Reverend Leroy is a faith healer. Faith healers use a combination of hypnosis and another of powerful psychological tricks to convince you that he's healing you. It's much like a placebo effect. Faith healers try to convince you to throw away medication and give them money. That's a sin of greed. profiting off of god and duped civilians. Faith healers "healing" abilities are nothing more than tricks that can be learned by any psychologist. A trick most often used to get the subject into a relaxed state of mind, after that the faith "healer" shouts at you or makes you jump so that adrenaline flows through your body making you able to do things you weren't able to. If the hypnotism doesn't affect you, they say that you don't have enough faith and insult your religion. It's a scam and VERY unchristian.

of course Leroy is God's prophet. This type of supernatural power only comes from God. The devil doesn't have these powers. The Bible is replete with God's chosen exibiting the supernatural. God is not a God of confusion. Even a child knows the difference between the natural and the supernatural. Why can't you all see this? My preacher Charles Young who used to work with Leroy Jenkins predicted the events of 09,11,2001 in detail 2 days before they happened and I have more than 100 eyewitnesses and video tapes to back it up. I made video tapes and gave them to many acquaintances including Doctors and lawyers. As usual almost all of them just blew it off as phoney and trickery. But isn't that what happened to Jesus when he tried to prove who he was by God's power. If Jesus returns as he did before I'm afraid he would be treated the same way. I think his second coming will be different though, returning with so much power and glory that even some of you won't be able to deny who he is. I a... Read more

I called his ministry number one night because I felt inwardly that something was wrong with the "healing water" offer. The packet was mailed free but suddenly in order to get the miracle power to work, you had to send in a certain dollar amount. Then to hear his "prophetic" messages you had to call a 1-900 number and again be charged money to listen to "the prophet".Then I recieved several more packets with varous products offering "miracle" power, but at a cost, eeeeeeergh! Sorry, I have been in ministry for many years, and can clearly see the motive of money in his ministry.

I have known Rev. Leroy Jenkins for many years. I worked in his Office & his home . The very Best times of my Life was with the ministry of Rev. Leroy Jenkins. The summers spent at Healing Hill Cathedral were very special ones. We had Revival's and he cooked & fed the multitudes. We planted beautiful flowers on the grounds of the property and he Baptized people in his large pool on the property. Matt.28;19-20 He was a very gentle & caring man . While working in the Office we had daily prayer over the many letter's sent in and over the water before sending it out. I also drank the water for many years. There were many testimonies of miracles. The services were like none other I have ever experienced GOD MOVED BY HIS SPIRIT IN A MIGHTY WAY !!!! It breaks my Heart to read all the slander against this Man who has dedicated his Life to the Ministry. If you don't know someone personally.... how can you talk about them with accuracy???? YOU CAN"T !!! How many people have you saved... Read more

I was born (1934) and raised in central ohio. I remember the reputation Leroy Jenkins had in the 1970's and on. He was considered to be a wanna-be killer of women and children because he was arrested, tried, and convicted of trying to hire a person to fire bomb a highway patrol officer's house, who had given him a ticket for drunk driving. The "fire bomber" was told never mind that the cop's wife and young children would be asleep when he was to pitch the molotov cocktail through the window of their house, in the middle of the night. Fortunatly, this did not happen because the recruited fire bomber turned states evidence and told this story to police. Jenkins had a place in Delaware, Ohio at this time, and good news reporting allowed many of us to learn of this Devils deeds. Unfortunatly that was a long time ago, people have short memorys or don't read the papers. But for those who whish to find the truth, it is still out there. (fool me twice, shame on me!)

I did not know that Reverend Leroy Jenkins had a nephew named Eli. Mark 9: 39 - 40 " But Jesus said, forbid him not; for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is on our part. " I have never heard him say anything negative about Jesus, Let alone anything evil. Some of the remarks here I would rate as getting close to evil.

I dont know for now but in 1975 or 1976 I was in a crusade in the fox theater in atlanta ga, Rev jenkins called me out of hundreds of people and told me exactly what I had been praying for,I had never ever spoken to him and no one came and ask me anything . I really do not understand him selling the water at all but I do believe he was a man of god at one time. Sometimes people let money get in the way but the bible says the call of god is without repentance. I believe that means once you have a calling or gift you will always have it even if you are not doing right. But you will answer in the end to jesus in death ot his comming I remember when he had the well dug and everything but he didnt use to sell the water so I dont understand that. But Please be careful what you post or say as the bible says touch not my anointed so if he is really doing gods work just be careful

If "Reverend" Leroy is truly a man of God y does he not just give away the water for free? Jesus himself never charged a sick person a dime and never asked for anything in return. If Christians are to be like God then this man should not be charging $100 for pack of this "miracle" water. If he does it to make a profit then he is no man of God. If he does it to try and keep his church running then he does not trust God to allow his church to continue and instead must scam people.

