I just started using Lancome products, and so far so good! I love the cream to foam cleanser and the mineral makeup. The eyeshadow and bronzer stay on for ever and I love the Absolut cream and eye cream. I'm definitely a fan. Order through Sephora.....you'll get Beauty Insider points and free samples.

Just switched from using mac to lancome! Its foundation is FANTASTIC!!!!! extremely lightweight and doesn't make me break out! Recieved alot of compliments when i made the switch :) Their mascarra and liquid eyeliner is so so but hey can't expect everything to be perfect right?!

I tend to think of Lancome as catering to older women. I have never really liked any of the products I have tried by Lancome. Their color palette is dated and most products have an antiquated rosy fragrance that might appeal to older clientele. Their lipstick does not last very long either.

I love Lancome products - - have used them for years. They are expensive, but I keep going back because nothing compares. Now I use the Reenergie antiwrinkle treatments and THEY WORK. I'm closer to 50 than 50 and you wouldn't know. They really are great. http://lipstickdaily.com/

LANCOME'S EXCELLENT! I have oily skin and you think using a foundation will just cake me up....but wrong! I've been using Color Ideal foundation with SPF15. It's a lightweight formula that never clogged up my pores and it stays put all day. It also comes with sun protection. Lancome's Aqua Fusion lotion with SPF15 is awesome. Lightweight, mildly fragrant, absorbs easily, and does not give any adverse reactions. I've read other people's comments on their mascaras and I htink they're not getting the best results because they're not using the right one of their lashes. My personal favorites are L'Extreme (lengthening), Hypnose (Volumizing), and Definicils Pro (Thick, fanlike effect), and mascaras are always best when used with Cils Boost Xl lash enhancing primer. It conditions and protects the lashes and adds length and fullness to lashes. Mascaras dont dry out as fast as other cheap brands. It really depends on the user. Practically all Lancome makup products irritated my skin, even the hypoallergenic ones for sensitive skin.

Definicils is the best mascara! I love it.

Lancome is excellent quality. L'Oreal does own Lancome so they do make similar products. However, Lancome is what is considered a luxury line. Think of it as Accura and Honda cars...the same thing holds true. Same company but different level of luxury. If you cannot afford Lancome then L'Oreal is a great alternative. I personally love Lancome. The foundation is perfect for me. Teint Idole. It lasts all day and keeps my skin from appearing shiny. My mother uses Renergie Lift...she has dry skin and this keeps her skin moisturized. I also cannot live without my Artliner. It's my favorite liquid eyeliner. : )

Lancome is truly an amazing cosmetic line that possesses an array of individual products that meet a variety of needs. I can appreciate everything from Lancome's individual makeup line to skincare, i.e. My absolute favorite Lancome product is definitely the Lancome L'Extreme Instant Extensions Mascara. I use this mascara in black and even though it doesn't have a dramatic effect, it makes my lashes look natural and healthy, but definitely shows a result as well. It is ultimate effective on a variety of wavelengths. Definitely one of my favorite mascaras and definitely ranks in the top 10-15 of the best mascaras I have ever tried in my life. I think Lancome is as universal and diverse as the individual who uses and appreciates it, therefore; I can state that I am not only a Lancome user, but a huge appreciater, as well.

Depends on the product. I'm not impressed with their mascara.

I started using Lancome about 2 months ago, and have to say that their makeup is great. Aloegirl said that a group of companies supposedly use the exact same formulas as Lancome, if this is true then why do Lancome cosmetics, such as the foundation, stay on my skin all day, vanish into it, yet provide great coverage and never oil up my skin or need retouching? The cheaper brands I've used don't come close to Lancome. Also their eyeshadow has much more pigment than the cheaper brands, and stays put even when I splash my face with water and rub my eyes. The mascara is the best I've used, it makes my eyelashes longer and even provides the illusion of a curl! I know these cosmetics are expensive, but everyone deserves a little luxury when they finally start making enough money to do so!

