After passing the initial reluctancy of buying it and after using it, you discover that it's a good product: *it has no perfume/odour which could transform (badly) over the day *it doesn't leave any white traces or parts of the product on the skin *cooling, refreshing The downside: *a bit sticky when applying it

I do not care much for any of the Lady Mitchum scents, but that is just a personal preference of course. I do not think it is a good deodorant because I always felt like I had to use a lot of it in order for it to work. Also, it is not moisturizing in any way, so it's not good for those with sensitive skin.

Lady Mitchum .... bring back the SOLID!  The "smart solid" is SO sticky - even when I walk around with my arms staight out for five minutes - I am still sticky!  Ugh.  Whenever I see the original solid at stores - I grab what I can (but will usually leave one for another person - aren't I nice?).  Are you listening to the public?  I've not tried the roll-on as I've never been a fan of that method.  Please bring back the solid Mitchum for Women?  I know there are some out there that like the "smart solid" but they are they minority.

This new Lady Mitchum Smart solid is the worst. They discontinued the regular Ladies soild so I tried the new one. I had been using the same one of fifteen years. It leaves you super sticky. That is if you can get it in in the first place. The first time I tried to use it the top crumbled apart. What a mess trying to get it off the floor. I will not be getting anymore of this. I called the company, They are going to send me a coupon to get a new one because of the crumbling problem. I will not use it, I will leave it on a store shelf so someone else can use it. I would not suggest this product to anyone. The package use to say "So Effective you can even skip a Day" It doesn't anymore. There is a good reason for that change, Because it's not true anymore. Bring back the original solid!

They changed it! The new one does not work at all. I can't even go 2 hours without sweating. The best one was the solid. I could only find that at Kmart or Target now I can't find it anywhere probably because they don't make it anymore. The new smart solid sucks and I hate it. Bring back the original solid!

i have been using this product for about two years now i perspire really bad.i work out side and have tried a lot of different deodorants, this product along with my usual hygiene morning ritual of super duper hot shower and then letting my skin dry for at least 15 minutes(i let the deodorant dry on at the same time(it does take a long time for the product to dry))before dressing last me until i get home from work.it and one other product are the only ones that can survive me that long.mind you not all day,and i certainly can not skip a day but this is one the best products out there ,that works for me.thanks mitchum!

I have been using Lady Mitchum for years. I have noticed that lately it isn't working the way it always has. When I looked on the packaging I also noticed that they have changed their slogan of "So strong you could even skip a day". Being the weird person that I am I decided to call the number on the back because I could not find a website. When I spoke to one of their representatives, she informed me that they have changed the active ingrediant in all of their products. When i asked her why, she said it was a marketing decision, whatever that means. She then told me I should try another form of the product because it may not be mixing with my body chemistry. Oh Please! I have been using the gel formula both the Shower Fresh and the Powder Fresh forever. It was nice to see that she was willing to blame it's ineffectiveness on my body chemistry and not on the fact that they had changed the product. I will be switching to a new brand. I think changing the product was a HUGE mis... Read more

I used the gel one.. the first night i used it it worke like i charm, i went to give myself a smell and it smelled like nothing i was like YESSS!! because the gel one is scentless and i hate the smell of deodorants, so i was like finally i've foound the ONE! ... but then the next day i put it on and it did not protect me throughout the whole day.. odor came back so basically, if you havea bit of an odor problem, this is not for you

it works sometimes, but it tends to take a while to dry it once you put it on. there's no bad smell, and the wetness lessens, but it doesn't work all the time. Not the best product, I'd say.

You'll read on the package that Mitchum contains 20% Aluminum Zirconium Trichlorohydrex Gly. That is the active ingredient and the most I have seen in any deoderant yet. If you sweat...get Mitchum. It will keep you dry. I do not glow...I sweat and this is the only thing that keeps my dry. I use the gel, and fan my pits for five minutes. After that--presto--dry all day!!

this stuff does not work at all. i had to go and buy a new deodorant after a day because it had me smellin like a boys locker room. it does not dry and it feels so sticky all day long.

This is absolutely the best deodorant. I love the smell of the Powder Fresh. I use the lotion and never have a problem. I have used this same brand for many, many years. If your underarms are not well dried, no deodorant will stick, it will rub off on your clothes.

