We have shopped at and purchased a large variety of furniture at L. Fish over the past 20+ years. We have been aware of what we were looking for before we shopped, which I believe is the key to our success. FIsh carries a variety of furniture from many manufacturers, so you have a choice of the quality that you choose to buy and the amount that you want to spend. In my experience they have many knowledgable salespeople - not all of them - but ask around and you will find some. My last experience was shopping for a soft and our sales person was able to explain to us such matters as " 8 way hand tied springs" and "kiln dried hardwood" with genuine knowledge - and took his time in showing us exactly what we were looking for. Once again - anywhere that you shop, yuo will be happier if you go on the internet and do your research - and price comparing before you go in. We LOVE FIsh - and hope it stays safely on the EAstside for years to come!

I visited L Fish Furniture last Friday. It was wonderful. I have not been in the store for awhile and discovered that I need to go more often. They have a huge selection of Serta Mattresses, Tempurpedic mattresses and name brand furniture. I was looking for a sofa and I found one that worked for me. I loved the price and also the selection. I highly recommend this store. thanks

My husband and I purchased a brand new sectional in 2005 and was very happy with it; until the seats of the sectional started to breakdown. About one year after that, the zipper (didn't know my couch was put together with the fabric being zipped on) broke and now the fabric is pulled away from the seat. Now I have to use pillows to cover this portion of my sectional. The only way to fix the couch is to have it sent off and pay an astronomical amount for the repairs. Will never shop there again, not even if they were to sell dog houses!

on 1/27/09 my husband and I purchased a counter height dining table and six chairs from L. Fish. It was in the 'as is' section ... which, I get it ... it could be scratched, etc. And it was in a couple of places ... not only that, IT IS USED !!!! I feel like that morsel of information should have been shared. After we got it home, we noticed that pressed into the wood of the table top is the name "Amie" .. a child like drawing of a snowman and the words 'the apple has' . There was food crusted on the undersides of the rungs of the chairs and the leaf that folded down and couldn't be seen was covered in something that I think was ketchup. I can't believe that someone returned a table in that condition ... and then the company resold it as discontinued merchandise. Without it ever being cleaned !!!!! Don't think we'll be going back there. **there was NOTHING on the tag that identified this furniture as 'used'.

We just visited this store today (twice) 1st time we spoke to a salesperson named Richard who stated that if we paid cash we would receive an 18% discount on the items we were looking at (nothing was said that there were excluded items) so when we returned to show other family members the items we picked out - Richard informs us that there is no discount. So we decided not to buy because basically we were being called liars. Then as we were leaving the store I look up at their signage and in bold florescent lights it states no interest, no payments for 18month and 18% off with case purchases. They tried to have us speak with a manager when we were leaving but I believe this poor guy was just another salesperson given the short end of the toothpick and was the manager for the hour. I will be calling the store back on Monday to see if I can get a hold of Ms. Orth who was mentioned in another review as the senior manager as well as contacting the Attorney General for their false adv... L fish finally did take the bed back after 3 months of hashing it out.. Everytime we would tell them we needed to speak to a manager they would give us to another person after a month of speaking to a woman there we found out she was not the real manager but that the real manager was Berry who was on vacation. to make a long story short toward the end of our battle we found out the senior manager is Cathy Orth who said that it should have never had to go this far.. She is very kind and we feel that she cares about her customers. things were handle quick and right after talking to her. I would probley shop there again since I know who the real manger is and know if there were to ever be another problem (hopefully not ) she is who i would need to speak with. thank you cathy for listning and caring about the customer that will be what keeps customers coming back...thank you.

All I know about L. Fish is that they send me more junk mail than all other area furniture stores combined. I will never shop there.
