my insurance (they do it for me). I can usually get an appointment easily.

The friendly staff is great from start to finish and are a great complement to Dr. Lohmann. Dr. Bill was referred to me by a co-worker and I've been really happy with every aspect of my care. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who lives or works in town!

Where should I begin... From the moment you step foot through the doors you are greeted with a smile and great conversation. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT LONG FOR SERVICE. This is a major plus for me as a fulltime working Wife & Mom. The Dental Hygenist brings you to the back and immediately I am at ease with her gentle touch and attention to detail. The equipment is state of the art and they don't perform any unnecessary procedures. Dr. Lohmann promptly follows the Hygenist (again no long waiting) and reviews with ease. He & his insurance specialist are very comprehensive. I always leave understanding the work I've had done, need done and how much it will cost. There are no surprises. 1 of the best things I appreciate about Dr. Lohmanns practice is his awareness of the patient. Times are hard and they want to be sure you can afford the work you need done. They offer many incentives to keep your smile perfect.

I had been going to my previous dentist for 13 years, and was very satisfied. When I went with my wife to her appt. with Dr. Lohmann, I was immediately impressed by Rebecca's warm reception. I had several questions, and although she was busy, she took the time and answered them all. My major complaint with my previous dentist is that I was always blindsided by cost that my insurance provider did not cover. Wendy, Dr. Lohmann's insurance specialist makes sure that doesn't happen. I've never seen anyone so thorough. She even helped me figure out a plan to maximize my insurance benefits. April, the hygenist, was great, and Dr. Lohmann completely understood and complied with my holistic concerns regarding removing old silver/mercury fillings and cosmetics.

I have been very reluctant in going to the dentist because of my past experiences but, I decided to google "best dentist in Atlanta, Ga" and I ran across Dr. Lohmann DDS and my first visit to Dr. Lohmann was an experience I only dreamed of.....The staff was the most professional and friendly staff i've ever encountered in a dental office. I felt very welcomed and comfortable :) and in 20+ years of going to the dentist in different cities and states, no dental office has ever taken out the time to educate me about my dental issues and in most cases, a lot of dentist will see that you have insurance and create issues that don't exist to get paid but not at Dr. Lohmann, the assistant and the hygenist were very patient and knowledgeable and the first thing that shocked me was when the receptionist/assistant stated "we're not going to fix something that's not there just to absorb your insurance". Dr. Lohmann's office always has the latest technology, the offices are nice and comfortable and the same staff is there from one visit to the next! The lack of turnover makes it a better experience for sure. He has flat screen tvs in each room so you can watch tv while getting your teeth cleaned or drilled or whatever. I have been going to him for over 15 years now. Bill's Bucks are a great incentive to take care of your teeth!

I love Dr. Lohmann,s chair side manner. He puts you at ease.

Dr. Lohmann is my fourth (that's right 4th) dentist in Atlanta. Every other dentist has been rude, unhelpful, unknowledgeable or has tried to completely rip me off by recommending dental services I don't need. I read the great reviews on Dr. Lohmann and decided to give him a try. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and my hygenist was the nicest I've ever had! They took a detailed look at my teeth and Dr. Lohmann gave me an honest second opinion on these services (imagine that, I don't need them!) I will definitely be back!!

I just switched Dentist to find something closer and I am soooo HAPPY with my decision. I really like the flat screen TV while getting work done. The people and service are awesome!

Very clean office. Love that they have incentives to help patients save $$$. They offer additional products & services but are not pushy like other offices.

Every once in a while if you are lucky, you come across a professional who’s passion, skill and attention to detail, take precedence over making money. The best in any profession are those that are motivated by passion. I've found from my first experience as a patient with Dr. Lohmann (about 18 years ago), until now, that he is this kind of a person and dentist.

Dr. Lohmann's office takes appointments late (i.e., they close around 7:00 p.m.) one or 2 nights a week, so it's never been an issue for me to fit teeth cleanings into my busy schedule! I believe they are also sometimes open on Saturday mornings. April at the office has been my hygienist for several years--always a pleasure to see her!

The personal concern for my dental health is always evident. Dr. Lohmann & staff are always willing to provide education & support re: my ongoing need for maintaining healthy gums (a lifelong challenge). I am finally a committed flosser ! Getting to the office is a 150 mile round trip, but I depend on the expert care I receive, so wouldn't think of switching.

I used to have a good bit of apprehension going to the dentist. I don't have that w/Dr. Lohmann. He is very "painless" in his approach to dentistry. He is also a "mercury free" dentist, which I particularly appreciate. Bill has been my dentist for approx. 4 years with no issues whatsoever. His appointments start on time and finish on-time (or ahead of schedule). His dental hygienists are also top notch, also.

I have been going to Dr. Lohmann for many years now. I found him because he doesn't use mercury in his practice. I stayed all this time because a wonderful dentist, well informed on all aspects of dentistry and straight forward. I recommend he and his staff highly.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lohmann's for four years now. Each time I go in I'm greeted (by name) by each staff member. Dr. Lohmann has always been friendly, helpful, and honest. He utilizes conservative dental care. I trust Dr. Lohmann; he does not push unncessary treatments. Every time I have gone in for treatment(s), Dr. Lohmann and his staff have called and/or emailed me to make sure I was ok. Dr. Lohmann has even offered me his cell phone number in case of an emergency. If you're looking for a friendly and conservative dental experience, I highly recommend Lohmann Dental.

