Thu May 03 2012There are white lies, like telling your kids about Santa and various crap like that. Other than stuff like that, I cannot stand liars, I prefer people to be honest.

Fri Sep 18 2009Everybody lies at some time or another but its the damage that it does and to what degree it manipulates the reality of the other person. If its a little lie that makes somebody feel good as in the ugly dress your co-worker is wearing then fine. When you lie to benefit yourself and the hurt you cause by creating a world that doesn't exist for the other person like having an affair then stay away from me. I respect honesty above all else. It takes strength and confidence to be a truly honest person.

Sat Apr 05 2008I think this is the worst! What bothers me the MOST as the lies that are of no consequence. What is the point? EVERYONE, and I will say that again, EVERYONE lies ~ it just comes down to the extent. Little white lies that really have no effect or bearing on anything important, are ok. If your boss comes in bragging about how great their new suit is, are you can say, "What the heck were you thinking ~ that is butt ugly" ? No, you will probably agree with him/her ~ is that a lie? Sure is! But, the big life impacting lies are a whole nother thing!

Mon Dec 18 2006I don't buy this at all- what makes us mad is when certain people lie. If getting lied to made me mad, my career wouldn't survive here in the greater DC area. . .it really depends on the person. Don't forget- habitual liars in the workplace can make stategic pawns anyhow. . .

Mon Dec 18 2006I do not like to be lied to as no one does. Many people think it is ok to lie if it avoids someone getting hurt feelings (a little white lie), but the lie will always come back to haunt you later. It's best to always be truthful.

Sun Dec 17 2006It's not a good thing to lie or being lied to, but there are times when lies are necessary to spare the pain or anguish. I am not trying to defend the liars - I just think that certain things are better left unsaid.

Thu Aug 10 2006Few things make people angrier than being lied to.I'm not talking about what is called "little white lies",such as "Wow,you haven't aged a bit",I'm talking about whoppers, like "I did not have a financial relationship with that man"!!!! or, "No,honey-I'd NEVER cheat on you".

Thu Aug 10 2006Lying is pretty damn low in my book. I'm honest to the point of pissing people off by being "too honest." For example, "If I got an offer from Jessica Alba, I'm there." (numbah gets slapped)

Wed Aug 09 2006Now THIS really makes me angry. I dislike liars with an absolute passion. I just don't see the point or the need for it and quite frankly I have no time for them as their time wasters. Your life is so much easier when your being yourself and just being honest.
