Sat Jan 17 2009Truley a teenage young kids boner wet dream. None of these men had real redeemable qualities. Yet, they were banging some beautiful women all the time. Geez, that was the 80"s

Wed Apr 09 2008Would be five stars except for Corbin Bernsen was on the screen too much and the show spiraled down fast the last season.

Tue Oct 23 2007This probably is very 1980s and wouldnt come over well now but at the time, even though I was a nipper, it was pretty classy all round. Hot women, cool dudes, strong plotlines. Quality.

Mon Nov 20 2006"L.A. Law" started out strong but really went off the deeper end by about midway through its run. I say this because there was less turnover in the cast, the writing wasn't overly dramatic, there was a good bit of offbeat humor, and the chemistry between the cast members worked at the beginning. Unfortunately as with many drama series before and after, the scripts became less believable and the producers started reaching for shock tactics rather than intelligent humor to keep viewers. I will add that Corbin Bernsen (Arnie Becker) brought no humanity to his portrayal of a slime ball divorce attorney.

Wed Mar 01 2006A brilliant show that set the stage for 90's gems like Homicide.

Thu Jun 16 20054 stars for jimmy smitts. i'd give anything 4 stars for jimmy smits even if it was the worse show ever. la law was worth 4 stars even w/o jimmy smits to tell the truth it had a great and talented cast and great storylines

Thu Jul 08 2004Best Law show ever. L.A. Law had a great cast and the writing was wonderful. Story lines were always intriguing and clever. I was sad to see this one end as it went through a lot of major cast changes but still maintained its momentum the E.R. of its time.

Tue Feb 17 2004I really enjoyed the show. The acting, the friendship that evolved from watching the show. The most excited time to watch the show is watching the charceter BENNY! The disabled fellow who had a hard time to know when to do something and when not to do something. I sure did love his heart. I haven't watched enough shows to truly understand the whole concept of the show but you know David E. Kelly. When he has a creative idea of a charecter he sure lets everyone know. What I saw of this show was the great frienship that came together, the respect of each individual, the love they had for one another. Although the cases were not always the great cases to be taken it still was a great show and it was exciting to see what would happen in the charecters lives!

Mon Dec 09 2002I caught some re-runs on A&E on a much deserved sick day last week. Outside of the dated fashion his show held up really well.

Thu Nov 07 2002I never liked this show much. I guess it was because all the actors came across as a little snooty and overbearing. Corbin Bernsen is the worst one. He probably had a mirror within reach at all times on the set.

Thu Apr 18 2002L.A. Law was great the first few seasons. Well written with good actors. I can see why it won lots of emmys the first few seasons. One of the more realistic law shows on TV. for the time. I liked this show up until the last season where it really went down hill.Too many cast changes and from what I remember reading most of the original writers and producers had left the show. Too bad this was a great drama most of the time.

Fri Jan 25 2002Finally, they added LA Law to this list! I am a huge fan. I watch the reruns everyday on A&E. Excellent casting, wonderfully written courtroom scenes. The two things that drag this rating down for me are the excessive sexual content and the last season. The show freequently made use of sexual scenes which simply were not necessary. As far as the last season, I know it would die as soon as they brought that fundamentalist religious lady on as a character.