I was in pain with a toothache and the entire staff at Lohmann Dental treated me like they cared! I trust Dr. Lohmann, and I know that when I go to him, I receive the best dental care possible.

Dr. Lohmann is a wonderful dentist. Was able to schedule an appointment with in a few minutes, when I was having tooth pain. Did not have a long wait when I had my scheduled visit. The staff is curteous and very helpful especially with billing my insurance. I can't say enough good things about this office. They are great!

I cannot begin to express how delighted I was with my experience in Dr. Lohmann's office. Everyone there was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, right down to the office manager who worked in the dental care profession for some thirteen years herself! I was beyond impressed. The office has state of the art technology, including digital x-rays and a cameral that lets you see the happenings of the procedure on a flat screen. They got me in and out in great time..went on my lunch hour.There was no sales pressure, easy payment plans, no hassle scheduling, what more can I say; my visit was absolutely wonderful! So wonderful in fact, that I chose to go there despite the fact that they are not in my network of doctors! Yes, they are that good. Oh, and did I mention that you can listen to music while being treated on an Ipod!!!! It doesn't get any better than that my friends!

The thing that I appreciate most about this practice is that I feel very comfortable in knowing that Dr. Lohmann and is staff especiallly April, are very competent in what they know and do. The fact that they are friendly and kind and caring is an extra benefit but most importantly, I know that I am working with people who know what they are doing. Thank you all!

I have been going to Dr. Lohmann for several years now and it started with some major work and now we are just maintaining a beautiful smile. He also has a great staff and April the Hygienist is the best. Going to see Dr. Lohmann is like going to see a good friend, we always have fun. How many dentist can you say that about.

The office provided a detailed " sit down" session to explain treatment plan and cost. This was helpful, particularly because the work needs to be done immediately.

I found Dr. Lohmann kind of accidentally. I was in the area and just walked in the office. The customer service was great from the beginning. They had a great offer going for x-rays and cleaning at the time. After neglecting the dentist for a good many years, they found that I was in the beginning stages of periodontal disease. The staff worked with me to get the right cleaning plan implemented and now my teeth feel great. I was interested in getting braces, and now Dr. Lohmann is offering InvisAlign. I can't wait.

Dr. Lohmann himself is a skilled professional, dedicated to taking first-rate care of your teeth. He is also a caring person who treats his patients as individuals. He has assembled a staff who are helpful, attentive, and kind. His office is full of people who care about their jobs, and care about you.

I went to Dr. Lohmann because I was not happy with previous dentist. My wife refered me to him. Having neglected my teeth for over a year, Dr. Lohmann found that I need extensive work to correct some major problems. I explained to Dr. Lohmann that I had a long and wide yellow streak and was deathly aftraid of needles. The work took some months to complete. The staff was concerned that I would not show up for my appointments but I did. They were all very comforting and Dr. Lohmann was a wizard with the needle. I have now been going to this practice for over 5 years and would not go any place else for my dental needs.

I am 52 years old and I must say that oral hygiene, while important to me, has always taken a back seat. However, after having some quite alarming emergencies and being directed to Dr. Lohamann's office by a close friend, I can fully say that they have turned back the hands of time for me. I am very happy and pleased with the professionalism and courtesy I have been shown by Dr. Lohmann and his staff. I have an extra kudo for his hygienist as she has coached me back from disaster to healthier gums and teeth. Dr. Lohmann and his staff are professional and friendly. They are knowledgeable about dental work and make sure that all your dental needs are met and you have healthy teeth and gums.

I finally decided to get a crown replaced on my front tooth and went to see Dr. Lohmann. The last crown that was fit over this tooth did not fit properly and the black metal from the back of the tooth showed up in the front which made my gums look horrible (like they were roting!). It was quite embarrassing! Unfortunately, I had to live with that for about 14 years. I have been afraid to go to another dentist who would only make the situation worse. Well, Dr. Lohamnn fixed it up beautifully! The crown fit perfectly and looks very natural. During the visit his assistant explained the whole procedure to me and they both made me feel very comfortable. All of the staff showed concern and cared about the results. What was so amazing though was being able to laugh again without feeling embarrassed! I've been smiling a lot more now! I highly reccommend Dr. Lohmann's office - they do a great job and care about your results!

Dr. Lohmann is the best! I've been going to him for several years. I just had two fillings done and there was absolutely no pain. Dr. Lohmann has done fillings, removed all my mercury, and done a large bridge. He really knows what he's doing and keeps up with all the latest techniques. Although he is out of my network for my insurance, I still go to him because there is no one else I trust. He and his staff are excellent, and I highly recommend them. There's on one better in Atlanta.

