Mon Jul 19 2010Three of my friends and I did a blind taste test with Level, Svedka and Absolut. Level was chosen as the best by all!! I also was on vacation one time and we ran out of Level and I had a Kettle with a squeeze of lime and couldnt drink it after enjoying the level with lime prior. I love Level. My wife loves vodka and now loves Level. I may have created a monster with my wife liking Level so much. Now she is going to be getting into my stash!!! lol

Mon Jan 04 2010I pretty much only drink vodka now. in my younger days I drank what ever whas placed in front of me. Now I am a picky drinker. Grey Goose... to trendy and very poor tasting with a poor feel. Level on the other hand is great! I have had vodka all over the world and I would have to say this is my favorite there are others I like but I will always go for the Level over anything else, even more so when a mixed drink is in the works. Level is the greatest mixing vodka I have had the pleasure of drinking. I recomend this to anyone with a fine taste not taking shots but drinking with freinds.

Wed Oct 07 2009this is the vodka I guage all others by - if you drink your martinis dirty, don't bother with this, as you won't catch the subtlety - if you prefer your martinis very cold, very dry and served up with a twist, this is the one Kettel One, Grey Goose, Chopin, all the trendy names that the "cool kids" go for are second rate to this one as far as I'm concerned

Sat Jun 20 2009I really do not see what the big deal is about Level. I think it is just a marketing ploy. I have had this in specialty cocktails at bars promoting it, but it never blew my mind. I was never inspired to actually purchase it myself. If it is more expensive than Absolut, just go with the Absolut.

Thu Dec 18 2008I thought Ketel One was a good Vodka but i was wrong this is by far the best Vodka i have drank. If you like Vodka give this a try.

Fri May 23 2008Absolutely Not Fit for Human Consumption, vermouth tastes better than this terrible vodka. The taste reminds me of a combination of Bug repellent, Isopropyl and old battery acid.

Fri Apr 25 2008Smooth, but has a terrible taste! It reminds me of sweet-tarts candy, some sort of artificial sweetener taste that I can't quite place. Definitely not worth it for the price, go with Ciroc or GreyGoose or something that is less offensive to the pallet!

Thu Feb 21 2008When I am going to a partty or a salsa congress is my drink of preference. I have make sure it goes with me, just in case they dont have it.. I love level. I tried it in sweden about 3 years ago and ever since then, its been my favorite..

Mon Nov 26 2007Level is a nice vodka. It is good when you drink straight or mix. The reason I only give it 4 stars is for the price of the Vodka, Level isn't that smooth to me.

Sun May 28 2006For a premium top shelf vodka from Absolute it is unofotunately nothing exceptional. It is not incredibly smooth or distinct.

Sun May 14 2006as a long time grey goose drinker, a coworker encouraged me to do a blind taste test pitting the goose against level. i was shocked to find how much more i preferred level. much smoother and a nicer finish.

Tue Nov 15 2005This is among the worst vodkas I've ever had. After three shots I had to puke, not from intoxication, but from terrible taste. Level is not smooth, not clean, not anything one desires from vodka. I rank it right with Gordon's. Regular Absolute, even 100 proof, goes down with ease. This stuff is like the $10 bottles priced at $30. Save yourself some misery and buy Grey Goose instead, or save some money and buy something cheaper.

Fri Feb 25 2005I don't rate price when I rate Vodka. That said, this is the same price as Grey Goose, and I much prefer the faintly citrus, extremely smooth taste of Level vodka.

Sat Jan 29 2005Effort by Absolut to compete with Chopin/Belvedere/Ketel-One/Grey-Goose falls short. Actually a 3-2 star vodka because of the price tag.
