I was looking to buy a new electric guitar, and I did my homework trying out everything within the price limit I had to spend. Instead of buying 1 guitar I ended up buying 2 guitars and stayed within my budget. The brand is Leigh Guitars. The craftsmanship is excellent and far better than anything else I checked out. I own a Gibson Les Paul and a old Fender Strat, and I prefer the Leigh guitars to both of them. The action is incredible and the inlay work is top notch. I will never sell these guitars and I can highly rate them to anyone looking for a great guitar for a incredible price.

I have a Leigh pseudo-telecaster. Craftsmanship is excellent. The nut width is near 1 3/4" which makes it superb for a pickless finger-picker like me. It is made of Mexican woods I can't quite remember the names of, sustains all day long, and is as light as a feather. Couldn't be a whole lot happier....

I had the opportunity to play a Leigh acoustic guitar. It was pearl inlay back, neck and headstock. Aside from it being the most beautiful looking guitar I ever played, it was the best feeling action and best sounding acoustic guitar I ever played. I have never played a Leigh electric guitar, nor a Leigh bass (bass guitar being my primary instrument).. I hope to someday. I hear they are rare.

From my experience, Jeff Leigh has created the next "big thing" by introducing new and fresh designs in a stale guitar design market. And I cant wait to see his new guitars and headstock designs. If you like awesome guitars, check this guy out. I only read 1 bad review on these guitars-- and obviously that guy got a copy, because Leigh guitars dont use finish on their necks . They use a oil finish like the old San Dimas Charvels.

I just bought and then sold again the cheap leigh guitar that was bought by my buddy on his last trip to california and nevada. The guitar had poor finish work, and didn't sound as good as it should for the price! I bought it cheaper than what he paid, but I didn't like it either. Spend your money on a Epiphone, ESP, or Schecter instead.

I would have to agree . I heard nothing but great things about Leigh Guitars. When I save up a little money, thats going to be the guitar I will be buying!