Once you walk into Lohmann Dental Office you notice the colorful detail in the waiting room. The front desk person was warm and seemed happy to help myself and other patients as they entered the office. Service was quick and painless. The staff was friendly and professional. They told me everything they were planning to do and made sure I was not left in the dark on any procedures or payments. With the friendly vibes and wonderful service from all members this is defiantly the best dental office I have been to.

Dr Lohmann is the BEST DENTIST I have ever worked with. My particular dental problems were unique and expensive and Dr Lohmann and his staff made sure I got the best care with a financial program that met my needs perfectly. The office will take very good care of you wheather routine or emergency. I have been both and know this to be true. I highly recommend this office and Doctor. I broke 2 teeth on a Saturday and Dr. Lohmann took great care of me. I had family members tell me you can't see a dentest on a Saturday. I called and was seen right away.

I truly enjoy the quality of service at Dr. Lohmann's office as well as the courteous staff. I had a payment issue and the staff worked with me to make the payment while at the same time rendering the services on "credit".

I do not recommend utilizing the services of this office. I was very unsatisfied with the dental work. In addition, the staff is unfriendly, inept and not capable of operating a dental office in a professional manner. Friendly service is only practiced when you are seated in the dentist's chair or writing a check. But the lack of patient care before and after is unlike any I have experienced in the past. Rude service and a bad location....I will NOT return.

I have worked with insurance and have been coming to dr. Lohmann for years. I have been a satisfied customer and he has always cared, explained, and corrected (if needed) anything that I talked to him about. He has justified any fillings I needed with his camera so if you need any fillings there is no doubt. Insurances are NEVER going to pay everything for services so get that out of your head now! What does that have to do with his office? I would recommend Dr. Lohmann to anyone! A good dentist who actually cares is hard to find so why waste your time on problems with your insurance, your health issues in needing fillings, and unwillingness to pay for what you need. EXCELLENT doctor.

I just moved to Atlanta and found this dentist. I have always gone to the dentist regularly and have had a few cavities here and there. They found 10! I should have got a second opinion, but I am a busy person so I moved forward in getting them filled. 7 fillings later... my teeth are so sensitive. They didnt even hurt before and the "financial plan" they put together for me was all wrong. Turns out the premium they charge for their fillings is not covered by my insurance company so after paying as I went I just received a rather large bill that my insurance company will not cover. BEWARE of this office! They were for the most part very polite throughout the process as stated by the other, but just be very careful of there multiple procedure diagnosis and financial plans....

I don't know what the previous two reviewers are talking about. They obviously have bad teeth and should be grateful that Dr. Lohmann's office caught it! I've been going to Dr. Lohmann for about 2 years now and he and his staff are amazing! They are extremely efficient! I never have to wait for more than 5 minutes in the waiting room, and the cleaning is done fast and done well. Every time I go in, the dentists say that they wish everyone had teeth like me! They've never told me I need work I don't need. The staff always remembers me, where I'm going on vacation, and calls to make sure I keep my appointments. The office is clean and modern with flat screen TV's in all the rooms that you can control and watch while you're having work done. Parking is ample, and the plaza where the office is located happens to have the best sushi restaurant, nail salon, and tanning bed in town (in my humble opinion). I am just writing to second the previous review. I recently moved to Atlanta and was in need of a good dentist with extended hours, so I chose this office. The office has a good location and parking, and all of the office staff were helpful and nice. However, I will not be going back. I did not see Dr. Lohmann, but I did see another dentist at that practice that told me that I have 13 serious cavities that require >3,000 dollars in dental work!!! I have been going to the dentist (several of them) every 6 months for routine cleaning and exams, so I know that this is pretty ridiculous. Just wanted to spread the word!

I just moved to the area and checked out ratings for dentists on citysearch. I chose Dr. Lohmann's office because of the great ratings and comments posted on this website. After visiting this office, however, I must say that this was the WORST dental experience i've ever had. Here's a list of just a few of the things that have happened to me: 1. I showed up for my appointment that I had booked one MONTH in advance and they had no record of it whatsoever. 2. They then made me wait 1.5 hours to be "fit into their schedule" 3. When I finally was taken back to be seen for a routine cleaning, they put me in the wrong room where a doctor came in and was about to start a cosmetic dental treatment on me. 4. They did a bad job cleaning my teeth and then proceeded to tell me that I have 7 SERIOUS cavities that need to be fixed immediately...costing a grand total of $2500! Finding a good dentist was the excitement of my day! I just had my first visit to Dr. Lohmann?s office today. I chose them based on the high ratings and all the good reviews on this site. It?s only one visit, but I am very happy with everything. The office staff is great. They got me an appointment with one day notice since it was a semi-emergency. Dr. Lohmann is very down-to-earth, friendly, and professional. The work done on my tooth was quick and painless. I highly recommend them.

I first started going to Dr. Lohmann in 9-2000 after moving here from New Orleans. I found his office to be very clean, neat and efficient. He does a good job in maintaining the same staff, does not seem to have a lot of turnover. I have had full Veneers done and I have to say I am very impressed with the way it has turned out. My smile is so much more attractive and I am more self-confident. Dr. Lohmann is easy to talk to and did not seem overzealous in his approach for my cosmetic dentistry needs. I endorse him 100%! Very satisfied!
