Larry Fitzgerald's team lost the game, but would anybody besides Steelers fans have been upset if he took home the MVP from this game? The guy proved to be a big time playmaker, and a guy who anybody would most certainly want on their team. People always want players who play their best when the game is on the line, and Fitzgerald certainly did that. He had an amazing second half to cap off a great playoff run over the past month. No player did more to improve their image as a player and a pro during the last season than Fitzgerald did.

He started slow, but showed up when it mattered. He nearly won the game. Amazingly, the play that made the difference was Fitzgerald's mad 100 yard dash to try and tackle Harrison's interception return - Fitzgerald got there a fraction of a second too late, and the play was the difference in the game. I think Fitzgerald is my favorite NFL player - he plays with class, grace, and incredible talent.

This guy is a man. He runs AWAY from defensive backfield players. (Hear that? Larry just scored another TD against the Philadelphia Eagles.) Larry Fitz lost this game. . .but without him the Redbirds don't sniff the possibility of victory. Fitzgerald was the best player on that field tonight. . .but life ain't fair, kid. It was nice to see such a classy player do so well on the big stage. He's headed for the HOF unless he loses both legs in an accident. Enjoy a real WR who has talent and doesn't act like a horse's ass. . .

Once Warner remembered he was on the field in the second half, he had a great game. Too bad for Arizona that Holmes had a better one, despite what born-again Cardinal partisans might think.

I think that its out and out bullshit to say that Holmes outplayed Fitzgerald. Five star performance if I ever saw one. That jump ball was another notch in Larry's circus catch belt and that catch and run was pure money.

It took him until the 2nd half to star going (not necissarily his fault). In a losing cause he still proved why he is the best reciever in the game.
