This channel serves a niche, and is worth the watch from time to time. I have caught some good flicks here from time to time. Watch the schedule.

I want to know why you have the army wives logo on the bottom right of the tv sceen with the time run down. it is annoying and i do not even like the show. please take this off. we have a tv guide channel and also a tv book. we do not need you to remind us. also you need to put on new movies and not start half hour or hour shows on lifetime. we have enough of them.Everytime i turn on the lifetime channel, i see reba or the golden girls.  please, can't you give us a little more than those old reruns?  And the lifetime movie channel, my daughter has it and all of the movies on it are the original lifetime movies.  What a waste of time and money.

I can find a decent movie to watch on this channel usually on the week-end, another channel that has mostly "informercials" for late nite/early morning TV so is a waste of my cable money frankly overall since I am awake most nites.

Not so bad actually, but movies like "Why I Wore Lipstick to my Masectomy", they should have removed that girl's brain instead.

"My movie's on Lifetime". Yep, and the Golden Girls, mainly for the Saint Oloff stories. I wish I could find a compilation of all those funky stories she tells. I think they are awesome.

My wife actually watches this channel fairly regularly but for the life of me I can't figure out why. The films on Lifetime consistantly portray female protagonists who are typically victims of various men, or at the very least, a male-dominated ("patriarchal")society. Whether it's incest, rape, anorexia, "lesbophobia," wife-battering or whatnot, the tedious, paint-by-numbers nature of nearly every film is as dreary as it is numbingly predictable. How such a quasi-feminist cable tv network successfully markets its product as either empathetic or empowering is beyond me. Someone please enlighten me!

I have been watching lifetime for about 2 decades at least and I am appalled at the on screen notice that says "lifetime celebrates black history month" You cut it off before the person says month and I think that maybe someone is trying to be funny or mean. But, I don't think that there is humor in sublimal ridicule. Who ever is in charge of this portion of the programming should be reported to management. It has underlying tones of racism and maybe even jealousy. But we deserve a month (with February being the shortest month of the year). For too many years we have not be recognized for the many wonderful and extraordinary talents, inventions and contributions that you use in your homes right now (like the refrigerator for example). Many have downplayed our contributions because some believe that we are "inferior" to others but the fact is that we are strong, viable, capable and courageous people. There are some "bad apples" but aren't there some in every race. Look at our... Read more

Are men so threatened by anything from a woman's perspective? Have you actually watched the programming? It's not my favorite usually - kind of like a feminist Hallmark channel, but I've never seen anything resembling hatred of men on it. Quite the contrary, as most of the movies are shmulzy romances that actually stretch the definition of feminism in my mind.

The fema-Nazi channel. All it is, is a bunch of made for TV movies. If they had a channel that was advertised just for men all the fema-nazis would have a fit.

I watch Lifetime for the infamous Golden Girls and short-time-only Golden Palace. I also watch The Nanny, Strong Medicine, and some movies. But, I do agree with some who say that this channel bashes Men. Where is this world going? People love to complain about the opposite gender. It's wrong. Men are not bad, no one is bad. Lifetime TV is just a stereotyped channel.

A lame station redeemed partly by being the only one that has Unsolved Mysteries. Lifetime (and especially its movies) has become sort of a parody of itself, and one could argue that there's little need for THREE channels targeted at women. But for God's sake, who cares? Unsolved Mysteries!

WHY are so many , SO critical of this channel ? What makes American T.V. SO G R E A T is the fact that we HAVE all the choices. Do you also complain about endless sports channels ? I happen to enjjoy the Nanny - to get a few laughs which take me away from daily problems and stresses. I also happen to be highly educated and highly paid. Those who are so quick to criticize - moce to a country where you have three channel choices - all government controlled. Would that be better ?

If there is a God, then please make this tv channel go away. But wait..it get's worse, now they've given us the Lifetime Movie Network, so now there's 2 channels for the girlfriend to watch!! And it's always the same god damn movies: A.) That guy from Melrose Place who's a pilot and is married to 3 different women B.) Jo from Facts of Life in the abusive relationship C.) The Killer Cheer Leader Mom Please just make the pain go away.... Can we please get those re-runs of Unsolved Mysteries to go away? Hello? There all 10 years old or more, the host isn't alive and most of them are already solved for all we know. Sheesh

The majority of the people that I know that actually like Lifetime Television like it for the old rerun sitcoms featured on the channel. Such as Golden Girls, Designing Women, and others. The movies are usually highly depressing and badly directed. I also know more guys that watch this channel versus the women I know that watch it.

It seems to be that the cause for this channel is to turn every women into men-hating/fearing, paranoid feminist victims. Trust me ladies, you're not crediting your gender by watching this filth.

Men- rest easy as I have yet to find a single woman who wastes her time with this trite. There's enough to get pissed about in this world without having to watch a two hour clap-trap of a movie that invariably has the female lead entrapped by an abusive husband or battling bulemia because her husband calls her chubby. Women who watch this channel either love Peter Gallagher (who seems to star in a lot of this dreck) or are looking for some good reasons to leave their husband. Either way, just fifteen minutes of it for me is enough to make me want to OD on sleeping pills or slit my wrists. So much for women's lib.

Great Drama Movies and the only channel where you will find Unsolved Mysteries these days! I do not agrre with other male viewers that their movies are anti-male since some Lifetime movies are about women commiting crimes against men.

A truly offensive insult to the sensitivites of anyone with half a brain or a quarter of a conscience. This channel is a continually vicious deprecator of men and a relentless champion of decidedly sideline and non-universal issues. Very self-serving outlet that coddles the neurotic dingbats out there who revel in their vicitmization and their identity as "The Wronged Woman." For the sake of balance and fairness, this channel should air pieces on women like Susan Smith, Imelda Marcos, Martha Stewart and other witches and bitches The Fair Gender would like to dismiss, discount or entirely forget about.