I believe there is a special place in Hell for people who take money "in the name of God" and use it for their own selfish reasons. The "so-called" Reverend LeRoy Jenkins is such a person. If, in fact, you will "know them by their fruits", then take a good look at Jenkins. P.T Barnum was right when he said that "there is a sucker born every minute". LeRoy Jenkins has made a career on exploiting these suckers. He enjoys a lavish lifestyle from his exploitation but remember the ancient truth, "God in NOT mocked, for whatsover a man soweth, that shall he also reap". Jenkins has sown the wind, surely he shall reap the whirlwind. The sooner, the better.

I really do not know what to believe. On one hand I believe in God and the powers in God. On the other hand if one is a man of God he should not live such a lavish lifestyle. The money should go to poor, the needy, and the hungry. Not on material things of this world. Fancy cars, mansions, and clothes are earthly possesions. Does God not say to give all your earthly things away. How come Rev. Jenkins can not live humble and a comfertable lifestyle? I understand it takes money to run Gods work. I feel only the money that is needed should be used for ministry, ect. Charging $100 for water that is Gods water. I feel God would be appauled. God is not about charging for things but giving things. I do not understand if God gives you a gift use it for good not for diamond rings, and fancy clothes. Yes, I did watch the movie. I do believe. However, building mansions off of peoples offering not good. That money is used to spread his word. So who will be judged come judgement day. Will it be Rev... Read more

Errors on Tithing & too much emphasis on materialism & self-gratification appeals to people's greed for money. In my opinion he needs to teach more on the Cross and Christ. To be fair, I have not seen him lately because I turned the TV off whenever he comes on. Just a few Scriptures to Support Mandatory Tithing is no longer required because Christ has fulfilled all Laws and requirements of the law by His death on the Cross: Giving to support the Church is Voluntary & in light of what Christ has given us for free Voluntary giving should be more than 10 percent but if not our favor & blessings is our Legal right & inclusion in our package of Salvation when Jesus is our Lord & Savior Colossians 2:14 "Blotting out the handwriting of Ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. This man Leroy Jenkins sends letters to my mother weekly. Telling her God told him that she is to give 100.00 or what ever the amount is that week. and God will give her a miracle. Some letters are sent registered mail. That she has to sign for. And when she does not send money. He sends letters calling her by her first name say why have you not obeyed what God has told you to do. She has given all the money my father left her and is now destitute. This is not my opinion. This is a true fact that me and my family have been dealing with for years. This is a truly Evil man

Hello All! I would like to just take a brief moment & state, "God, is the only one that can Judge us". Jesus clearly states in his word, "he who is without sin let him be the first to cast a stone." we are all sinners & have fallen short of the Glory of God!~ Instead, of belittling Mr. Jenkins, if you feel that he is fraud, than simply take it to God in prayer! By "FAITH", prayer changes things. We all need to come together & promote Jesus, and stop pointing fingers @ each other! LOVE covers a mulitude of Sins! I am a sinner, saved by the Grace of God, & I thank him that I am "FREE". Pl let's stop judging & pray, pray, pray! Remember, whatever Mr. Jenkins does "only he will have to answer to God". With Love Amy & Tywon! :)

Their is something called the placebo effect in which people who believe they are being cured get better even though they are not taking any medication. You could say that what cures some of these people is their faith in God, they do not need a mediator just inspiration to their faith often from preaching that lifts their spirits. It seems very against the word of God to charge people money for cure water, or only offer it with donation over $X, but for the people who do get helped by the faith inspiration it is possibly worth it. I personally, find nothing good about Mr. Jenkins in any way, he is a man not a man of God.

He is a man of God, I've been to many of his services and seen the power of God at work in him. He is as someone else mentioned, very detailed and specific when it comes to the person who he speaks to and prays for as God directs him to. I would like to see him be able to pray for more people who attend his services and it is difficult when he is in such a large auditorium most of the time in the big cities. I wouild like to see him do a prayer line where he prays for each and every one who wants to be prayed for.

