i love them all there music has been great Somewhere I Belong, In the End, What I'v Done, and there newer music The Catylast is a great no fantastic song i love how they sound and everything they have some great music i can listen to them and never get bored

It took me a while to warm up to Linkin Park, but when I heard all of HYBRID THEORY I became fascinated with them; I consider it their best work. METEORA was more diverse and also enjoyable. MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT is awful; Linkin Park always flirted with the emo scene but with MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT they have embraced it and decided that it is the place to be.

Loved the first album. Even though it did sound the same in most parts. oh, and the people that don't like there lyrics on the album, they are about chester(the singer/screamer) and his life because he was abused as a child. There second album was good, I liked the music better on the second album because it was more diversified but the lyrics were the exact same. Minutes To Midnight was a big step up for them, even if it did have wholes since it was an experimantation album and was none of the rap/rock that we are used to. The lyrics were much better and the album proved that they had talent with a few half decent guitar solo's and the fact that the rapper, mike, sang a song on this album (which was amazing) Still one of my favorite bands with KoRn and Papa Roach.

Im a casual rock fan but they're my favorite. The reanimation cd is the best.

Fantastic band with an energy and rawness that you cannot help but feel and experience.

Point blank, LP is one of the most under-rated bands right now. All the people who give them a 1/5 do not understand music and should never listen to music. Sure, they're the same idea as Limp Biskit and Papa Roach, but they're the only Rap Metal band that has had a load of record sales and their doesn't only combine rap with metal, but with techno as well. Did anyone forget that Hyrbrid Theory was the best selling album in 2001? With 10 million sales, at that? And has anyone else heard the lame music coming from people like Ashley Simpson and the like? In my opinion, bands like Linkin Park are the kind of people who will bring the start of the musical revolution and will piss on Backstreet Boy's grave. Shout out to the LP Street Soldiers!

I like some of the beats to their songs. I can do without the rap mixed with over top screaming. Not a style to be imitated.

Linkin Park are...good, with occassional bursts of greatness. Hybrid Theory, their first album, spawned two great songs. 'Faint' is probably their best effort, though.

Totally Awesome...to begin with. I luvd all there albums, & wen they came up with METEORA, they skyrocketed in my opinion. & wen they teamed up with Jay-Z, their album was in my CD player not long after it was placed on the shelves.

One of the worst bands I have ever heard. Their music is absolutely abhorrent. Their whiny, faux-angst, uninspired lyrics are made to identify with loser depressed fifteen-year-olds who hate their parents and claim to be outcasts. Who the hell decided to make Chester Bennington the singer? His raspy screaming makes my ears bleed. The drummer couldn't drum his way out of a paper bag. The crashing guitars are lame. It all adds up to a big steaming pile of crap. Why would anybody find this music pleasureable? And to people who identify with their lyrics and find them full of meaning, suck it up, pansies. You say they rock now, but watch, in three or four years you'll look back and laugh at how crappy they were and how foolish you were to like them. They're definitely not gonna go down in any history books.

Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands. However I do like them less than I used to. I'm not too big on rap/rock, but i still like them a lot.

This band isn't nearly as bad as most people make them out to be. Sure their lyrics aren't great, but their style is what's catchy. To me, they're not trying to be like other punk/rock bands, they're just doing what they love (whether it's for the music or the money, who's to say?). And I like the mixture of rap and rock. I think they pull it off very well. However, there is that screaming of Chester that kind of makes me grit my teeth; sometimes, not all the time.

Linkin Park is the best band in the world! They have created the perfect sound. I love Chester Bennington.

With the possible exception of Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach, this band is the WORST of the nu-metal bands out there.

PRETTY GOOD , ESPECIALY THE LEAD SINGERS RASPY VOICE WHEN HE SCREAMS "CRAAAAAWLIN"

I almost dug that first song of theirs that came out, until I realised that every single song of theirs follows the exact same dynamic - dude raps for a bit, other dude comes in with little boy voice, little boy voice becomes angry shout, dude raps some more, repeat over talentless guitar playing and scratching. Thank you, Linkin Park, for teaching apolitical white kids to think of themselves as the downtrodden, as if there isn't enough whining in the world.

This band is really good while they play on the videos and on the albums, but live is a whole other story. I just don't find them too great live. Still kick ass never the less.

Decent melodies for a new rock/rap metal/whatever they call themselves this week group. No lyrical abilities whatsoever, as evidenced by the fact that they resort to shouting "shut up", etc. at the top of their lungs when they can't think of any meaningful lyrics to sing. The guy's singing voice is whiny and pathetic. They get a 2 simply for, like I said, decent compostion and beats for a band in that genre. However, beyond that there is no talent.

I think Linkin Park gets much more backlash than they deserve. They're certainly not one of the greatest bands of right now, but they're not nearly as awful as most serious music listeners seem to think they are. I thought that while their debut album, Hybrid Theory, was far from a flawless masterpiece, it was a solid debut album that seemed to show that the band actually had a good musical background, and they also had a singer that could actually sing and a rapper who actually had a decent amount of rap skills. Original was definetely not the word to describe them, but they weren't a total ripoff of any particular band. The lyrics were one-dimensional, but there did seem to be some songwriting talent in there, plus, they were really young and I was sure that they'd get better as they went along.