I havent used the face make up of lancome, however their eye shadows are great especially the "off the rack" pink color. they also have an awesome eye base that works so well when u put it under your eye shadow it stays on all day long and makes it really beautiful looking. doent clump at all! i am very happy they made such a great product

I just started using Lancome, and I love it. It is quite expensive, and yes it is made by the same company that makes L'Oreal cosmetics, so L'Oreal is probably comparable. But honestly I love Lancome, and think they are better than L'Oreal. They seem to last longer, and the colors stay truer. The coverage is great. All around good product if you ask me, and if you don't want to pay full price, shop on ebay, there's tons of brand new Lancome products on ebay for alot cheaper than Lancome.com or the department store.

Here's the "Need to know" on cosmetics. They're a lot like clothes, mass produced in warehouses. And then labeled by their different companies. I happen to know that Lancome products are produced in the same manufacturing company and using the same formula's as items such as Avon, Aloette, and about a dozen other leeser expensive items found in drug stores. The same company also produces Channel items as well. Why is that a big deal? Cause you're paying double the price for the exact same product, with a high end lable. Needless to say, I no longer buy from department stores.

Nice feel, stays on long, many colors without shine or shimmer. For users complaining about price, try eBay--great selection of good buys on most colors

I am becoming a big fan of Lancome. The colors are vibrant and sexy. They also have the best eye makeup remover I've ever used. One swipe and all the goop is gone. They frequently have gifts with purchase, and the ladies at the Lancome counter at my local Dillard's are very friendly and helpful.

Lancome is the best makeup ever. I love to splurge on it when I can, it's worth the money. I always buy their lipstick, it's goes on so creamy & doesn't dry out. I always get compliments on their lipstick colors too!

they have some innovative ideas in this line but overall you are being taken for you dollar! The mascara is good but you don't get enough in one tube. This line is nothing special compard to other brands that target the same groups.

I've always found Lancome to be an excellent wear. It stays on, yet maintains moisture. The colors suit me, especially a color named Bordeaux.

Lip anything from Lancome is a good thing. My personal favorites are the Juicy tubes (they're all good)and their regualar lipstick in Contrast... they've only dissapointed me with that one new lip thing... but mistakes will be made.

the color hallucination in lancome's juicy tube line is perfect for the summer: its like a light, bronzy, J.Lo kinda color...i love it!

I love Lancome products! The lipstick glides on like butter and is more durable than most lip products, they have a wide variety of colors to choose from and if you work with a consultant they'll find the perfect color for your skin tone! Worth the money!

Too expensive, great value, worth the moisturizing of kissable, great lips.

Their lipstick is great- it moisturizes and lasts throughout the day. Also, they have a great selection of colors. The price is worth the quality.

This product has been on the market for awhile and can be quite expensive. The container is quite small and can fit in any purse. The one thing that turns me off is that you can only find these lipsticks in the department stores.

Shades of color are great. I like how they let us mix the colors if we get the three color plate. Stays on for a long time.

Lancome lipsticks are great because they seem to be good for the lips. They don't get dry and they last long so you don't have to wear it all the time. It's also good as a lip moisturizer.

The lipsticks may be like five dollars but they work great and they last very long. Lancome also has nice colors to pick from. They make you and your lips feel great.

Lancome lipstick is very dry. It smells good. There is too much alcohol in it, that may be why it's so dry. It also breaks easily. It has too much perfume in it, when you taste it, it's like you're tasting some good sweet chemicals.

This brand has good quality, but for the price I feel it's totally not worth it. You can get the same shades and quality in cheaper brands found in drug stores. Again, I feel you're paying only for the name.

Lancome is a nice product. Also, the price is not as extreme as Chanel. This brand lipstick is very waxy, oily and tastes bad. They do provide great, down to earth tones.

Smooth, easy to glide on. Sheer colors that don't look too 'made up'. Wide variety that changes with the seasons colors. Lancome is always out with something new.

A good lipstick. Does not stay on well unless you purchase the long lasting, which dries out your lips. Must apply more often than Dior.

I use Lancome lipstick. I like the way it smells. It is kind of expensive, but it's worth it. I use the earth colors and sometimes the berry colors. I don't like the dark colors. Lancome has kind of a gloss to it so it keeps my lips moist.

It lasts all day and won't rub off. Great moisture for your lips. Works wonderful.

Variety of colors and wears.

This is the only lipstick I wear because of the large assorment of colors to choose from and it's long lasting with rich, full color. It's worth every penny.

Durable and in a great variety of colors. Doesn't taste gross, either, like many supermarket brands.
