Sat Feb 20 2010wow--I really wish I read these reviews before buying a scooter from Garden District Scooters, or whatever Steve is calling his shop on Sophie Wright Pl. now. I bought a 2009 TNG Venice last March. First, he charged $500 to my credit card and it took him 2 weeks to get me my money back. Second, the scooter was supposed to come with a $500 gas card from the manufacturer, which I never got. Third, Steve was supposed to take care of my registration. My first temporary tag expired and I had to get a second one. It took 6 months for me to get my plate. Fourth, the scooter frame broke in half (that's right!) less than a year from when I bought it & the warranty is not valid because TNG is out of business. Overall, it was worth selling the scooter back to Steve for parts just so I never have to deal with him or his sleazy shop ever again! Do not even walk in the door of this shop. He should be sued.

Wed Jun 17 2009A few days after buying my used scooter, Scooter-Ria charged a random $1000 on my credit card. Even after talking with "Scooter Steve" multiple times and being assured the issue would be taken care of, I wasn't refunded the $1000 credit for 2 months. Additionally, it's now been 3 months since I bought my scooter, and they still don't have my permnent license plate. I call weekly to ask about it, and Scooter Steve says the DMV is still catching up due to Katrina related issues. The guy is simply a liar and will do anything to sell you a cheap, poorly made Chinese scooter. This place is a terrible place to buy a scooter from. I couldn't imagine a worse customer service experience. Simply interacting with this establishment is a highly regrettable mistake.

Sun Jun 14 2009Hello to all Twist N Go scooterist. My name is Ryan Mason and I am the Area Sales Manager for Southwest Scooter Company, who by the way is now over the state of Louisiana. I would like to let you all know first of all, we apologize to those of you with the bad experiences. Second of all Scooter-Ria is no longer a Twist N Go Dealer. We have a new dealer in town at FX Motorsports. Rich is the guy who owns the store and if you need any work done on your Twist N Go you can contact him at 504-267-4517. Again thank you for purchasing a scooter from Twist N Go and I hope that you will be better pleased with the service center from FX Motorsports. God Bless Ryan Mason Area Sales Manager Southwest Scooter Company Twist N Go Scooters

Sun Dec 07 2008They were a little high on repair bill but when my scooter got a flat they came and picked it up as soon as I called them. They had me up and running in no time.

Mon Nov 10 2008will never give my money to this place again. I have taken the same bike back to them for the same problems countless times. They hold it for too long, always find something new (which might be from the 30 miles I was able to get on it before the POS broke again), and generally don't complete the fix. Don't think that they will even consider talking to you about how to fix the scooter yourself, they have a corner on their little market, and are not giving it up easily. Since they are the only TnG dealer in New Orleans, even if you want to fix something yourself, they have to order the part for you and will charge you more than it is worth. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.....anywhere else.

Wed Sep 17 2008The brand of scooter they sell is extremely unreliable. It's a type of scooter that you can buy under a number of different brand names for half the price. They justify the higher price with a "warranty" that they will cancel when your scooter breaks down - and it will. The owner is a sleazy salesman who will think nothing of ripping you off. The best part? In Louisiana there is no Lemon Law for scooters so they can get away with whatever they want.
