The stuff hasn't had any recalls. It has NOTHING from China in it. I currently have eleven dogs on it doing great. Ingredient lists are only so helpful overall. For example, if you have chicken meal as the first ingredient and that is followed by brown rice, white rice, rice bran, potatoes, peas, barley and then chicken fat. How much chicken meal are you really getting? If corn meal is your first ingredient, then chicken meal, and then chicken fat, might this actually be better than the first food. We cannot possibly KNOW because neither tells us how much is meat and how much is grain and how much is fruits and veggies. The food works for me, the corn is not GMO. It is manufactured by an excellent company and tested inside out before it is shipped. Also the formula is a fixed formula. They are not monkeying with the amount of chicken and the amount of cornmeal, etc, dependent on what is least expensive this week. Personally, I was having a lot of colitis with my ... Read more

Very expensive but thought I would try it since the other brand Purinee started to make my dogs sick. The food is ok, but my dogs are still constantly hungry. The corns is not the best. overall decent food if you do not mind paying $50+ a bag that will last 2 weeks if you have 2 large and very active dogs. I am considering alternatives

My dog is doing great on Kumpi! I've tried more brands of dog food over the years than I care to name...some with great results and some with horrible results. Kumpi has given my dog a great coat, perfect stools, even energy levels and temperament along with having very good palatability and digestability. If it is good enough for scores of working and service dogs that are expected to perform well under stressful conditions, than it is good enough for my girl!

This food made my dog itchy. He hated it and the ingredients were terrible. The kibble is too small for large dogs, my dog didn't like it, and it gave him diarrhea. He became very itchy, the ingredients were appalling, the food was expensive, and the kibble was too small for a large dog.

Kumpi worked great for my lab. Never heard of any cases of bloat on it either.

Sad story but it still doesn't take away it main ingredient is CORN MEAL, has low quaiity grains, Dried Beet Pulp another terrible filler. Egg Product not real whole eggs, Chicken Fat is the 3 rd ingredient. Purdue University has identified any FAT in the top 4 ingredients as a factor increasing the risk of bloat in Large Breed Dogs that alone drops it off the charts.
