    This is clearly Live's best song. Great lyrics and great emotion. Very powerful song!

    Throwing Copper went 8 times platinum, and this song was probably the biggest reason. While the whole album is great, Lightning Crashes was an absolutely huge hit that allowed Live to break out from the alternative rock category to a much wider audience. I remember this song was played on so many different radio stations, and all over MTV and VH1. Its more mellow then their other songs from early in their career, and really captured a change in their style.