I went to a crusade by Leroy Jenkins. He is a fake.A charlatan. I have been in church services with only a handful of people, and have felt the power and presence of the holy spirit. There must have been at least 2 to 3 thousand people at the crusade and No presence of the holy spirit. Benny Hinn is real, and so is the pastor at the church I attend. Leroy Jenkins does not have any of the gifts of the holy spirit. He preys on the weak and vulnerable. By the way, the congress theater was the crusade in which I attended in Chicago, IL. On my way to the washrooms, the floor literally stunk of urine so bad that it just might be possible to catch hepatitis b from the putrid odor itself. And by the way I am posting this to warn everyone, and unfortunately in order to do that, I have to rate it with at least one star.Even though he deserves to prosecuted.

I was a skeptic until June of 2001. I was healed of sciatica(back pain) at one of the tent crusades. Rev Jenkins came to me and gave me a little bottle of water. As soon as I swallowed it, I was instantly relieved of all the pain. It simply released. He didnt touch me or anything. I knew I was healed and I stood up and ran. There was absolutely no pain in my body. He told me that my faith healed me. I continue to thank God for that miracle in my life. A couple years ago, my auntie was healed of a back pain. Rev Jenkins came up to her and told her that she had a big scar on her back from surgery. He even told her where it was and the exact width. He touched her and she was healed by the power of God. She showed the scar to me the night after Rev Jenkins prayed for her. He was exact. She still has no pain in her back. God does use him. Rev Jenkins has many gifts and gives the glory to God. I was a skeptic for many years. I spoke poorly of Rev Jenkins. I am soooo sorry for that. I know be... Read more

Leroy jenkins is the real deal.I flew to Florida from Washington State 2007 by holy spirit prompting. I had lost hope and seen every specialist in the state with no answer or cure for leg debilitating disease.I was 46 and using a cane to sit and barely do stairs with it.I was not wanting to live like that anymore and am former State martial arts champion ...so all of this leg crap was a nightmare.I was living like an old man. let's get one thing perfectly clear. bro leroy was not in a cell. he had his own private building at walden farms. it was at the garage,he called it his {bungalow}. he had his secritary visit him almost everyday. he was given special privelages,he was actively running his so called "ministry" while in prison. he ran the liquor commasry, the pot sales and any other contraban that makes life easier in prison. i know from personal experience as i got caught up in his scams in prison. he "gave me" a few joints to sell so i could have some commasry money. but before i knew it i was in his cluthes. he had several big prisoners collect the moneythat other inmates owed him. i had to get put into segration as my life was threatened by his goons. there are a lot of people that make mistakes and wind up in prison,me for one. i was convicted of "stealing "my girlfriend and my van. so remember he has power, lots of power. and he wasn't afraid to use it. it went from a simple "gift" of weed, then it t... The Holy Spirit tells me that this man is of God. I get a bad feeling from the postings that are against him. I get a very evil feeling from some of the posters against him. It's so certain that some of the posters are lieing about their negative experiences. Did not the Apostle Paul go to jail? Was not Jesus arrested and persecuted? So were the prophets before. Yes, he is very detailed and told me ONLY things that God could have known. Yes, he has been in prison, and what people don't know was that he received a FULL PARDON FROM THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, CHECK IT OUT. He is NOT a crook, a sexual deviate or any of the terrible names people who "know" him are saying. Rev is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Water salesman.  faith healer LeRoy Jenkins of South Carolina grossed $3 million a year by selling miracle water and prayer cloths and healing T-shirts to believers who watched him on 67 television stations. He made an emergency appeal for $300,000 to pay church debts and then bought himself a $250,000 home two weeks later. He heavily insured a vacant cathedral just before it was hit by a mysterious explosion. In 1979 Jenkins was sentenced to a 12-year prison term for conspiring to (1) burn the home of a state trooper who had given his daughter a speeding ticket, (2) burn the home of a creditor, and (3) mug a newspaperman who had exposed his money abuses and drug arrests. Evidence came from a police undercover agent in the evangelist's staff. (The reporter, Rick Ricks, told me that police had warned him in advance he was to be "set up" by an anonymous telephone offer of information; so when the call came, he didn't go to meet the informant.) After Jenkins entered a South Carolina state ... Read more