I like Lady Mitchum. I use the the roll-on kind and I find that it works well. You don't have to apply a lot either. It keeps you dry and it smells good too.

This deodorant is horrible! I do not have a sweat problem, however by the end of the day, I was totally wet and smelled awful. I was definitely disappointed by this product. I paid a lot for something that didn't even work. Definitely a disappointment.

I use the gel kind, and I think it's pretty good. It probably has the least amount of white residue of most of the deoderants I have tried and it's pretty strong. I found that it dried pretty quickly, you only have to apply a tiny bit. Two complaints: There STILL is some white residue, just not a lot. Also, on some days when I work out I need to apply it twice a day.

This product is the worst thing in the world! It stained all my clothes and smells terrible. If anything I felt like the product made me sweat more than usual. It also took forever to dry and is very sticky when you put your underarms down even hours after putting it on. Thanks to Mitchum I went around smelling terrible for a week knocking people out whenever I lifted my underarms. I would not EVER recommend this product to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

I picked mitchum for the sole reasont hat it had the highest percentage of active ingrediant. I sweat like a really sweaty pig and it smells. Mitchum is the only stuff that works. I've never had problems with packaging, skin irratation or it bleaching my clothes.

This was very disappointing. Leaves white marks on clothes (even after drying 10 minutes), doesn't block odor at all, and I would be very afraid to 'skip a day,' as the bottle suggests. I would rather use a natural deodorant and be wet - at least it isn't harmful to me or the environment.

Lady Mitchum is one product that keeps me dry. It tends to be a bit pricey, so I usually when it's on sale or when I use a coupon. The scent is pleasant and the gel applicator is well manufactured.

I use Lady Mitchum and I have found that it works better than any deodorant around. I sweat alot, especially in the winter, and I think it is a great product. However, it is not a cheap product, and I have a huge problem with it breaking off. It breaks off on me when it is about an inch left of the product! That really upsets me because I pay at least $4.00 for the stuff!!

I have already thrown out 3 almost new deodorants because they break apart and chunks fall off each time I use it. Why do I continue buying more-I read it was the best deodorant out there and I keep hoping someone will figure this out

What a terrible product. It is almost impossible to get a hold of the company to lodge a complaint and I have many. The biggest problem was this deodorant actually bleached the underarms of any shirt I wore with it! So this product cost me hundreds of dollars, the worst part was the shirts didn't show the bleaching until the next day or so, so I didn't notice the problem until a few shirts later.

Lady Mitchum does a good job of keeping you dry and odor-free, but it irritates the skin under your arms, especially after shaving.

Lady Mitchum is horrible. It has a bad odor that doesn't leave one feeling "powder fresh." It does not really protect you from sweating either.

This stuff has no wetness protection whatsoever! I swore I was sweating even when I was just walking around. It left white marks on my clothes. It also came in a very ugly green package, or at least mine did. I received it as a gift, and I hope I never see it again!

It really does work. It is a really strong product. But, I don't like that it contains the aluminum which has been known to be carcinogenic. That idea scares me that people would rather not smell like we do naturally than protect themselves from harmful chemicals. I feel that the company is more concerned with making us believe we need their product than actually making one that is safe for the consumer.

    Tue Dec 26 2000

I really like the product but they don't know how to make the products work. If you buy the roll-on, the ball doesn't roll. If you buy the stick or the new hydrostick stuff, it breaks off and you end up throwing it away. If you buy the gel, it doesn't twist up. They need to develop new product containers that work.

This deodorant works really well. It makes all your smells go away, and the effects last for a day or two. However, after repeated use of this deodorant, the lymphnodes under my arms swell painfully. People sensitive to deodorant should try something else.

This deodorant is not that great. It smells pleasant but the stick is hard, it gets dry easily (being abrasive to your smooth underarms) and just doesn't prevent sweat.

I love this deodorant. I had been using Secret for a really long time, but got sick of it. I switched to Lady Michum and it gets the job done better than Secret. I don't think I'll switch back.

I am not quite sure why, but it seems that after I became a mother..a foul smell started to originate in my underarms. I seem to sweat more also. Mitchum has been the only thing that seems to keep me from sweating profusely and smelling like a pig. I realize that Anit-Perspirants are not as healthy as a simple deodorant..however I would rather not offend people when I have to run to the store with foul smelling, drenched armpits. Not a pretty site, so thanks Mitchum!
