Krispy Kreme Donuts

I don't give a damn that there's a shooting every week at the G'ville KKD, I go every chance I get. The damn things are delicious. They have a chocolate covered, white creme filled donut that can ruin a tooth per bite. Got to be in the neighborhood of 50,000 calories. I get a half gallon of milk and 6 of these bad boys every time. I eat them, become the Flash for a bit, climb a tree. then I crash into a diabetic coma and sleep. Always surprised to be in a tree when I wake up.

Krispy Kreme expanded into my area in 2000 and began closing locations in 2006 with the last one closing in 2008. The plain glazed donut was ok and their other varieties of donuts were average.

Deep fried sugar laden fat pill bombs. These things should come with a warning label that says: WARNING: The Surgeon General has determined that eating these doughnuts may cause you to become a fat diabetic slob. Possible side effects include extreme weight gain, broken couches, chairs, and lawn furniture, explosive diarrhea, cardiac arrest, and possible amputation of extremities.

I just wrote a review on Dunkin Donuts which makes good donuts, but I had to come and review the best! Krispy Kreme's donuts melt in your mouth. They are so delicious that one of their most popular sellers is plain glazed (which is also my favorite). Far superior to any other donut chain I can't understand why it is so hard to find one. It would be great if they would increase the amount of stores they have.

I love that fluffy texture of their donuts, but the amount of love isn't enough for me to stomach the amount of suger they have in two of their donuts.

Sugar laden favorite of rednecks and fat people everywhere. Three years ago I encountered these near my house in North Carolina, having never seen them before. Now, they're sold all over my home turf of Manhattan. I guess this is part of the general "Rednecking of America," which is most prominently figured in the ascent of popularity of NASCAR and the election of that handjob, George W. Bush.

These are the best glazed donuts I've ever had in my life, but they need to be very fresh.  I rarely eat donuts anymore, but it has to be KK when I do.

HOLY FARKIN SHIAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THESE DONUTS TASTE LIKE HEAVEN. Just don't eat 8 in one sitting like I did, I had a massive case of diarrhea and threw up..three times. I <3 THESE DONUTS When they are hot, yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. :)

When I was in school our teacher would bring some krispy kreme donuts in and everyone would be happy except me. They taste stale.

KK will rise again!!! The absolute best carb bombs out there! Dunkin Donuts are crap compared to these.

Vastly over-rated. You would be better off health-wise smoking a pack of cigarettes a day for life than eating a daily doughnut. Consume in moderation.

krispy creams are awesome

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are so disgusting that I cannot put them in my mouth. I don't even like to touch them because they are textureless blobs of grease.

Krispy Kreme Donuts: A pleasant delightful way to die. Why not make-em with splenda, add tastless vitamin . Imagin healthy donuts.

Love Krispy Kreme. Their doughnuts are the best hands down. Especially the hot Original Glazed right off the machine. Yummy!

They are good but I find that they are way to rich in flavor!!!!! Very high in calories.

Best donuts and coffee around. We always stock up for judges and volunteers for those early morning dog shows.

Great off the machines: hot and gooey with sugar. But fattening as hell! And don't even mention the Luther Burger (a bacon cheeseburger between two of these bad boys)! Beware: one of these is a walking heart attack!

I'd like to thank some of the previous reviewers for letting us in on the secret that these are bad for you.  We all know they're horrible for us, but they're so darn good! Each one you eat leaves you wanting another, and if you get 'em warm... well... forget calorie counting.

When they are hot off the rack, they are very tasty. They are way too sweet to eat more than 2 at a time. If they would cut back on the sugar I would give it 5 stars. If you are a sugarholic these donuts are for you

Dunkin Donuts can take their "cake" donuts and shove them where the sun dont shine!  You want a donut... get a HOT Krispy Kreme original glazed!  These things give your mouth a joygasm!  And dont forget to purchase a chocolate milk, otherwise you ruined your trip!

Completely and totally unhealthy.  I've had them.  It's pure sugar, white flour and oil.

lETS FACE IT ..DOUGHNUTS ARE GOOD. I DONT CRAVE THESE LIKE SOME. BUT I KNOW ITS NOT THAT HARD TO FIND A GOOD DOUGHNUT AND IT DONT HAVE TO E HERE. THAT BEING SAID...THESE ARE REALLY GOOD.

All of these donuts are good, but they are more sugar and fat then you would think. Even after hearing about their fat content, I still really enjoy the distinct taste of them (different from other donuts).  A must try.

A guilty pleasure at times, but more often than not their donuts are so sweet that I can literally feel myself gaining weight.

Quite possibly the worst donuts in existance. I will not eat one of their donuts even if it was free. They do not even come close to Winchell's.

Best donut around. Period!!! I want to scream because my town only has those blasted dunkin donuts, with foul cakey donuts. I have to drive 30 for a Krispy Kreme, boo!

These doughnuts are the best ones in the world. My favorite is the Boston Cream doughnut.

Not the place you want to visit often since being healthy is important, however you gotta indulge in it once in a while.

Krispy Kremes are nauseating and it's a disgrace that the FDA allows them to be called "donuts". They're round-- that's about where the comparison ends. They have the texture of a grease saturated sea-sponge and the taste complexity of a mouthful of corn syrup. Actually, it's worse than corn syrup-- some of them actually have a medicinal aftertaste. I don't think most of their imaginary flavors would be recognizable in a blind taste test. Compared to them, Dunkin' Donuts are akin to fine French pastries and homemade cakes. The sight of KK turns my stomach and makes my teeth hurt.

All the donuts places are too high.  I don't go to them unless I am starving and nothing else is available.  The donuts at Dunkin Donuts are 90 cents now, I won't pay this much for a lousy fried doughball.

Fat Pills. Take several daily and watch the waist expand.

The first sight walking into our Krispy Kreme is the hot fat canal/river that the donuts are dropped into. This is a southern experiment gone horribly wrong. Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts is a much better option.

Got to love that "HOT KK DONUTS NOW" sign when it lights up. Time to pull in and buy a dozen! They melt in your mouth when they are warm!

They're about the only doughnuts I don't like. They taste so artificial and contain more air than dough.
